Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Stephen turned to see Ikuze take care of the rest of the hunters. It was somewhat nerve-wracking to see how easily could deceive people with just her voice. Had she ever done that to him? He could not recall. Shaking his head he ran to catch up with the group. "Thank you for politely waiting for me" he huffed in a sarcastic tone. "Did I not say I would take you to a doctor? I do not see why I even care to help you ungrateful slobs" he muttered under his breath as he turned and pointed in the direction the doctor's house was. "Come on, his office is just over there. Or by all means, stand around and let the girl bleep to death" he called softly back to them, trying to be quiet as he jogged towards the destination in front of the group.

"Oh right. Where are my manners? I should have waited back there in the cross fire with said girl bleeding to death instead of rushing her toward cover." Mulven muttered bitterly, but he wasn't in a mood to fight with some snob about manners when three men had just attacked his girl friend. well, friend, thats a girl, not girl friend like... like that.
"Nice trick back there," he said to the blue haired girl, who was clearly not human using magic like that. He stepped back from her, not out of fear but out of concern for his gear in case her aura or whatever did any damage to them. He might need them later. He shhh'd Rava's attempts at warnings and followed fancy-pants into the shadows toward his doctor friend. He didn't care what she was guilty of, or who she'd pissed off to garner this kind of man hunt, she was just one girl and didn't deserve to be stampeded down by a bunch of henchmen.

Iacomus' eyes opened wide as he felt the tip of the arrow on his back. Someone had found him... He should have been more careful... He gritted his teeth and forced a smile. He pictured the nervous and circulatory systems in his head, trying to figure out where a good place to hit would be. He only had one chance, and he was no good at combat, so with one stab, it had to be lethal... Or maybe he could sever part of the man's spine and paralyze him somehow, so that he could kill him after that... However, he had a second problem. He could tell generally where the man was based on how the arrow rested on his back. He was pretty sure it must be a crossbow, but otherwise... crap, he was running out of time. He had to act. Turning around swiftly, he grabbed the man by his collar and sent his sword in through the man's torso, severing part of the spinal chord, hoping, at least, that his aim as accurate. This man seemed to have on the same sort of mask as the corpse at his feet! Now what could this mean? (Thank you! I'm sorry if my being in the thread is too much trouble! 0^0 )

Stephen spotted the familiar building and ran up to it. He pounded the door 6 times before it was flung open. Dr. Flintlock was still fully dressed but his clothes were disheveled as if he had fallen asleep in a chair. Blinking tiredly he stepped aside, knowing exactly who had been bothering him this late without even looking. "You again?? How many times are you going to get hurt, you bloody fool! Let me guess, you were stabbed this time" huffed the tired man, stretching some. Stephen shook his head and gestured for the others to come in. "It is not I that you will be treating tonight, Doctor" he answered in a grave tone. Dr. Flintlock raised his eyebrows and looked outside. When he saw Rava, his eyes widened. "Bring her to the bed in there" he instructed Mulven, pointing to a small side room as he hurried towards a sink. "Stephen, go get the bandages in the back room. Bring that girl with you to get some towels." Stephen nodded and moved quickly to the back of the house.
"In fairness Sourpuss, it is kinda a fight situation. You take advantage of a chance to run where you can get it." shrugged the blue haired girl before noticing the man with Rava put a little distance between them. "Only half. So not too much to worry about alright?" she said with a sigh before they arrived at the doctors. She chuckled a little at the medical workers assumptions. "Regular customer are you?" she asked her betrothed with a smirk. She followed them inside but angled herself so that she could keep an eye on the entrance. "She's human doctor before you start checking for blood types. And eh, I wouldn't try using magic on her either... makes her go a little... weird. Even by Lodan standards." quickly said Ikuze, just in case they tried something.

Dr. Flintlock sniffed, frowning a little at the blue haired girl "I am a human, dear. Not an Ander. I thank you for the information though." Dr. Flintlock did not hate Anders, he just preferred not be paired with the group. Stephen came back in the room with all the supplies, shooting an annoyed look at Ikuze. He little comment had not slipped his ears. Thankfully she saw it with amusement and not suspicion. He usually came here when he was wounded from one of his assassin missions. The doctor was a fool for having stating that information of his frequent visits. He would have to have a little chat with the man once he was done.
Dr. Flintlock nodded at Stephen, taking the bandages as he set them down at the side table next to the bed. Stephen sat down in outside Rava's temporary room, scanning the surroundings for any sign of movement. It was certain to him that three of those hunters were out of the picture but there could always be more.

