Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

It seemed like Zona was falling asleep now, finally running out of energy from her outburst. He wasn’t sure who she had been talking about, but it probably wasn’t something to ask her about. A moment later he scooped Zona up in his arms and began the walk back to her house. Thankfully he still remembered it from that one night several months ago. Getting her home to sleep would be best for her.
Amon never really liked crowds; they were either too noisy, too smelly, and upon occasion, too magical, causing his arm to twitch uncomfortably. He should have learned that lesson during...well...since the entirety of the last year. He didn't think of even coming this year, if it weren't for the fact that Abby and Abe kicked him out.
"I promised your mother that I would make sure that you socialize more," Abby had said.
"Maybe that lass you had you couldn't keep your eye off of might be there," Abe had teased.
"Even better. So out with you. And don't return until you had fun," Abby said before officially kicking him out.
"...Well...Abe could be right I guess," Amon said to himself as he scanned the crowd, hoping to catch a glimpse of Edelweiss Fjäril. He was just walking through the crowd when he noticed someone a little too melancholic (well...more than he was) for the festivities.
"Why hello Caitlin," he said as he walked up to the Baroness, arm twitching. (Been a year since I officially started posting, and to celebrate, I...copy and pasted the first couple of lines from one of my first ever posts )

Clancy chuckled at Iaco's reaction to the time. A small smile played on his face as he answered "Oh, ya know, borin' without ya." With a bashful shrug, he flopped on the edge of Iaco's bed. Iaco didn't need to know the whole truth. Today was not a time to dwell on the negative. It was a joyous day in which he would shower Iaco with anything he wanted. Sure, he did this most the time, but today was the day that he could really get away with it. With a wink, he presented the gifts he had been hiding. A bouquet of tea and pink roses along with the box of chocolates were held out as offerings to the other gentleman. "Gotcha sumthin'! I was gonna buy ya red roses but ah saw these ones an' I couldn't help maself. Hope ya like 'em! Ooo! An' I got ya yer favorite: white chocolates!" he chirped, a proud grin on his face. Yep, he had done pretty well on these gifts.
Iacomus' eyes lit up as he was presented with Valentine's gifts, beautiful pink roses and his favorite candies. "Why, Clancy, I don't know what to say!" The smile remained on his lips, but did so in order to hide the fact that he had neglected to get a present for the boy. Clancy, he had to admit, had slipped his mind for the past while. After a while long of - he had to admit - constant worry that Clancy may not want to sustain their relationship after the last night out, other things had consumed his mind and he had completely forgotten about Valentine's day, as was apparent by his failure to make sure he woke up at a decent time. "Tell you what, Clancy," Iacomus said as his smile grew into his usual smirk "I'm going to get ready to go out, but once I finish, I'll give you your gift." Regardless of the gunsmith's response, he quickly went through his closet, grabbing red versions of the clothes in his usual outfit that were otherwise blue, and went into the bathroom to change.
Once he had emerged in his Valentine's-day themed garb, he made his way over to Clancy and grabbed his chin, pulling the shorter man's face up towards his. "And here is my gift to you." With his yellow eyes half closed and looking down on his lover, he kissed him on the lips.
"Happy Festival of Hearts, my love." he murmured, tranquil and happy.

Zona was drifting in and out of consciousness, so naturally she had no idea what was going on, all she knew was that she was moving, As for how she was moving she had no clue. Perhaps her body knew what it was doing and was going home on it's own, maybe some stranger had scooped her up and was taking her off to who knows where to do who knows what, or maybe Lasair was helping her now, she remembered he was there before she blacked out but who knows, she could have just been imagining that.

"I know how to get there!" Keefe said as he felt his manhood being questioned, "I just needed some time to get to know where everything was and is. I know exactly how to get there!" And for once he actually did rounding the corner they weaved in and out of the crowd, getting closer and closer to their destination. "Ok." Keefe stopped and stepped behind the girl for a moment, "You said you wanted it a surprise so I'm going to make it that way." Just then he lifted his hands up and over Elaine's head and lowered them right in front of her eyes so she couldn't see anything. "We are going to walk slow so we don't hit anything ok." Keefe asked/told knowing it was better to go slow than fast and right now he needed to concentrate on getting to the place they were going.
Eryn tilted her head to the side like a puppy as Stephen asked her to go... somewhere?, Eryn didn't know why or what they where doing but they seemed to want to do something, she nodded, "ok , ill come back later Stephen" she said with a smile as she walked off to continue to adventure the fun day of fun.
(who to meet next for Eryn?)

The girl couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. She raised her hands up in surrender. After coming around a corner Keefe backed up behind her out of view. "Wha..." He put his hands down in front of her eyes. "Ok." She said in response instinctively closing her eyes. Blinded and unsure of exactly where they were going Elaine took cautious steps. At first she shied away from anything that brushed against her like a deer. Gradually she began to stop worrying about what was around her and began to trust Keefe. She was eager to see where they were going. "Do you have any hints as to where we are headed?" She asked inquisitively.

