Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"Let go of that umbrella, kid. You'll hurt yourself and it's not even yours." It couldn't possibly be hers, not only for the bizarre mismatching between the object's perfectly good state and the girl's stinky and ragged clothes, but she also did not have it with her when Edelweiss first spotted her in the rain. And the same way Addison is going downstairs, the redhead is going to stay put on the first step (not grinning sadistically, just not rushing anywhere). They'd meet somewhere in the middle no matter where the girl turns to since the only options for the kid would be climb down towards her or turn around and face Stephen and Addison. She would let her choose, though Stephen looked quite upset to say the least so if the girl is smart enough she'd put that umbrella down and come downstairs... though Edeiweiss wasn't believing much that she might be smart at this point.

At the sight of the girl brandishing the 'weapon' in his direction this made him quell his anger some; Though she seemed small and defenseless, he had already been bested by her once for underestimation her. It would be foolish to run into a fight hot headed, that would only end up with him getting hurt. Taking a deep breath he quickly lunged forward and grabbed the umbrella and hit he hand brandishing it simultaneously, hopping back quickly to avoid another on coming attack as he disarmed he of her weapon (Unarmed Combat I used). "There, now, if you would be so kind.." he said in an almost sweet voice with a smile "..give it up!" he finished with a menacing snap, the smile replaced with his usual frown.
(sorry for the jump again , just had to make Eryn react to last post)
Suddenly the super anger one took her spike , Eryn Panic just went from manageable to the points where now she was shacking and now she just wanted to run as fast as she could away from this weird person, she had one way and that was blocked , she had to , with all her might she Jumped down the stairs at the 1st one at the bottom ready to hit it with the wooden arm to make it go down so it was out of the way so she could get out , she wanted out , she did not want to die , like the way all she know die in fire. she just had to try even if it meant to kill or be killed she had to live. she had to be alive, her mother told her to , she needed to . she had to.
( Edelweiss its your turn to be attacked , so forward sorry if anything happens , just Eryn know this maybe her last push ^ ^u )

Addison watched in quiet interest as the girl brandished the umbrella like a weapon as he was curious to see what Stephen would do. Of course to no surprise to him, Stephen easily disarmed the girl, and rather surprised to him the girl reacted by leaping of the stairs. Oh for heaven's sake, Addison did not have time for this! Agitated by this continued chase the magician halted at where he was on the steps, focused on the girl and then smiled cruelly as he worked on fabricating the world around in her into something far more heinous.
Beneath the girl's feet as she plunged down to the ground to her eyes it would appear as though a large chasm suddenly ripped itself apart in the middle of the room ready to swallow her. At the bottom of this pit fires burst up ready to consume her. As she made contact with the ground since her fall only lasted the better half of a second, the nightmare she would have seen would have disappeared, however, with the sudden change of planes and as she was only a child, it was like this would cause her enough fear and confusion to daze her leaving Edelweiss enough of an opportunity to seize her.
With there being nothing else they could do, Addison finished walking down the steps to meet Stephen, clap a hand on his shoulder, and then continue down as he kept his calm slow pace.

The redhead let out a deep, looong sigh. What a troublesome kid. The girl jumped off the stairs after Stephen disarmed her of that umbrella, and judging from Addison's sadistic face and the resulting confusion he had stunned the girl with magic as well before she reached the ground. Well on that pace, the kid would reach the floor with head first and in the least break quite a few important parts. That's the reason for that sigh, though the other two had thankfully made the remaining job for her to be quite easy now.
Edelweiss flexed her own legs to get ready for the impact and caught the strange girl on her way down, grabbing the wooden arm first, "Look, girl, maybe you hit your head somewhere and that left you with some loose screws, but two things you should know: 1- Attacking people who want to help you is stupid. 2- Attacking me (or any of my colleages) is even more stupid." and swinging her up and over her shoulder like a bag of potatoes, still taking a moment to make sure the kid would still be stunned and pinned enough before tossing the wood limb away. "And I'm betting that was not yours either. ...Yurck, when was the last time you took a shower? You smell like you were lost in the sewers for a full decade."

Stephen nodded to Addison from his friendly jester, glad the girl was finally caught. At Edelweiss's last words he threw up his hands "See, that is what I said! Addison, I would not get to close to the girl, I feel like the smell would take weeks to get off." With a sigh, he reached up and touched his wounded head. It was not much of a gash but still would need to be disinfected; after all, who knew how many germs that living cesspool carried. How was he going to explain this to his father as well... If it scarred he would have not remorse over cutting of that little girls other arm.
(2 things happened so i will address them , 1st magic was cast on her but she did not see the cast so she didn't not learn Deceit due to did not see it . 2 she took some damage from the pin throw)
as she was about to swing her wooden arm suddenly everything changed to a large chasm with fire coming out if it , it happened so fast that she screamed as in mid fall which then everything else happened too fast for her to keep up as her panic took over , suddenly being grabbed by the 1st weird person and then in one movement as the weird person rabbles off things before being thrown so hard that it made her head hit the suface so hard that thing started to spin as this person started to put there weigh on her ,throwing away her fake arm as the other 2 strange people started to come closer and closer.
trying to kick and bite and scream as hard as she can she didn't not want to die , her panic was the worse as she now wanted to be free as she screamed out "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!PLEASELETGOIDONTWANTDEATHBYMONSTERLETGOIDONTWANTDEATHBYMONSTERLETGOLETGOINOWANTDEATHINOWANTDEATH!!" this was the worst time she didnt want to die , she wanted free and with all her might she will fight as hard as she can , for Death was far worse that anything she knows.
(ok quick note , she not gonna calm down at time soon and she does not know they where trying to help , the best thing to do is do the damage now and then choose to throw her out or hold her somewhere,)
(remember she not "normal" at all and things to her are different from what people know)

Addison inwardly groaned at the trouble this girl was causing. As he finally came to the bottom of the stairs, he was overcome by a strong sense to just kick the girl in the head to rend her unconscious... but that would be ungentlemanly. Resisting his urge, he clasped his hands behind his back and stared down at her with contempt. "Well, if we truly have not attracted attention now, I would say we have. Stephen, shut her up and lets get out of here."

