Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

With the initial bets were made, Addison swept his hand in to gather the chips to center them into a pile then took up the deck of cards to discard two then flipped three over in the center for all to see. The first card was a four of clubs, the second card was a 2 of hearts, the third and last card revealed was a five of spades. "Alright, beginning with the man with the bright hair, would you like to check, bet, or fold? From him, we will move onto the other gent then back to the lass."

The red head directed his eyes to the new cards, practically being glued to them as they were revealed. His eyes lingered on them a moment longer after they were revealed before he reached for about a third of his chips and pushed them forward. “I’m in,” he said and all the while the same never wavering from his face.
Taking the time to think about it for a moment Uriah looked at the hand he was dealt, there wasn't anything special about it just a jack of clubs and seven of hearts. What trouble it was in general and being dealt such a hand didn't bring fourth any sort of excitement but with a simple sigh he pushed the cards in front of him before the dealer and spoke out. "I'm out."

Danny looked at Lasair curiously, then glanced down to her own cards. She wasn't really rich enough to go blowing through money like it was candy, so pushed her cards towards the dealer. "I'm out."

To remain professional, Addison did not show he was surprised that the round was already over but he was. He had figured people usually waited until the second round but he could not blame them either when one of them shoves in a third of their pile. Scooping up the cards from the other, he includes his own and declares, "The house will fold as well," before pushing the pile toward Lasair. "Place your buy ins forward," he'd say after while shuffling the deck then dealt each two cards.

The red head blinked. Had that really worked? And so well to? He allowed himself a chuckle, tossing the pair of nines towards the dealers as he pulled the money forward. “I. Hm. Not sure what I should say about this.” It wasn’t a big pile of winnings, but so it went. He glanced around the table, trying to gauge the look on everyone’s faces.
Placing his bet forward Uriah looked at the other occupants of the table and just found it strange everyone had folded right away but this hand seemed to be a little more fruitful overall with a pair of three's. "Well not yet at least huh? Mayhaps fortunes will turn around rather quickly." His eyebrow raised up as a gesture to Lasair and perhaps a possible ploy to use later.
