Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
"Shame I have to find another. I happened to like Flyboy." She said in mock disappointment. Fawn took another sip of her drink finding herself slowly growing accustomed to the taste. Her brown eyes peered over the rim of the glass slightly confused at his next statement. Crossing her legs under the table she thought for a moment. 'Other assets? Does he mean like fighting?' She wondered before the realization hit her. "Oh, magic." Her voice got softer, keeping the conversation between them. No need for others to accidentally "overhear". "You ought to know now that I'm a bit of a showoff." The woman smirked as she set her glass down but deciding against using a portion of magic to prove her point. "Telekinesis is my part time hobby." She could only do small things at the moment and most of her magic was used to retrieve small items from around her house. Like her bookmarks when she had them out of reach from her chair. "Do you have any other assets Mister Han?" Fawna leaned forwards placing her chin lightly on the backs of her fingers. The leather bracelets around her arm dropped down from the movement. It was nice to relax after a long day of running back and forth from table to table.
Uriah showed more than a spark of interested as his smile grew and his eyebrows raised in surprised to her answer to her question, at least it was good to know his assumption of getting her to talk about something like that was right. Though it didn't mean anything in general from Fawna's overall personality, she seemed comfortable and that's all that really mattered. It took the man a moment to respond back as he peered off to the side before respond in a little louder than she was speaking as he couldn't exactly say what it was.
"Well, you could just think. Not even a solid steel door could prevent me from peering within. Quite useful for hearing what goes on behind closed doors.. Or perhaps trying something before actually doing it." It was a little complicated all that he -could- possibly do with his own particular brand of magic but that's what he found was the most useful thing about it. "It's very nice in these particular times for staying out later... Though I do need to head that way to get my permit soon." The man visibly grumbled and showed a little frustration with the new decree that affected everyone but isn't that what royalty was all about? Living fancy while making the working class suffer for nothing.
Uriah only let the poor mood sit for awhile before raising his glass in front of him with a simple laugh. "How about a toast? To new friends and hopefully a lasting relationship?" He inquired keeping his glass help up and starring towards Fawna.

Fawn listened and fit puzzle pieces together rather quickly. 'Projection.' She tried not to laugh at his obvious frustration. Instead she took another drink, anything to hide the smirk forming on her lips. The cup chinked quietly as she placed it on the table again. The law was the law, as annoying as it got. So maybe it would warrant a few sleepovers at HQ? She glanced up as he offered a toast. Pausing the woman bit the inside of her cheek considering. A smile working its way to the surface. After running her index finger around the outer rim of her glass she firmly picked it up and held it forwards. "Absolutely." Delicately touching her glass to his she then tipped it back for a drink. She was about halfway done with it now. Looking down into the translucent liquid she spoke, "So, what was that I heard about a 'run' earlier?"

Taking a long drink Uriah swallowed down the rest of his wine and slid the glass closer to the edge of the table for the waiter to pick up when he was available. His overall composure began to relax as he leaned back and kept his hands by his side before talking once again. "Well as you said you're quite a showoff so naturally I'm curious how fair you would go once the night falls down upon our city. The law has made it so the nighttime becomes a natural playground and.. Well perhaps being around you makes me want to attempt to take some chances."
The man chuckled and leaned up once again as the waiter finally came by again, asking if he wanted another but Uriah respectfully declined and had his glass taken away before the individual asked Fawn if she wanted another glass or something else. "If you're hungry feel free to order anything you please, we have time to just relax yes?" intertwining his fingers together the man rested his chin upon his fingers and looked around the establishment. "Unless you have a different plan in mind?"
"Curious eh?" Fawn arched an eyebrow. She mused on this while the waiter came forward. "Unfortunately I'll have to decline thank you." The woman said holding up a hand marginally. If she was going to take to the skies tonight she didn't want to have anything else to drink. Shouldn't fly while impaired. You could end up a bloody billboard someone didn't pay for. "We can relax. It only depends on how curious you are." The woman said taking a drink nonchalantly. There was a gleam of mischief in her eyes and she easily hid the smug look on her face. No complete plan had been formed in her mind, oh no. There were plenty of half-formed ideas floating around. "The world becomes open for the taking when the sun dies."
Nodding his head the man agreed with Fawn simply though a simple movement the new law had made the city rather vulnerable at night if you knew where EIRAL eyes would be stationed and how to go about avoiding them would be very important for not getting arrested, shot, you know just general bad things that people don't want to have happen to them. Though every risk needed a reward and for Fawna that was perhaps just the thrill of living life closer on the edge to keep her adrenaline running but the brown haired man had a different idea of a possible reward.
"The town is somethin' to mold and there isn't much that can stand in our way so long as we know where to go." The man trailed off as he actively began to think to himself about the different situation that was possible before he started to laugh, it was funny that he could talk that with someone else was rather entertaining but still a point to be cautious. "It's just a thought though.. A lot of work and not enough time in the day. If you're ever interested, you could attempt the life of a contractor if that cafe starts to cause you trouble. Lot's of business opportunities and people to meet." the man nodded his head, giving perhaps a life option to Fawn is she was interested but he wouldn't be surprised if she declined after all does seem to have a stable life as it was.