The noble growled, turning to Addison with a frown "What?! Why me! I do not want to get my hands soiled by touching that creature" he complained. Still, he glanced around for a spare piece of fabric to possibly gag her with. Spotting a somewhat trashy costume, he walked over and gingerly ripped off a piece of the cloth, balling up with a oh-god-this-is-so-disgusting/annoying look then tossed the fabric to Addison "Here, gag her or something. Edel, do you know pressure points? I know some but I refuse to come into contact with that until it gets cleaned." It was not that he was trying to be bossy or ignore orders, it was just... the girl smelled terrible... gag-worthy even.

"Oh cry me a river. You can get blood on your hands but you won't deal with some germs," the magician rolled his eyes as he spoke, catching the cloth thrown at him. "Hold her still," he muttered to Edelweiss as he bent his knee and kneeled before the girl then forcibly seized her by the jaw. "Be a good girl now, would you? I'd hate..." Addison trailed off and instead pressed his lips together in a thin line. He never finished his sentence as he removed his hand, ripped the cloth in two, balled up one section, then took her jaw again to shove the cloth in her mouth before using the second bit to tie around her mouth so she could not just spit the first cloth out. "We should go before people come. Keep her hands restrained and her legs if you have to. Better yet, Epikuro, make Triune do it. He's been slacking," Addison said with a hint of a bite when he uttered the word 'slacking' as he stood.

"I do not literally get blood on my hands. If I do, I was them 3 times over" he huffed dusting on his hands. Watching Addison forcibly silence the child was partly a relief but not an all together pleasant thing to watch. Truth be told, he liked kids, though would adamantly deny it. Was also wrong was that the girl really had not done anything wrong. Sure, the little brat attacked him but what kid would not be freaked out to see an unknown man in a large coat corner and chase her around. It was partly his fault too. Obviously something was emotionally wrong with the child.
At Addison's last comment, his yellow eye flickered dimly in the dark light. That was a very angering comment, but partly true. He should have been able to catch the kid by himself. It was entirely irritating. With a deep breath- forcing himself not to throw a string of insults at As-Nas- he walked over to the girl, not before ripping another piece of cloth from the costume. Thanks to Edel already somewhat pinning the girl, he was able to quickly restrain the girls legs. The arm was a different story. Since he did not have anything to tie it down with he would have to hold her arm then. With a displeased look he lightly scooped the girl up into his arms, princess style carrying her but grabbing her free wrist in a tight grip- no so much that it would hurt her but only deter any movement. He made a face and switched to breathing from his mouth. God she smelled terrible. He would have to burn these clothes when he got home and take a bath in rose water or tomato juice when he got home. And sanitize his hands. This was just disgusting.
I am not 100% sure on what position Eryn was in but I'm just going to suppose that Stephen's actions were plausible (like he could restrain her feet and scoop her up into his arms without being deterred from Edel's pin and other things.) hope that works. if not, I can change post.

Edel was holding her like a bag of potatoes; you see, with Eryn hung over/across her shoulders and both arms gripping her. But I can work with what Stephen did just fine.
"Yes Addison, I know pressure points," It would turn unaffordable for her to use needles and wire as main weapons if she didn't know those, but it's not like she could reach any at the moment. "but my hands are a bit busy at the moment. Stephen if you can carry her instead of me, I'll be thankful; bear with the smell for a little while, you should have things at your house to deodorize yourself way better than I have in mine." She sighed once the weight of the young girl was off her shoulders. And to think she had just asked the kid if she was cold because it was raining outside, and now this... in the end it was for the best if they shut her up before Addison's... and her own patience is gone. "God's grief, I usually like kids, but there's something mentally wrong with this one."

(gaging her was a smart move , but that does not make her less panicky which a swift blow to the head would have cured faster)
everything just happened too fast , her legs and arm was tide up, stuff was stuffed into her mouth , and now the angry one was taking her somewhere , she stuggled and shock the best she could , she did not want to die , all she wanted was not weaird things , she wanted normal , she wanted everything back , she wanted her mother back she wanted it all , shed feared this was her last day alive , she did not want to die ,she head to brake free , she wanted to live.
(ok please note , what you do with her now will effect what happens next , so do be careful of what action you choose now since there are consequences for something actions you have, so be careful for what you do. )

"Hm, pressure points... I do think Stephen was the one asking about them. I do not care to bother using them as a swift kick to the head can accomplish so much more for me. Now then, since we caught her and she can't hurt herself, we better get out of here. We may be safe coming back the way we came since I doubt we could just walk out of the front door." There was a sly smirk on his face as he looked to his two companions and then just stared at Stephen in his misery of holding such a filthy girl. He noticed the change of breathing from his nose to his mouth and teasingly said, "careful you don't taste her filth lingering in the air like that," then moved to ascend the stairs. At the top, he paused to peer around into the hall to see if anyone was there before stepping into the hall.

"Eh, sorry, you two. Couldn't really look to see who was saying what while holding her." She sighed before heading back to that staircase to climb it up, her eyes still fixed on the strange kid. "If you would get quiet and calm down you wouldn't have to be tied up. And drat, you're not going to die! Though all that squirming makes people want to hurt you, so stop."
