Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
The man smiled and looked over towards the female before giving her a proper and respectful bow. "Where ever you wish to enjoy the stars is perfect for me." He would let her know before raising back up and looking at the skies before talking a little more about social parties or conventions. "You don't have to go to one with any particular goals if you don't want to.. If you wished to just speak with random individuals you could do just that, but it's always good to have a topic in mind. Think about going to a little party and just from that experience end up owning your cafe in a few months." Uriah laughed at the thought but it was possible something like that could happen quickly and he playfully wiggled his eyebrows towards Fawna.
"I'll just sit here then." She grinned making her point by lowering herself to sit on her knees. She listened to his explanation of social parties. "No way! I'm so going to do that now." The woman cried before giggling at his little trick. She leaned back on her hands. "Looks like I have a new goal in life. Not just to work the cafe.....to own the cafe." She joked.

"Oh, you joke about it now but just give it some time. One day you'll own may end up in charge of something and not only can you take care of those people special to you." Suggesting the thought to the female the man joined her in sitting down though he would not follow the same manner as sitting on his knee's would just be a little annoying, he decided to stretch his legs out and lean back on his hands, looking up into the sky.
"Oh the glorious thought. Its almost like gold but...its so heavy!" Fawn put a hand on her chest over her heart. "Gravity is no friend!" She leaned over on him pushing down and basically just letting her body weight do all the work. "So.....much...gravity!" She whined before laughing and sitting back up. Her aunt used to do this to her. She could remember it like it was yesterday.
"Gerr-off!" A little Fawna shouted as an older woman slowly sank to the floor. "But gravity!" The woman gasped snickering quietly. "It doesn't work that way! Your crushing me you evil thing!" The little girl shouted.
Fawna laughed harder and knew he would probably look at her like she was crazy. "My aunt used to crush me with gravity all the time." She shrugged cheekily. "Horrid thing it was when I wad younger." She resituated herself by pulling her knees off to the side and sitting on her hip. Her foot was going to sleep, causing some weird staticy feeling to tingle its way through her foot. "My life was undoubtedly fun you see? The laws of physics weren't followed."

"Wait! No, no!" Uriah let out as Fawn decided to fall over on top of her, pushing him down to the ground before she had lifted herself back up and he just laid there flat for a moment while she reminisced about her what he figured were her much younger days. Uriah chucking lightly as she spoke about the past before watching her re-position how she was sitting. "Oh, it's so riving, I was practically swept away with laughter." The man taunted her lightly. "Your aunt used to huh? What was she like?" He figured that he should ask given that she was talking about her and from how it sounded perhaps this aunt has passed away already.
Fawna grinned. "My aunt?" The woman looked over at him thoughtfully. "Honestly she was a lot like me. Or so my father claims. She was tactical and horrifically clever. Loved pulling tricks and stuff like that on me. Consider her a prankster. She didn't have wings, being my father's older sister she was a half-breed but on the human side. She used to do gymnastics all over the house, back-hand springs down the hall and such. If she tried any of that now she'd break a hip." Fawn switched from past to present with a snort. For her aunt was very much alive and quite literally kicking. "Now she is such an off the wall woman. She asked for twenty pounds of feather down several weeks ago and I still have yet to find what she did with it. All I can find are little trails of feathers that lead to nowhere. Although the woman is still as clever as she was when she was young." Fawn looked of into the sky watching the clouds move at their leisurely pace. "But sometimes I swear she's mental."
Uriah chuckled and commented. "Mental huh? I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree sometimes." Raising his arm he gave the female a nudge after hearing about Fawna's family and how quite interesting they were and to hear there was a half-breed in the mix? Oh well Uriah didn't know much what to think of that, as it stood he didn't have much of an opinion about them. "Sounds like quite an enjoyable women to have around, and maybe she's onto somethin'. A trail of feathers may direct you exactly where you need to be." The man silently went to think of the thought of Fawn's family and how different they seem to be than his own which caused him to take a deep breath and release it.
"Must be nice having a 'wacky' family tree... Perhaps it would be a entertainin' thought to switch places." Not really wanting to speak his family the man say up and curled up his knee's and crossed his arms to rest them there. "I almost wish there were fireworks to light up the night sky."
"Hey now!" Fawn rolled her eyes as he nudged her. "It's only the two of us currently. My father is out of the city on another island. And those feathers are going to drive me crazy. They are all over everything when I'm least expecting them." She glanced over at his sigh wondering what he was thinking about. She cackled as he mentioned a wacky family tree. "I don't know about nice but it sure keeps things from getting boring." She stretched her legs out in front of her and tried touching her toes. She achieved her goal easily and was bent almost perfectly in two. "As for switching places, feel free to come crash at my home anytime. If you can survive putting up with Aunt Rose." Fawn snickered. "Wait, is it wrong of me to invite a man of such status as yourself to a mere peasant home? Especially under such vague circumstances?" She asked putting on her best noblewoman accent. She raised a hand as elegantly as she could possibly do so. "As for fireworks," Fawn dropped the act. "All I can do is maybe accidentally set something on fire? By forcing a lit match to fall or something like that. But nothing spectacular."

