Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Eryn continues the struggle and wiggle as hard as she can as the word the weird person said did not do anything to effect her at all, it was amazing how still she had so much strength to move for a child even after being thrown to the ground and pinned which could have done more damage to her. sure she was tired but she was stubborn and did not want to give up on getting free and not dieing. (yeah , its the panic that making her not hear everyone , which a swift punch to the noggin to put her to sleep will cure.)

"I would rather not lose my sense of smell but I might just lose my taste buds as well..." he huffed back unhappily. The kid was still struggling; the more she struggled the angrier the noble got. She was rubbing more and more of her filth on him! The disgusting little- With an aggravated growl, he smashed his head against the kids as he simultaneously pressed a pressure point on her wrist, effectively knocking her out. This was good an all but that little move gave his already aching/bleeding head even worse pain. He let loose a sting of colorful language, cursing the kid in every language he knew as he staggered up the stairs after the other two.
Sorry Eryn, hope you're okay with him knocking her out.
suddenly as she struggled the angry one did something that hurt head for a few seconds as everything went back..... (its ok , she is out cold , from here anyone can jump the story forward a bit and choose what you wan to do with her, just remember there are consequences for something actions if taken , just elements to keep things interesting )

"I hear you on that, but for the sake of all of us (if any don't intend to lose the sense of smell) we'll need a bathtub, a gallon of clean water and a whole soap bar."

"I can provide the soap" Stephen said, trying not to breath much "I might also suggest we burn the things clothing. I know a tailor who has clothing for sale at this hour. I will buy it- I have no problem if it means cleaning this mess up. She might also be wounded so maybe someone could take care of that. But that bath first. Please."
as they go , they notice that her dress was just a very old coat as well as no other clothing , they also notice as they check her out was her stump that was once arm looked like it was chopped off by some sort of big knife as well as burned to stop it from bleeding some years ago , it looks well treated enough that its not infected , also they notice that her still intact arm has a few burns that looks freshly done as well as small spinster cut that also look fresh , where ever she came from there was fire and wood and she got away with her life? maybe what happened to her and why she acted the way she did.
(she not gonna wake up any time soon , so ya can say what happens to her )

"Yes yes we're going to get rid of those rags and wash her, and then wash ourselves (not collectively), so you don't need to beg. Lead the way..." She would have chuckled at Stephen looking so anguishedly despaired about giving the girl a bath. She hoped he wasn't planning to fill in for that task himself though, that strange child might be small in size but wasn't really a little toddler either. Beyond that, what in hell was the girl wearing... or not wearing,l for that matter?! "You might call me crazy for it, but to me it -does- look like she fell in a sewer and wandered in there for a decade."

Stephen's face turned pale as he looked at Edel in horror "So you mean to tell me.... that I am carrying.... sewer trash?..." if he had eaten anything this evening he most certainly would have lost it all right there. This was disgusting- no, abominable! Why did he have to carry this living sac of filth again?!? "I am burning my clothes after this" he wheezed, straining his neck to the side so that he would not have to smell the think.

"At least regarding her clothes..." and whatever they and her were impregnated with "...I guess so." She gave Stephen a pat on the arm. "If you don't want your clothes anymore at least donate them instead of burning. Some strong bleach and soap still can salvage it just fine. ...And how much more till the closest bathtub?"

"Oh yeah, maybe someone can make a handkerchief out of my coat but I would not want to be responsible for spreading the plague around Lodan. The clothes. will. burn." he was probably being over dramatic about it but he was a rich Nobel kid; normal rich Nobel kids were not required to carry around unconscious cesspools. "And that bath better be around the corner or I swear..." he muttered.
Turning the corner they spotted a bucket of water. "That works. Here, wash the thing Epikuro. Please. I refuse to do so myself. It would be indecent."

Oh god or any existent deities above, where did Addison gone that he was not present to watch Stephen's little rich-boy-fit? It was EXTREMELY hard to not burst out laughing at that. Well, at least until he pointed at a random water bucket and expected her to wash the strange girl with it. "........" And she stared at the bucket with squinted eyes for a couple seconds before sloooowly turning back to look at him. "I can't bath her with a bucket." She sighed, wondering if his common sense was waning along their collective sense of smell. "Yes I agre on that last part, yes it would be indecent and I can wash her, but not.with.a.bucket. She's not a dog. If you want her to smell like a human being then bring me a bathtub or at least a large tub-sized container of water, soap (preferably coconut or glicerinated but bar soap will do as well), a sponge, a large scrubbing brush and a shampoo bottle - and a vial of bath oil if you have any." Talking very seriously and counting on her fingers while listing everything she could remember. Yes the redhead's aware she's talking to a noble rich boy, and that was a very good time for him to put his noble rish resources to use. Edelweiss herself had been born in an average, middle-class family and had her own ups and lows in life, that was exactly why she was perfectly aware of the amount of effort and what things they'd need to make that girl stop smelling like sewage.

Stephen gave Epikuro a 'what-do-you-mean-you-can't-wash-it-with-a-bucket' look. Bending down he lightly set Eryn on the ground, resting his foot lightly on her so that she wouldn't crawl away. "Are you sure she is not a dog? She might be a dog wearing some human child's skin. She certainly acts and smells like an animal.." he listened to her other demands, his frown turning to confused disbelief "What, are we preparing a bath for the Queen?!? I can get you at least a tub but I live in a house with just men. We don't have" he waved his hand in the air with a befuddled look on his face ".. coconut soaps and bath oils just floating around my manor..." wait, maybe he did. His father always had a weird fascination with bath soaps and business and he could have sworn when the man walked by the other day he smelled of lemon grass. That odd man probably had some scented soaps horded away somewhere. "... actually I might have some of those.. bath items.." he said, shaking his head disapprovingly.

"Not for the Queen, the Queen is fancy for social convention but doesn't get to bath in that stuff out of sheer necessity." Sigh. "You never had to wash clothes before, right? But washing this kid will follow the same system: the more the thing stinks, the more stuff you need to decently clean and disinfect." Simple like that. And that was also why things from the sewers or slums didn't usually look clean; people either didn't have access to the needed cleaning products, or were not willing to expend them/the needed effort to clean it. "Ah, and you should start getting a suply of coconut soap if you still didn't, it's the best non-aggressive product around to get rid of unwanted residues (dry blood and other... things included)."

Stephen made a face "Maybe Addison has some of this coconut stuff in his house. We all know how he loves to splash in bloody. He has got to have something to get that stuff off. I will meet you in the nearest inn as soon as I can, alright?" With that he turned on his heels and ran away, off to get the supplies.
Later...
He knocked on the door that the inn keeper said was the one Epikuro and the child were in "I payed for the room. Apparently in the Inn keepers view that means I am the father of this kid and he gave me a scolding about how I can't even keep my children clean. THAT was fun. I do not even resemble that little brat in anyway, whatsoever! The sooner this ordeal is done the better" he ranted outside the wooden door, holding a bag that had coconut soap, some sort of smelly thing you put in the water, a spray for afterwards and the nicest shampoo he could find.

It was a good thing Stephen was speaking from outside the door, so Edelweiss just had to gain somedistance from it on the other side to avoid him to hear her laughing at his 'report' of being considered a neglecting daddy. Once she had recomposed herself a bit and the snickering fits became manageable she half-opened the door to take the bag with the bathing supplies. "Thank you. I put her at the tub, and this is going to be a rather long bath till all that dirt is scrubbed off." She rolled her eyes at the idea "So...better if you don't wait standing outside. There's a chair in here. ...Sigh, this is a very weird manner of passing a day..."
