Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"Huh? Your not imposing..." Elaine began before she was interrupted by clashing bodies. The girl calmly turned her head to look but was brought quickly back as Clair choked on her drink. The feline patted the girls back. "Easy does it. We need to go." She nodded to Lasair and then to the door. Nobody wanted to get caught up in this after all.

Elaine helped Clairee with her drink before he had a chance jump up, that was probably better. “Are you alright?” he asked her anyway. It was raining outside, he didn’t want to leave just yet. If they could get the rowdy bunch to leave, that would be preferred.

The situation was taken out of their hands when Clairee's brothers were kicked out of the pub by some redheaded woman with claws. Their frenimies snickered, till they too were tossed out. The bouncer turned her eyes and met Clairees dead on, which made her shiver and she sunk lower in her chair.
"Thanks guys, but, crisis... averted," she murmured.

"Well....that went...uh.....nicely." Elaine said watching events unfold. "Are...are your brothers always like that?" She asked staring after them very glad she didn't have siblings. Clair seemed so calm and collected and they, well, they seemed crazy. But then again they were probably drunk. Elaine was glad they hadn't been forced to evacuate themselves. She saw Clair sink down into the seat. "You ok there?"

Oh. Well that was one way to take care of a problem. “Since that’s been taken care of, shall we go back to our evening?” He didn’t know the bouncer who had saved them, but he was grateful all the same. Now the only question was what would happen next, since they seemed to be destined to have an eventful night.
Clairee let herself take a deep breath in, then take her time exhaling out before she answered. "Yea Im fine, thank you both, you're really too kind. Them? Oh, they're boys, I guess... or thats what my dad says about their energy." Her eyes settled on her glass and she realized it was empty. Had she really drunk all of that? Already? She looked up at the both of them. They look like they hardly touched their orders. She blushed.

Elaine snickered as Clairee blamed their behavior on the fact that were boys. Sounded pretty true though. Elaine chanced a glance at her drink, empty. Geez, was she immune to alcohol? For her first time she didn't seem very tipsy, Elaine would have been downright embarrassed to even think about what she would have been like. She would probably be chattering away about unicorns or something ridiculous like that. The feline let her gaze slide over to the bar again and look over the array of bottles. Certainly seemed to be a nice pastime to make liquors. There were so many! That or it paid well. Whichever. Elaine scratched the tabletop absently with her gloved finger.

“I’ll get you another drink,” he said as he stood up. He was always one to watch faces, and both Clairee and Elaine looked at the empty glass, nearly at the same time. Taking the object of their attention into one hand, he walked over to the bar and returned with two glasses.
Setting one in front of Clair, he passed the other to Elaine, not indicating whether or not he was ignoring the fact that she hadn’t wanted one earlier. “Anything fun happen lately with either of you two?” Taking a sip of his drink, he leaned back in his chair and waited for an answer.
Little did they know, Clair's first drink was virgin - since big sister had been the one to deliver it to the table. The second however - was out of Maeve's hands. And the woman was clocking out and heading to the gears and whistles for her evening gig. She took one last glance at Clair... something close to regret that she couldn't keep eyes on the younger one, but then her eyes turned hard, as they always did. If mother had wanted a big sister to babysit Clair, she would have kept Maeve around instead of leaving her in the hovel with papa. The hard-edged woman departed and they were left to themselves. Clairee accepted the new drink "Thank you," and she took another deep sip. This time she coughed. It burned a bit more than the last one. Something a little stronger than carbonation fizzing down the back of her throat.
