Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Levi raises his arms to block the boots coming at him and if this is a taste of what to come, he hopes she never finds any skillets. The boots bounce off of his arms, and he collects them before placing them on the ground, which leads him to undoing his as well. He looks over at Caitlin, a kitten licking her wounds in the corner. He smiles softly and stands up before re-approaching the bed on his hands and needs, crawling over to her, he looks her up and down with an ever-growing grin as he places his hands on each side of her body, her knees practically at his chest. "Do you mind relaxing? It'll make this easier." He whispers, with a sly look attached to his face.

Caitlin eyed him wearily as he put her shoes down and removed his own. What was he think--- then he crawled across the bed and her heart lept into her throat. He had her cornered on her own bed, and he was giving her that devilish grin. She could feel each shallow breath flit out of her lungs like escaping butterflies and she tried not to let it show. "Makes these what easier?" She whispered to him, doubt and curiosity warring with each other in her voice and expression.
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
She looks cute. Looks like dinner. Yep, that made him bite his cheek to keep from laughing. He raised his hand, tapping the side of her thigh before dragging his fingertip up her leg to her knee. "If you move this, I'll show. You just need to let me in between your legs." He says as his eyes trace from hers down to her waist. "You'll enjoy it, trust me." He whispers with a soft tone.

The blood drained from her face, then it blossomed back again ten fold. She must have been red from her hairline to her breast. The touch of his fingers tracing along the side of her leg to her kneecap made her want to unclip her skirt from her garter-belt and pull the fabric up and over her knees so she could hide her skin from him. The seductive tone of his voice melted her insides and a really really big part of her wanted to agree to anything he said. Caitlin had been faced with smooth talkers before, but none she really liked. She already liked Levi, which made what he was doing to her much more effective.
"I don't know, Levi. The last time I exposed the inside of my thigh to you, you left a stinging gash in it," she licked her lips. Her throat was dry, and the more her eyes danced over Levi and collected information about every minuet detail about him, the less control she seemed to have over her senses. He was so closed to her with his hand on her knee and his chest looming over her legs, patiently waiting for her to do as he asked and part for him.... She didn't, instead she pushed her knees out against his chest, trying to force some space between his upper body and hers. She couldn't take being close enough to him to kiss him. It was making it too difficult for her to think.

The thief girl muttered under her breath as she came onto the ship. Some of the captains of the other vessels had come back from a raid and had decided that she looked like a messenger. She went to Caitlins cabin and went straight on inside without knocking, since at this point she figured ask for forgiveness later, and the captains had made it sound sort of urgent that she be notified they were back and with what booty. "Hey Baroness, the Sunriser and the Defiant wanted to let you know that that's them back from the south... seas... and..." Ikuze trailed off as she took in the scene in front of her. She blinked for a bit before facepalming. "Put a sign up or something!" she said, shaking her head a little, thanking her stars that she'd grown up in a brothel so scenes like this were pretty much the norm for her.
"I don't know, Levi. The last time I exposed the inside of my thigh to you, you left a stinging gash in it." She spoke out against his actions, which made him pause for a moment as he ran a hand through his hair, each finger creating a split between hairs as he drug them threw. He smiles at Caitlin as she uses her knees to push his chest away, which he allows as he poses on his knees, smiling at her as his hand runs the length under her thigh, and each digit passing over her calf, dancing their way to her ankle before they wrapped around it, suspending her leg in the air as Levi brings his tongue to the arch of her foot, leaving a trail of warm saliva...AND THEN THE DOOR OPENS, and his eyes look over to the way, his tongue still out on Caitlin's foot. Great, the blue-haired siren. He smiles and drags his tongue a bit farther up, kissing the side of her foot.
"Put a sign up or something!" Ikuze calls out at the two, and Levi doesn't miss a beat.
"Come on knock, or did you hear the moans and wanna join in?" He says, shooting Ikuze narrowed eyes, hidden under his lashes.

little waves of pinpricks raced up her nervous system as he trailed his hand on the sensitive underside of her thigh, dragging it down her calf, leaning back as he extending her leg (which was not what she meant when she wanted more space between them) and Heaven Forbid - drew a line on the inner arch of her foot with his tongue!! If that wasn't shock wave enough - Ikuze entered the room at just that moment and saw everything.
"Wait just... What?" Caitlin panicked, her mind reeling and trying to figure out what was going on. "Put up a?... No, you knock next time. No wait, don't knock, come in and interrupt this as many times as you, wait no, this wont be happening again, Levi! Ikuze Shut the door right now," She spout off. With her free foot she pushed off Levi's chest and pulled her other foot free of his hands. Caitlin jumped off the bed this time and balled her fists at her side. "Sunriser and Defiant want what now?" She said, trying to conduct business like she wasn't just being seduced in her own bed.

