Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Everything seemed to go well: he was being extra gentle with Sienna, but still learning something new.
When the third set of movement came about, with how gentle Sienna was with him, he didn't think he needed any padding (he was tough stuff, he went through two near-death beatings and a prosthetic implant without anesthesia). So needless to say, he wasn't expecting Sienna to suddenly snap.
Or for his little sister to pack that much power.
Unholy crap.
He was quickly on his knees, curling up in a fetal position with his forehead on the ground, trying his best to breathe.
In all honesty, getting his other arm ripped off and replaced was sounding a lot more preferable to this at the moment.

And this. THIS was the reason why the students were lent protection gear in the first place, and also why choosing to not wear it was a very bad idea. Edelweiss couldn't help but facepalm at the sight, torn between being impressed at Sienna's quick reaction or cringing at Amon's moment of (very painful) manly idiocy.
"Ame, come over, we need you here-- Liam, shut your mouth up." She turned from looking at the class' designed nurse as the girl stood from the benches to instead stare at the equipment-holding lad, who by now was breathless and facing bouts of stomachache due to excessive cackling. He did close his mouth, instantly, but seemed to be still struggling to stop laughing and the resulting noise just sounded like he was choking.
Alma just turned her head aside for a bit. That was not something she wanted to watch. But she did have to admit the newcomer girl had quite impressive footwork.
While Amethyst was stuck with the very emotionally-uncomfortable task of checking and healing a grown man's genitals, Edelweiss jogged to where Sienna had ran to. The doors were locked as well as the windows so it's not like the dark-skinned girl could go too far away in a blind fit of panic, but the redhead was still sure that if she can help her to stop panicking in the first place that'll be better. "Sie, calm down, you're safe... do you recognize me?"

Sienna found the doors locked which only kicked her flight senses into high gear. Even though the room geographically wasn't the same she was just seeing her prison. She recoiled away from Edel as she stepped close. Only once she heard her nickname said did she calm down and glanced around as her visions of her old prison faded away to curious faces and her friend.
"E-Edel...." She stuttered, all the eyes making her drop her head in shame. She wasn't the only victim in the room here, she should've had more control over her self. "S-s-s-sorry..." She said, turning into a shaking mess and wishing she could go hide but she couldn't. "I n-n-n-need to l-l-l-leave." She cried. She was so embarrassed. She couldn't stand being trapped in this room one more second.
Yeah...he could do without the laughing...and the pain in his nether region...
"S-sorry..." Amon grunted as Amethyst approached. "M-massive miscalculation on my part..."
After Amethyst did her thing, he sat up properly.
"...Sorry again..." he muttered to her. "I'll make it up to you if you want..." he continued, his face visibly red.
"...How's Sienna doing...?"

"...How?" She tilted her head slightly. No sarcasm here, as the offer was made the girl was honestly intrigued how he planned to make up for making her heal his nethers.
At the question about Sienna though, she could only shrug and point to where aforementioned woman and Edelweiss now were, close to the entrance.
-----
Edelweiss just let out a relieved sigh that Sienna did recognize her.
"It's alright. He should have worn some protection, it's given during practice for a reason." She felt tempted to pat her head like to a little girl at that apology, but instead settled for just offering a reasuring smile. "You're getting better, I can assure that, even if slowly. Besides, you're not the only one who's had a confused minute... here, I'll show you."
She turned to the rest of class and clapped once to call their attention. "Whom of you suffered occasional or random bouts of panic before, at least once?" Half dozen hands raised, some more confidently than others. "For which of you the frequency of those decreased up to now?" Four hands remained in the hair. The redhead just nodded at them to continue what they were doing before and refocused her attention on Sienna. "See? Nothing to be ashamed of, no one here will judge you."
"As for leaving... well.." She pointed at where Amon lied, but was gesturing more towards the hands of the young nurse in charge of him at the moment. A soft lilac glow was being emmited from her palms, dandling down like dandelions or snowflakes falling and seeping into the patient's body.
"Do you see that light? It's why we keep the entrances locked and the curtains closed during lessons. There are anders amid the students too, and they're allowed to use magic in certain exercises, so we can't risk having the wrong people spot them during it." And lessons were technically going on still. The redhead sighed. "Sorry about that... But if you don't feel well enough to participate anymore, you can sit down by the benches and rest. Ame can keep you company if you don't want to sit alone - she's really nice, I promise - and we can get you some water or tea to calm down, or anything else if you need, until we can open the doors. Alright?"
Sienna listened patiently as Edel explained the situation. She did't seem upset that she'd just disrupted the class by any means which did calm her down some. As hands raised in response to her question nodded mutely. She wasn't alone, not that she had ever felt alone since getting out of that place. But still it helped knowing she wasn't the only one ready to bolt at any given moment.
By the time she got to explaining the door mechanism and why it couldn't open she was already fine with staying. "O-okay." She said with a slight nod. "Sorry and I... I would like to continue... though..." She glanced over at Amon briefly still feeling super bad about that. "Probably should apologize...." She muttered.
"...Honesty? I was thinking something related to food...but if you can't think of something better (and reasonable), let me know..." Amon grunted as he got up.
"Why yes, I will be using this this time..." he muttered in an annoyed tone as he went up and took the padding from the (choking) kid. On one hand, he was curious as to his predicament (he seemed to be placed on a number of Deceit spells); on the other, he could really do without the laughter, so the kid's current predicament was the next best thing, short of being punched.
"Hokey then..." he said, once he was all armored up again. "You okay, Sie? Ready for round two?" he asked with a small smile.