Mulven did as he was told and quickly stepped back to lean on the wall with his arms crossed tightly over his chest, his eyes never leaving Rava where she lay. It caught him off guard the info about Rava's humanity... not because he doubted she was human, but because he'd never thought to consider any other possibility. Ever since he met her he'd always just thought of her as this sweet innocent little girl, never once did he suspect she could be a magical trickster... not even when she stared at him like a wolf in sheeps clothing. He got chills down his spine just thinking of it. The girl very clearly had an appetite and he was some where on the back of her favorite menu. Because of that he'd spent too much time dodging her and not enough checking up on her.
"Stupid, so stupid," he berated himself. He wouldn't make that mistake again.
Ikuze kept her eyes on the entrances to the doctor's abode as she spoke. "Anyone got any ideas on what we do next? We've got who knows how many arseholes out there, all armed with bombs and crossbows after Rava... I'm almost half-tempted to go the bloody EIRAL's... speaking of our beloved guards, where the hell are they? You'd think a few explosions would grab their attentions, especially in this neighbourhood." fumed the thief-girl.
(hay dont worry Iacomus , it ok am working on getting you an unique experience from this Rp so you not left out ^u^ )
(also NPC hunter body count 4 alive , 5 dead, keep it up >u0) Rava could only hear what was going on due to her blurred vision , everything just happened too fast this night for her , this downfall from grace had hit rock bottom , near death from blood lose , her home gone as well as her stuff, lost her left eye, and being hunted from everything she had done as well as placing her friends and loved one in danger beyond there understanding. this was all her fault to even begin with...... slowly she sliped away into drakness as she fall into a deep sleep...........
(dream sequence memory )
Rava found herself sitting playing chess with her friend Duncan, it was 7 years before Lodan and they where travailing in the caravans to the far west. Duncan was per pairing to replace the old keeper at the fort as his robes could tell newly made for him as he held his book chained close to him. "so princess , i hear you nearly died again" he said joking to her "hay it was not my idea to attack them wagons , at lest the gold we stole from them miners where valuable " Rava said cocky to Duncan as she moved her queen to his king "Check" Duncan giggled " well now princess. one day you will be leading us and hopefully these mission will teach you how to pick your targets well otherwise they bite back." Rava snorted at Duncan " and with that talk is why i do solo mission." Duncan moved his pawn taking her Queen " Rava , listen well as am telling you this as a friend. one day you will be down on your last coin and even closer to death by someone or something , dont let that stop you. you may fall hard but with does not kill you will only make you stronger , you will understand the words i say sooner or later. just when the times comes just get back up, get back up and become the leader you are "suddenly everything went whited...
(Dream Ended )
Rava's eye opened and took in a fast breath , her right eye still in blur , reaching out with her undamaged arm as she weakly called out the one person she loved, she wanted to make her future, she was a leader, her bloodline from a string of leaders and now this was her turn to become one but not yet, she still had to battle death yet again, she had reason to live again and she wanted to make more reasons to live. she took on the memory and she was gonna carry her friends words to the future as they where the greatest treasure ever. "M..Mulven...where .. are y you?...I.Ikuze?" she wanted to let her feelings known to him.
outside 2 more hunters where outside , they where looking around trying to find the Bandit , however the trail ends in this area what had alot of places , they had only limited time before there window was closed , they started to knock at each place and put up more wanted posters, it was the only thing they could do , they only could hurt people in league with the target.
as Iacomus looks at the bodies , he starts to see a bag with wanted posters on it , of a woman as well as a letter with orders on it seal with a wax seal of a wolf with an arrow in its mouth.

Stephen snorted. Being a part of CAEsAL automatically made his skeptical of the EIRAL's. "I doubt we will get any help from them. It seems unrealistic that this group sent that many hunters after her so I would make a guess that there are about a handful left. Someone will just have to go out and get rid of the rest." Tonight was going to be a long night, he just knew it. Maybe he could request some assistance from some of the other CAEsALs but he had to be sure that no one caught him talking with that lot.
Dr. Flintlock had just finished treating the girls wounds when she woke up. "Ah, stay down dear. You're hurt. We don't want to reopen those wounds of yours" he instructed lightly. Stephen, having heard Rava, called out to the other two "Hey, She is requesting each of your presence."

