"Well, that's an option... and that too."
Edelweiss pondered at the two's musings about tissue utilities, a tint of amusement pulling a corner of her lips upwards, though she did wait for Amon to finish turn before patting Sienna's head as well.
"That second suggestion is more legitimate than you might think - taping your knuches with fabric helps protecting your hands from bruising if you intend to punch someone. It also keeps wrists and ankles firmer if you sprain them (it won't take pain away, but will steady your grip or steps more if you need to run). Gymnasts do it a lot using bandages." But in a pinch, tissues would do too.
She picked a single, lace-trimmed silk tissue from the bundle Sienna was holding for a quick demonstration.
"Tisues are handy to keep on your person. They look inconspicuous so even if you get caught and/or searched by a psycho, most won't find a tissue and think 'this is dangerous I better confiscate it'; and they actually have a lot of uses. If you're hiding and have to be silent, press it against your mouth to muffle noise. If you're bleeding, press or wrap it against the injury to stanch the blood. If you're somewhere hard to breathe, filled with dust or smoke, placing it in front of your nose can help. And of course..."
She wrung the tissue tight, like someone twisting a towel to get excess water out, in a way the fabric looked more akin to a short rope.
"If you are in position to counterattack, garrotes are great to have in your arsenal, even tiny ones like this. They don't require much practice to use, and are hard to get out of - that being said, if you get yourself stuck in one instead, make sure to slip a couple of your fingers between it and your neck (I can teach how to) and that will (again) help you not suffocate."