"Go ahead." The redhead approved with a nod and a small smile, and gingerly (pun intended) ushered Sienna back to where Amon and the other students, following right after. Though she still hoped that if Sienna at some point really feels like she's reached her limit and needs to sit down for a while she'll do so instead of forcing herself too much. Pushing oneself forward to improve was good, but only when done in moderation.
"..." Amethyst seemed to ponder that for a couple seconds, then nodded. It didn't seem like a very correlated reward, but so be it. "Some pudding sounds good." Liam still took a moment before he managed to completely stiff that choke-like laughter. What was so funny about that half-organic guy, he didn't even know, but it was hard to stop. He only (finally) did when Edelweiss came back.

Sienna nodded and allowed Edel to usher off towards Amon who was up on his feet and looked ready to go again. She was impressed but also relieved that he hadn't stayed down too long.
She'd kicked him so hard. Purely out of fear but it didn't make her feel any better about it.
"S-sorry Amon." She stuttered dipping her head down in shame.
Amon nodded and made a mental note about Amethyst's choice of snack before turning back to Sienna.
"You're fine," he said with a wave of his hand. "It was my fault for not having protective gear from the start."
"Ready when you are, " he said with a smile as he got into position.

Edelweiss gave the two (and everyone else who was still stuck or overall being slow at learning the moves) a few extra minutes for practicing, then asked Liam to fetch a very large box from the benches area. Once it had been placed at the center of the room, the redhead called everyone over again.
"Alright, that's it for now about scenarios in which both parts involved are unarmed." She opened up the box to let the contents be visible, and at first there didn't seem to be any criteria for what had been pilled inside. It was a confusing mix of umbrellas, bunches of keys, tissues, blunt blades of varying lenghts from short knives to long swords, ropes, bats, pipes, bottles, more tissues and random small objects. "Gather up again, please, so we can start the part in which either side is not. Pick one thing at a time each, and we'll first talk about what you can use it for."
Amon couldn't help but be amused at the odd assortment of objects lying in the box. True, any object in there could help them in quite the number of ways, it just depended on how to use it-
He did a quick double-take.
Oh.
It was just one of the toy swords in the box, a bit comically large, but otherwise normal. He thought he saw a much more convoluted shape, much like an oversized pocket tool.
"...So...you're going to teach us how to use pretty much anything at our disposal?" he asked, he curiosity peaked.
This gave him quite the idea...

"Both how to use and how to defend against it." The redhead nodded, then added.
Though admitedly, she was curious about what he and Sienna would pick first. Sienna in particular, as Edelweiss had a feeling this would be the girl's first time having any actual weapons training.

Sienna peered into the box of weapons. She'd been afraid it might be dangerous objects she'd be too scared to hold. Instead it was a lot of every day things. All that could be weapons but wait... tissues?
Smiling despite her earlier shaky moment she reached in for the tissues before holding it up with a laugh. "What am 8 g-going to do with this? D-dry my attackers tears a-after I've destroyed h-him and all that he h-holds dear?" She was really amused by this. Like how did this become a weapon?
"Excellent..." Amon replied, eyeing the odd weapon with greater fervor.
Though said fervor was momentarily interrupted with a funny thought.
"You could always cover your fists with the tissues as you beat them up," he couldn't help but laugh, patting Sienna's head in an endearing manner. "Much more efficient that way."