"Hm! What is this!?" Iacomus said with mild fascination as he plucked the poster from its place. He looked it over, and the smile grew on his face once again. "Hm. It seems I have two choices here... I could try and figure out whatever this symbol on the wax seal means, and maybe figure out who these strange men are, or..." his smile grew "Or I could try and find this woman. If I were to kill her, maybe I could get a decent amount of money. Maybe." He closed his eyes "and if that is not the case, that is alright, because the best part of this bounty would be a good amount of merchandise to sell." He chuckled to himself. What a splendid evening it had been already. He had two bodies he could pillage, and would now, hopefully, gain a third. However, he would have to act fast. He figured the best choice of action at this point would be to hide the two bodies at his feet, and go in search of the woman on the poster. He did just that, dumping the bodies inside of a couple of discarded crates, and making a mental note to come and retrieve them before they lost their freshness, then set off in search of his next victim, the one on the poster, who would most likely not be missed.
Ikuze sighed before nodding in agreement with Stephen. "Aye..." she said before the adrenaline from earlier began to wear off. The thief girl went a little green in the face. "Er... you got a bucket in here doctor?" asked the blue haired girl tentatively before Flintlock directed her to the nearest one. She immediately made a dash for it and threw up. Ikuze wiped her face before shooting a look at the trio of men. "Hey... I just made two blokes kill themselves alright? First time I've done that..." she explained before emptying her stomach again into the bucket.
She stood back up and held herself still for a moment before letting out a slow breath to compose herself. "Alright... Sourpuss keep an eye on the windows please..." she asked, her voice a little hoarser from the vomiting as she went to see Rava. "Hey there..." she said, before the puppy emerged from under her shirt and made a barking noise. Ikuze blinked a bit before chuckling. "Forgot you were there little guy." She took the pup from out of her clothing and laid it next to Rava's head, where the canine immediately began to lick its owner.

Stephen just blinked in shock at Ikuze's reaction. Being an assassin, killing another person did not seem so monumental to him now. Yet here Ikuze was, distressed by the very action he committed every week. A feeling of guilt settled in his stomach. Partly because Ikuze had been put through this discomfort and partly because of the lack of emotion on his part.
She left quickly before he could help her in any way. That was Ikuze, always thinking of everyone but herself. It was annoying. "Dr. Flintlock" The man turned to the voice with a quizzical look. Stephen produced a handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to the man. "Please give Ikuze this. And tell her to sit down and rest. She will make herself sick again" he grumbled, turning to walk over to the window. He scanned the outside, looking for any movement.
It was odd using this eye at night; he was so use to using his other one which was better adapted for night watch. Unfortunately, he would not risk removing it and reveling his secret to the other those three. Ikuze already knew, if she remembered, but Mulven, Rava, and Flintlock did not. Better to keep it that way.Dr. Flintlock nodded and went back into the room. "This is for you dear. If you with to wash up there is a sink over in the room behind this one" the doctor stated in a kind but tired voice.

Mulven pushed off the wall and went dutifully to Rava's side. He knelt next to the surface she was laid on and absently stroked the puppy dispensed close to her. "Try and rest, there's a doctor here and he's going to take care of you so try not to worry so much. The rest of us will keep an eye out for those thugs. Whatever they want, we wont let them near you. That's a promise." He looked down at her, blood caked on her face. Peaking out beneath that were bruises underneath her skin. He wondered if she could even feel her face. Carefully he reached forward and brushed a thumb across her cheek. He tried to wipe away some of the flakes of blood to see how much damage was there. "I'm sorry they did this to you," he whispered, though he didn't really know who was responsible. "When you're feeling better you can come home with me, I'll make sure no one bothers you, I wont even bother you. Tomorrow I'll go back to your place and see if I can salvage anything. Whatever is left I'll get it for you." He hoped that would make her feel a little better.

Iacomus stared at the poster as he walked at a fast pace, the heels of his shoes clinking on the bricks below as he took his quick steps. He didn't recognize the woman. She seemed to be in a rouge's outfit in the picture, so maybe she could be found at the ports... But if that was the case, why were the masked men who seemed to be tracking her down around here? The first one he found was laying dead in a cafe, and he assumed that it must have been the very woman he was tracking who had killed him. That meant one of two two things; Either she was at the cafe getting a meal, or she was employed there. Both of them seemed rather unlikely, however, and Iacomus sighed. He was getting nowhere. Suddenly an idea sparked in his mind, and he quickly brought out the sealed letter. The woman's other apprehendors were given information in this note, he assumed, about the target in question. He may be able to get some information out of this. He leaned against the side of the nearest building, which, he noted, seemed to be the clinic that he had ran to to get the doctor to help Clancy and that godforsaken winged-ander girl, Zona, when they had gotten hurt in that fight. In case anything like that ever happened again, he decided that he should probably work on brushing up on his skills, but he brushed that notion aside, trying to concentrate on the topic at hand. He opened the letter, being careful not to hurt the seal so that maybe he could find whatever group this was later, and started to read what was on the page.