"Oh please, you couldn't pay me enough to join in with you." she remarked, rolling her eyes before she shut the door behind her after Caitlin had finished rambling. "Anyways, the Sunrisers back with a couple tons of sugar, lifted from that prick kings ships, the one who tried to court the Queen a little while back, as well as about five kilos of various spices." listed off Ikuze as she recalled what the captain of that ship had said to her. "Then there's the Defiant which has returned with several sacks of gemstones, rubies, sapphires, diamonds, and some other stones I can't remember the names of. Oh, and has got themselves one of the King's "privateers" in their brig after the bastard tried to torch their ship in the night." she said as she leaned up against the wall.
"According to both of them, the King's put out a few more ships than he usually would... not all flying his colours mind, but apparently they recognised by the boat design or something like that. And they've been going after our Queen's traders." the thief said before putting on a faux stereotypical fancy noble voice. "But of course he just puts it down to pirates in his waters and swears up and down he's working on a solution." Ikuze said before dropping the voice. "The bloke in the brig was very forthcoming with info when the captain threatened his balls."
Levi snickers as he falls back onto his own feet, once again running a hand through his hair as Caitlin tumbles over her own feet to get a good standing on the floor. He rests his forearm on the top of his head, showing underarm as he watches the two woman converse, and by the two woman, I mean Caitlin's rear with hungry, and then his eyes narrow and shift to Ikuze. What a pain.. He thinks to himself, but showing nothing but a smile on his face. He lays down on his side, propping his head up with a hand. He lets one knee rest against the sheets and the other one raise into the air, the leg ontop resting it's foot on the bottom's ankle. He places his wrist ontop of his knee and just whistles a soft tune to himself as he passes the time.

"Oh." Cait lets out a breath after the data purge Ikuze just laid on her. For a moment she forgot about the man in her bed and passed on the orders she would normally give to Ikuze. "Tell Giselle she's welcome to do whatever she pleases with the privateer. And if you could, pass on the word to the other two airships. They have a better shot of spotting these sea pirates at a distance than the ships actually on the water. Thank you Ikuze, that's really good information to know. Perhaps you can help me out with spying on some of these rival pirates later?" The girl was technically a sticky-fingers, not a brigand, but she'd done well on Rava's trial so it wouldn't hurt to bring her onboard again.

"Gotcha. Although I dread to think what she's gonna do to him... the rumours I hear about that captain..." shuddered Ikuze before she pursed her lips a little as she thought about Caitlins request. "I'll see what I can do. Grand-father's been acting a little clingy lately... took me twice as long today to slip Linda. I don't know how you manage it." the thief sighed as if in exhaustion. She turned her attention to Levi for a moment before looking at her boss. "So... anything else, or do I leave you two in peace?" she offered. "And hey, about that little thing with the mast and stuff? Guess I gotta say sorry. You were being just a little too pervy." shrugged Ikuze.

"Boy do I know it," Caitlin muttered after Levi was accused of - and admitted to being pervy, then she blushed again because she hadn't meant to say so out loud. "Um.. No I'm fine thanks, we were just finishing... up..." Caitlin tried to lie nonchalantly. It wasn't working for her. To try and make it more believable she went behind her desk and sat down all prim and proper. "I understand if you can't find the time to escape the civilities. I know the feeling myself, but you find ways to work the system at home, over time," she promised.

"Alright. I'll go tell Giselle she can play with him to her hearts content." said Ikuze as she opened the door a little. "And Baroness... thanks. I'll see if I can't get him to loosen up a little... although not sure how that'll go. I'm still arguing against the bloody torture devices everyone seems to wear. I swear if I keep wearing that thing, I'm going to go down several sizes... and its a pain as it is to snatch clothes my size." she cursed before giving a faux curtsey and leaving the cabin. After she closed the door she looked around for a scrap bit of paper and charcoal before scribbling down a very rough "Do Not Disturb" sign and then stabbing it onto the door handle. With that out of the way, she made her way back to the Defiant and her captain to break the bad news for the privateer.
Levi switches positions as he lays on his stomach, folding his fingers together as he lays his chin on them, keeping his head up with the elbows supporting him, his legs curled towards his back in a form of a stinger of a scorpion, or such. He smiles over at Caitlin as Ikuze leaves. "Are you ready to play now? Grab the rope." He calls out as the blue-haired girl closes the door, and after she does he rolls over to his side and taps the empty part of the bed. "Coming back to bed?" He drags it out with a savory tone of voice.
