"Creme horns. And I'd say the little bakery where Stephen buys all of his doughnuts, but since I've never been there personally we may just have to settle for the Townhouse." Elaine turned them gently in the direction they needed to be going. "Pay attention O-Lost-One. You might want to remember this just in case." The girl winked at the last bit. Creme horns here they come. Elaine slowed down in front of a peculiar building and looked longingly into the windows. "Oh, it smells wonderful!" She said smiling as she released Keefe and went to open the door. "Come on in!" She encouraged the boy behind her. Cas took his place outside the door quietly, holding up his chew toy like a prize and he dared anyone to come close. He flicked his ears as they entered.
The Townhouse was a cozy little bakery with a large handing wooden sign out front and it was mostly colored in tints of yellow and green. The theme was very rustic, much like the girls favorite restaurant. She had a thing for the style. A large rusted metal fence-like setup, adorned with cogs and many other trinkets, resided under the bar area as decoration. A glass window case displayed beautiful cakes and delicious pastries. All different styles and designs. It was wonderfully colorful in here. One of the reasons the girl tended to like it so much. Chalkboards were arranged on the wall behind the counter listing the many different desserts and the pricing for such treats. A few more customers were inside. Some waiting, others ordering, and a few groups were sitting around. "Welcome!" Called a man from behind the register. "I'll be with you in a moment."
"Check it out!" Elaine said after nodding to the man to assure him that she heard. A three tier cake, covered in lovely rosy pink and red flowers and a soft lavender fondant bow, sat in a special place beside the display. Only as quickly as the girl had become fascinated with it she then became more interested in finding the creme horns her heart, and stomach, were calling for.
