Open to Lasair Landevier Lupen Edelweiss Fjäril
Takes place the right after Amanesia (the same day)
He couldn’t find him. Sayvahn searched, infusing magic into his steps, but he couldn’t trace the fox’s trail— the moment lost; time, wasted as the older man had stood in that alley, regaining old memories. And when the feline finally reached the central road, any trace of the redhead was gone, leaving Sayvahn alone, and with no idea as to where his guild leader could have fled.
The barber knew Lasair wouldn’t return to MI. At least, not that day. Lasair was too smart for that. No, he would go somewhere else, but where? All that Sayvahn ever knew of him was locked behind those stone doors. Yet, someone knew of him outside. Was close to him. Was in love with him, the two, mutually in love. Oh god, was that why Lasair had made the feline forget? Because he didn’t want to cheat on the Crimson Ange? The very thought made Sayvahn want to throw up. Oh god, he was such a fool.
“What have I done?” The feline said aloud, body, bent over as he tried to regain his breath, the memories, plaguing his mind, repeating over and over, but unlike the distant past, these weren’t unwelcome. No. It was warm, with the feeling of a golden ringing, warm, against his own lips. But the older man didn’t have time to relish in the remembrance of that kiss. No, he had to find Edelweiss, because maybe, she at least, would know where the fox had disappeared to.
And, as the guild leader of CAEsAL she had to be easily reached, unlike his own leader. But where, Sayvahn didn’t know. And so he ran to the closest place he figured would know— a CAEsAL run building, and there, he was directed to a hotel apartment complex, further into the district.
“She’s on one of the upper floors.” The attendant had told him, and swiftly, Sayvahn ran toward that building, and to his only lead. He just hoped that she was there.
