Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"Alright then! It's a deal!" Keefe said with a smile on his face as the dog raised his paw up. "I think we can both benefit from that." He added with yet another light smile. Turning some he lost his smile as Elaine asked about looking for art, "I have no idea... It seems like all the goods stuff has already been taken... And I don't have enough money right now to do anything else since my art collector isn't coming until the end of the week. Meaning no money until then..." Keefe said with a sigh as he rubbed the back of his head. Right now defiantly wasn't his time...

Cas crouched to the ground and put his paws over his eyes, he removed them to shoot a glare at the girl. Elaine just grinned before looking away to listen to Keefe. She smirked walking up to him. "You poor thing." Pun intended. "Want to go for a walk with me?" She asked holding a hand out. Cas jumped up with his lizard in his mouth and trotted in circles. He was ready to go, despite the recent development of the fact that he had to....share....Elaine.

Smiling some Keefe came back to reality as Elaine asked him to go for a walk with her, he needed that right now. "Sure." Keefe said with a smile as he took the girls hand and began to walk with her, smiling slightly at the dog and his eagerness to go. "Well what have you been up to lately?" Keefe asked as he swung his hand some, "After all I did tell you all about my week after all." He added with a smile.

"Not much." Elaine replied swinging their hands a little. "Between working at the Curio shop now and holing myself up at home to work for a few hours, I haven't been out much either." The girls shoulders dropped tiredly. Her eyes lost their spark for a moment as much of what she had happened recently caught up with her. It had been hard trying to keep an eye out on the streets and help keep up with things at home. Plus the recent curfew didn't make it any easier. Elaine watched as Cas cantered ahead and smiled lightly to herself. Didn't she come out today to forget most of that? Pushing it behind her the girl smiled brighter. "I got to see Zona and meet a few new people! That was exciting! I'm always in the mood to meet someone new. Or someone I already know." Elaine smirked up at Keefe scrunching her nose up cheekily.

"Wow, well it sounds like you've been busy then." Keefe said with a light smile as he too swung the hand that held Elaine's. "Well then I guess its a good thing that we both ran into one another. Seems like we both needed a break." He said with yet another smile as he watched the dog in front of the two of them, he could get used to that dog, as long as he stayed like this and didn't decide to try and go after Keefe's throat at some point.

"You would not even begin to believe how busy..." The girl mumbled quietly under her breath. "Your right. I want a place to sit and either do nothing or do everything, you know? Like I have some free time and don't know what to do with it." Elaine thought for a moment. "What about a dance?" The feline inquired, almost sincere, until a large, playful grin spread out across her face. Cats don't dance. "Just kidding. Anyways, what shall we make of this fine day off hmm?" The green eyed girl glanced sideways at Keefe thinking. Cas meanwhile brought his lizard back to the two and wanted Elaine yo throw it. He voiced his want by shuffling near her feet and making soft, husky barks. The girl reached down and took the toy from him and she, aiming high, threw it ahead of them. "Fetch." Cas bolted off once again to retrieve his second best friend.

Keefe looked over to the girl with a bit of question to his face, the girl hated to dance yet she was asking to? Well he was all for that. Just as he was about to respond Elaine threw the 'just kidding' back at him, so much for the dancing... "Well I could have gone for that, last time it was rather fun." Keefe said with a smile as he watched a lizard go flying across the sky. Looking up some Keefe began to think about what they should do, it should be inexpensive yet fun, and probably dog friendly since this guy seemed to be tagging along with them, "What if we stop by the market place, get a few things to eat and then head over to the park? Have like a small picnic." He said with a small smile.

"And rather terrifying." Elaine shot back with a smile. She watched him think for a moment, finding the little blue strand of hair he had listed under interesting in her mind. "A picnic sounds great. We can get some fruit if you like, or just a box of sweets. Nobody said we had to eat lunch first." The girl suggested pulling her shoulders up in a playful shrug. Her attention was dragged away as Cas came back with his lizard. She took it again and he stood there attentively, a very pink tongue lolling out of his jaws. "Good boy. Want to go again?" The dog shuffled backwards as quickly as he could to keep up with their forward pace. Elaine threw the toy again, leaving her other hand in Keefe's, laughing as Cas scampered off to go get it. For such a large, ferocious looking dog he had the mindset of a one year old puppy sometimes. Sure he could be moody, and sassy, and downright mean, but his good qualities outweighed his bad. She walked on in silence for a moment just enjoying herself. "By the way when we get to the park you are staying far away from that fountain."