"Somehow I think you're trying to offend me." The man raised his left hand and pressed it to his chest before pretending to choke up. "Though it sounds like a good time, so long as though vague circumstance do not involve harvestin' one of my organs. Not exactly the type of business I personally wanted to get 'physical' with." Laughing about it the man shook his head towards her option for how to cause something close to fireworks happen. "Now now, no need to add arson to what else may happen tonight." The man chuckled and teased about doing something that may be illegal. "Aunt Rose huh? Lovely name, I couldn't imagine breaking her heart." Placing the back of his hand over his forehead the man played a small woe is me act before chuckling more.
"To be honest I figured I would invite you to my place first, perhaps after some dinner and a musical. Somethin' a fair bit more proper instead of just crashin' but I am not one to turn down a polite invitation from a temptress such as yourself." Teasing more the man seemed to be enjoying himself quite a lot during these conversations.
"Now why would I do something like that?" Fawn snickered quietly. "No arson? Awww!" She said trying to act disappointed. Organ harvesting. Gross. After thinking for a second she gained a sly little look. "So....no friendly organ collection. Gotcha. But what did ya want to get physical with anyways?" She asked giving him a very large grin. She may be getting a little brazen with her words bur surely it wasn't anything the man couldn't handle right? Fawn only wished to tease. "Well looks like I beat you to an invitation Flyboy. And excuse me but crashing is just as fair and proper as dining out somewhere and going home for a nice chat. Don't judge my vocabulary." She laughed and her smile seemed like it was forever going to be there. "Temptress eh? Are ya trying to say something?" She chuckled wondering if he'd turn red the same way he did back where they got their drinks. It was rather cute but unbelievably funny. In the back of her mind she was considering his invitation with a bit of thought.

"Yeah! I'm tryin' to say you're a demon in disguise!" The man raised up and extended his arms in the more 'spooky' fashion and pretended to be a ghost of sorts... Uriah wasn't particularly good at charades so he might just come off looking like a doofy idiot in this particular case. Starting to laugh about their conversation the man did turn a fair bit red but he hoped that the darkness that would be sneaking up upon them would mask any sign of embarassment he might be having.
"Well you have me this time, in which I am in a position where I must accept your welcoming invitation to meet your Aunt Rose and perhaps help you on one of those feather trails myself. I figure it is customary that I bring a gift, is there something you think she and yourself would enjoy?" He asked offering to bring them possibly something of interest to them so long as it didn't go to far into the realm of expensive.
"Demon!?" Fawn scoffed. "Now that's just cold! I thought I was more of an angel." She looked away from him as though hurt by his words. She was secretly trying not to laugh because she had caught a slight tint to his face about her words, but she would pretend as if she had not to protect his pride. "But you wouldn't want to go to the house of a demon temptress would you? You might have your soul stolen." She taunted. "Couldn't let that happen now could we?" Customary to being a gift? "I'm not nobility ya know. No gifts required, your visit will be plenty a gift as it is." She said counteracting the tease in her words earlier with something sweet.

"Oh you would never know if it's actually me or not. I could send a double in my place! I'm sure some poor looking Ander out there wants to disguise him/herself like me." Letting some of his vanity show the man fanned himself jokingly and just got back into the mood of relaxing, letting the blood heating his cheeks settle before he could stand looking directly at her once again. "Perhaps some pastries then? Ones that I didn't go out of my way to pick up from your workplace and pass off as my own." The man smiled and slowly thought to himself before looking at the space between the two and slowly inching his way to close it slightly and trying to be inconspicuous about the act in general.
"That sounds like it defeats the entire purpose of paying a visit." Fawn chuckled before rolling her eyes a bit. She glanced at him sideways. "You think your clever don't you?" She smirked. "I hope ya don't expect me to not know what my own cooking tastes like? Ya know, the pastries that ya didn't go get from the cafe where I work, the ones you totally made on your own." She laughed quietly staring off into the darkening sky. A few very bright stars winked out from between the clouds above. It was going to be a very pretty night.

"Oh? So you're more than a waitress? It comes out now! You can actually cook as well. Not a bad quality to have." The two of them much of been quite the pair with their banter back and fourth but it was just something that came naturally with the two of them it seemed. "Okay okay, no gift.. Maybe. I'll have to think about it and maybe take some time to window shop..." Uriah went into his almost daydream thoughts once again while looking up at the sky, perhaps it would be a better idea to bring a sack of two filled of even more feathers just for Aunt Rose to drive Fawna crazy.
"Ah! I forgot, I don't even know where you live. Is it here in this district or?" He questioned while trying to be as far from insulting as possible and he more than hoped that his friend could understand what he was asking even if for once he couldn't word it properly.
