Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Levi smiles softly, and he knows he played that chord well. He takes his thumb and strokes her cheek-bone before pulling himself onto his knees, dragging a single finger along the length of Caitlin's leg as he did so. He stood up and slipped his feet in his boots, tying them at the end of the bed before saying in a rather nonchalant voice. "You're walking a tightrope, Caitlin." He boasts to her as he walks to grab his hat, which he fluffs out and puts on his head before heading over to her desk with the bandanna in his hand. "And you've got no security line. You better watch for the hands of desire that haunt you, they'll drag you down....down...down." He says, his speech getting lower and slower as the sentence comes to a draw. He pops the top of Caitlin's inkwell as he dips his pinky in it, drawing the letters C.A.P.T on the bandana before recapping the liquid. He wipes his pinky off on the otherside of the bandanna which gets most of the black liquid off of his finger as he looks over at Caitlin, tying the make-shift arm band around his bicep. "Give me a reason to reach out my hand, and I'll save you. Of course, you can choose option two, and sink." He says through his teeth with were clenched around the linen. He spits the end out and smiles at the girl who looks so weak and fragile, that he could've broke her at any moment. Pirate queen. Such an odd title for this one. He thinks to himself before walking out the door, and being the nice guy he is, he leaves the sign Ikuze put up.

Cait didn't say a word or move a muscle the whole time he went about collecting himself. His words printed themselves on her mind like a tattoo. She waited until the door closed behind him before she released the breath she was holding.
"What reason do you need," she asked the emptiness.
She would love to give him one, but she didn't know what it would take to make him reach out his hand to her and catch her. But one thing was for sure... She wasn't about to fall, she was already falling, and it terrified her. What if he walked away? How much pain was she in for, how much was she about to suffer?
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