Keefe smiled as the dog went running again. Turning some Keefe smiled and laughed some as the girl mentioned the fountain, thought it was fun last time the ending result wasn't, "I think I'll be sitting at a tree, on the other side of the park, far away from that fountain." He said with a light smile as the two began to make their way to the market place. The sweets Elaine had mentioned sounded good to him, after all who really needed lunch? "So what kind of sweets do you want? I'm good with anything really, though I'm not big on chocolate..." He said somewhat shamefully, everyone seemed to get mad at him for not liking the stuff.
Post by Elaine Anncroft on Sept 21, 2015 0:25:18 GMT
Elaine nodded in agreement. "Good. No more fountains for you." She walked alongside him thinking about her favorite treats before casting a sideways glance at him. "You don't like chocolate? And I thought I was weird!" Elaine cried before nudging him with her shoulder gently. "That's fine, we can get almost anything. Creme Horns are delicious though. One of my favorites." Elaine squeed happily. Cas brought back his lizard and refused to give it back, he just trotted quietly at their side. Opposite of Keefe.

Keefe smiled some as Elaine nudged him, "I get that a lot..." He said with a smile, rubbing the back of his neck some with his free hand. He smiled some as the girl changed the subject, "I think I've only had that once. I was younger when I had it so I don't remember it all that much." Keefe said as he looked at the dog slightly, wondering what all they would be getting to bring with.

"Only once?!" Elaine turned to look at him. "Oh no. No, no, no, that is not acceptable." She shook her head. "My boyfriend is not going to say he only had one and not remember." Turning slightly Elaine released his hand to snake her arm around his waist and pull his arm over her shoulder. "Don't you ever go on a sweets rampage?" She asked matching her step with his. It seemed a commonplace for entertainers to love anything practically oozing with sugar. For Jasper it was an ice cream monstrosity, and her boss Edel had a major thing for doughnuts. It was a wonder she wasn't married to them yet. Stephen seemed to like doughnuts as well, but Elaine was slowly beginning to think that he didn't buy those for himself. And the feline herself enjoyed creme horns. Those fantastic flaky crusts and sticky sweet cream! She could just hear them calling now.

Keefe smiled as the girl wrapped her arm around him, causing his arm to fall onto her shoulder. Grabbing it slightly he pulled her in a bit closer, or well close enough so that the two could still walk with ease. His smile faded slightly as she asked him about going on a sweet rampage, "I, Umm... Well..." He stuttered some before taking his free hand and rubbing the back of his neck, "No. No I haven't... I was never really allowed to have sweets when I younger so I always enjoyed having fruit... Since it was naturally sweet and that's what I got in the place of candies and sweets, well... That's not only why I love fruits, but they are also what I always thought were sweets..." Keefe said somewhat shamefully. It's not like he never had sweets and what not, but for him he always got fruit in its place, besides it was healthier for him as well.

Elaine thought for a moment about his explanation. Her eyes skimming the area around them. She finally turned to him. "Hey, no harm in a healthy upbringing. Fruits as sweets isn't such a bad idea actually." He sounded ashamed of it, but there was no reason to feel so. He didn't need to worry, it made him special in his own way. Elaine personally had no objection with anything that anyone did differently than her most of the time. "Your mother must be brilliant. But lets remedy that lack of sweets for a day shall we?" She teased chuckling to herself.

He smiled some at the fact that Elaine thought it was a good idea, most people either thought it was sad that he never had sweets or that it was weird that he didn't go asking for them 24/7. "I think I can handle one day of it." He added with another smiled as he looked around some, realizing they were making their way to the merchants district, after all that place did have the most food in the city. "So what place has the best sweets and... something, something horns..." He added the last part under his breath some.
