Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"That can be done. I wasn't intending to bring non-members of CAEsAL to actual meetings anyway." Edelweiss relented. Although she let out a soundless wince at Lasair's statement that he at least now knew 'what to expect beneath the surface'; the redhead gal didn't think Ikuze was a bad person usually, but so freshly after that pretty bad first impression she aldo didn't think she'd be able to change Lasair's opinion on the blue-haired girl. Poor Caitlin. Edelweiss could only hope if the BoR ever has any diplomatic with MI then Cait wouldn't be bringing Ikuze along, lest Lasair would (either metaphorically or literally) flip a table.
"But bloodloss is an actual medical condition. Being mean is always bad, but even guys can turn delirious too if lose a lot of blood." Amber whispered. "That's why I'm scared of growing up..."
"Oh well..." As the white paint on Amber dried and they could fix her dress better again, Edelweiss picked her up and restarted walking. "How about a snack and something to drink to compensate for the trouble? My treat this time."
Meanwhile that, Ikuze was being very effective on making the kids love her, or at least appease them in the case of those who were still upset about the flying thing. They might meet again on the way as the two groups move.

Lasair replied to the winged girl first this time, satisfied with Edel’s answer. “Hopefully they don’t lose that much blood. And why are you scared of growing up? You get to do all sorts of fun things that kids can’t do.”
At the mention of a snack, he nodded. He was smiling a bit as he readjusted to his normal self and not the one that was upset at the misuse of magic. “Something to munch on sounds nice. Where did you have in mind?”

"Ever heard of Lockberry?" She asked, then in case of a negative answer continued: "It's a pub nearby the Central Theater, almost a small restaurant actually. I quite like their apetizers and they have non-alcoholic stuff too, so there should be something for Amber as well."
Meanwhile Amber was just mentally browsing her list why becoming an adult would suck. "Bills to pay, worrying about life, dealing with perverts, too heavy to be carried, cramps and bleeding every month, I won't look as cute..."
The blue-haired girl had the group singing the Do Ray Me song again as they walked, almost looking like a school group out on a field trip. The excuse she gave was that they could get the practice of what Miss Edel and her friends do up on stage so they can't get breathless that easily from all the dancing. That and it would help out with any other things they could do as well. The thief didn't say specifically what those other things were, but she figured that the ones who could fly would need the little bit of extra encouragement.
Speaking of encouragement, she could see the streak of red hair up ahead, along with the grumpy pants that could maybe rival Stephen with his mood. "Why don't you all go show Miss Edel what you all got eh?" she said to the children, watching them all flock towards her to show off the ice-cream they'd all received... at least those who still had ice cream left in their cones. Meanwhile Ikuze went up towards Lasair, and offered him the box with the multiple flavours. "Sorry about earlier. Gut reaction with guys is to kinda screw with them. Survival habit..." she said, twirling one finger to indicate her magic. She wasn't about to say it out loud on the street and all that. She ain't stupid. "Wasn't sure what flavour you liked... so, kinda got one of each..." said Ikuze as she held up the box for Lasair. "Ain't daft enough to think this completely smooths things over..."

Upon hearing Edel’s question Lasair scratched his head, trying to remember the place. Her explanation cleared it up instantly. “Oh I remember the place. It’s pretty nice there.”
A moment later the sound of running feet could be heard as all the little winged children appeared, and all flocking to Edelweiss. Lasair smiled, happy to see them all again, but was slightly less happy when their teacher appeared. She carried a box of ice cream, which was already kind of melty given the summer sun, and offered him one.
He grabbed Edel and pulled her over through the kids. “As much as I appreciate your kind offer,” he started saying to Ikuze, smiling just a little bit. “I wouldn’t dare take a treat when these two lovely ladies haven’t had one.” He gestured for both Amber and Edelweiss to have one. “Then I can accept one without a quarrel.” Lasair was letting it go, for now at least. It helped to have some support.

The children used Tackle. It was super effective. And with as many clinging to her now, it was hard for Edelweiss to not fall down while still holding Amber. Apparently while the kids were learning music Ikuze was learning to unleash the minions.
But the redhead lass wasn't about to refuse the icecream offering, and as Lasair brought them forth to choose first she let Amber go ahead and snatch the strawberry icecream cone (at the speed a thristy man in a desert rushes towards water), then chose the mint with chocolate crisps cone for herself.

Ikuze lowered the box to the right height so the little girl, Amber she thought her name was, could get a good view of them before she took the strawberry flavour, then brought it up for Edel who picked the mind and chocolatey one. The blue haired thief then held the box over for Lasair to make his choice. "Better hurry, or it'll be more cream than ice." she said with a slight chuckle.

Glancing throughout the box, he reached for the regular chocolate flavor. It’d been a while since he had ice cream, so he began eating the treat quickly to catch up with how it was melting. “Thank you,” was all he said to the blue haired girl. Now he wondered what she was going to do with the flavors that were left.
The thief nodded at his thanks before looking into the box of remaining ice-cream flavours... as well as the expectant eyes of all the little ones. "Hmm. What to do, what to do..." she said playfully, tapping her chin. Ikuze gave a smirk as she knelt down low for the children before they all gathered around. "Well, we can't just let this go to waste eh?" she said looking at the slowly forming pools of ice cream in the box. "Everyone dip their cones into their favourite flavour." said the blue haired girl, the children looking at her bemusedly before doing as they were told.
She smirked at the group before letting out a slow breath over the entire bunch of cones, in particular the melted ice-cream they were now each sitting in. "Alright, now pick out your cones." said Ikuze, each child doing so to discover that the ice-cream had been frozen onto, and slightly inside, their cones! She gave the kids a little wink. "Enjoy~" she said in a little sing-song voice, standing up and looking at Lasair. "What? It was melting and wouldn't be fair to try and scoop it into a single lump... or even pool it together. Any kinda idea what that'd taste like all them flavours mixed together?" asked Ikuze, pulling a face as she imagined the taste.

"It'd taste like sugar and sadness, probably." Edelweiss shrugged. "I sometimes wonder how you don't run out of daily casts with how freely you use it though..."