Caitlin was pulled out of her self induced misery by a familiar voice. She turned and faced the current leader of Mingo's Merchanics, deservedly so. She never got to know Amon very well, but everything he'd done with the guild since Will left had revived the merchants district and breathed new life into a stale block of cobblestone streets. She smiled at the man, her eyes wandering over his mechanical parts. More gears than flesh on one of his appendages. She made sure to lean toward the other side, angling her body away from the tinkering parts as naturally as possible.
"Good to see you Master Mechanic," she gave him the old title, now that the former master mechanic was six feet under. "Enjoying the evening?" She asked, sociably.
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin

"Eh...I don't know about enjoying it, so much as waiting for time to pass," he replied, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorta got kicked out by the Dolls, and I know the darn things are keeping track of how long it takes to get here and back. What about you? You holding up okay after...recent events..." he said, trying to keep up the conversation. He had heard about the aftermath of Jackson's arrest, and needless to say: it wasn't pretty.

As they walked Keefe noticed Elaine gradually become more trusting in him that he wouldn't have her run into anything, and with that they made it to their destination in no time. Just before Keefe was about to take his hands off of Elaine's eyes she asked a question, a question that made Keefe thing of a perfect game to play before he removed his hands. "Oh you want a hint? Ok I'll give you 3 hints, but in exchange, I'm not removing my hands from your eyes until you guess where we are!" Keefe said with excitement in his voice, "Ok first hint, it is something in a very musical and rather artistic district." Keefe paused as he waited to hear her answer or to hear if she wanted the next hint.

They got the wrong guy... she wanted to say, but she just pressed her lips together in a firm line. Her word verses the new commander of the EIRALs wasn't going to convince anyone. But she knew that he was a usurper, that he had Skye thrown in jail so he could take his job. Jackson got away Scott free.... at least he hadn't killed anyone since then. Perhaps those damned assassins got to him after his little escapade at the old merchants funeral. "I healed up well enough, though being left on bedrest for a full week was utterly dreadful and tiresome. I got bored quicker than I thought possible." Then she remembered what else he'd said and her eyes lit up. "Did they really kick you out? Aren't you supposed to be in charge of them, not the other way around?" She was always curious about clockwork dolls. They couldn't have them in her house for obvious reasons.. or well - not so obvious but reasons none-the-less. Her mother always blamed superstition and paranoia for not wanting the man-size copper dolls in their home. Her father finally learned the truth, and her mother died shortly afterwards so no point keeping up her lie for old times sake.
"What are they like?" Cait asked, out of curiosity.
"Ah, well, glad you're all better. As for the Dolls...dang things are more troublesome than expected, despite having no emotions at all," he said with a sigh. "It's like having siblings I never knew that I never wanted. As for why I got kicked out, apparently me mum doesn't think I get out the shop enough, and so their 'creator's creator' has higher precedence than I do. So here I am," he continued with a sheepish smile. "Plus..."
He did a quick scan of the crowd. Nope. Still no sign of her. Ah well. It couldn't hurt to continue socializing with the leader of the Rouges; not like it'd start another war or anything. "C'mon, let's find a place to sit down; better than standing in the middle of this crowd anyways," he said, absentmindedly rubbing his mechanical arm.
(Hah. Old references. )

It was a walk back to Zona’s house, but thankfully the girl wasn’t too heavy. He remembered the house well from the last time he had walked there. She breathed slowly in his arms, making Lasair smile a little every time he looked down at her. He hoped that one day she’d be able to find that family of hers. Arriving at her house, Lasair gently placed Zona on the ground and started checking her pockets, finding the key hidden in one of them. He left her for but a moment to unlock the door, and then picked her up again to carry her inside. Not wanting to snoop, he placed her on the couch and left the key on the table. “I hope you feel better,” he said aloud as he turned to head back out the door. He planned on coming back to check on her this evening, but for now what she needed to do was rest.
(I just assumed that Lasair would be able to find the key on her. If that was inaccurate just let me know and I’ll edit it.)
(ok am throwing in Rava in, just for giggles , attempt at marrying Mulevn )
it had been a good day today as Rava made her way down the streets in a flowing dress, this time it was blue since she could not 'find her old one from the remains of the bell tower, this dress she had to make an eye patch to match the colour and she decorated it the night before with silky lines and beads to make it stand out, around her wist she wore the bracelet her loved one made her for Christmas, which in tradition of her people was a symbol of engagement (engagement ring but bigger) , she wore it proudly and since the day he gave her it she had never took it off.
she hoped to find her loved one out today as she look around the festival of hearts , she hope to find him so that tonight she could purpose to him and hopefully begin her planed to be at his side , no matter what unless business happened.

Elaine smiled as she stood there. "Challenge accepted." She listened carefully to his first clue. So they hadn't left Theater District. Thinking carefully of her answer she asked, "Is it the Theater?" To her mind that was the biggest attraction. But she couldn't hear the music and laughter that usually engulfed the building. Shifting her weight to one side she stood there, gears turning in her mind, to think of where they could possibly be. Her hands reached up to twirl a piece of her hair as she thought, (A habit of hers) and her fingers lightly brushed his wrist. She stood there twisting the strand around her finger as she waited for the next hint.