"True that." Fawn agreed downing the rest of her glass. She hadn't exactly studied the positions of any patrols. It was to work, home, work, the docks, and back to work. She lowered it and pushed it towards the edge of the table but not far enough to get accidentally knocked off. She ran a hand through her hair letting it rest against her neck as she placed her elbow in the table. "Not enough time at night either." Fawn pointed out. "There is never enough time to do anything in life. Never enough time to eat, or sleep. Never a long enough break." She chuckled. The day was long yet the hours were always that little bit short. Aside from time the position the girl was in was also a bit of a contradiction in itself. Fawn's entire life had been spent keeping things cheap and only spending what you could which at times could have been nothing at all. The idea of dropping one job for another that obviously promised more than what she had was enticing, yes. Only it would also be dangerous to quit one's job for one that held a lot of uncertainty as well. Fawn had no idea how to contract anything. She shifted in her seat imagining the pros and cons of such an action. She might look into it, maybe educate herself a bit more. "I don't know about right now but it could be a possibility somewhere down the line." She mused looking off into space.

Uriah smiled lightly and agreed once again with Fawn and watched as she finished her glass and put it off to the side. "It's entirely up to you, it's generally just taking random jobs and helping businesses advertise but it doesn't seem like your current job is terrible, I was just offering..." His voice trailed off as he watched the waiter come by and pick up her glass and take it away, which was what he was waiting for a unique chance to be truly another. The overall air around him began to become much more serious along with his tone and general light hearted demeanor.
"Wouldn't it be something if there was enough time to complete all of those things? Not that I can promise you more hours in the day but perhaps a opportunity you haven't thought of before." Uriah narrowed his eyes and leaned back in his chair and looked off. "Instead of working in a cafe, can you imagine using your wings and perhaps working as a postal carrier? Maybe even flying your way to work and passing others of our.. variety that carry the same line of blood?" It might of been a strange topic to bring up given the way that he was easing into it but the man was offering a twist of perspective and instead of not having enough time to complete basic and needed task for life what if there was a way to bring fourth new jobs and opportunity though a effort of unity which could be troubling to some people but Uriah felt like he could approach Fawna with his concerns and wondered her opinion on the subject. Of course nearly every Ander wished for equality among their people but what truly mattered was those who were willing to reach out in an attempt to grab such a dream.
Fawn turned her inquisitive gaze back on Uriah as he began to speak again. It sounded like an amazing opportunity if she could take it. The idea of using her wings everyday to word and no one could tell her otherwise was a dream that sounded impossible. A sense of longing took over her expression as she considered the option. What she wouldn't give to be able to fly anytime she wanted. That option however was not an option. She shifted to rub her hands up and down her arms.It might look like she was cold but alas she was not. She was merely wistful in wanting more from her life. Fawn tried her best to live it to it's fullest. Her daring stunts and knack for trouble was her deliverance from the normal. "It's a wonderful idea...but I have too many people to watch out for that are counting on me. Maybe somethime." She leaned back in her seat taking a shallow breath.
"Are you okay?" He inquired wondering what exactly was up with the way she was acting, from her typical self who seemed to enjoy things it seemed like she was growing bored or perhaps uncomfortable over the entire situation which cause the man to stop and relax more himself. "It is simple an idea that has to be put into motion but it is rather noble your sense to take care of those around you before being self centered." Nodding his head, he thought it was at least good of her to have her head on straight and know what she was and unable to do. "If you ever do choose to change your mind you can tell me, otherwise I'll work to the goal alone."
Nodding his head at the situation Uriah had been thinking about a way to bring fourth equality but it tempted a fair amount of work and likely end up like most other plans for the same thing could end in simple disaster and a even bigger hatred for the Ander kind but if you never tried you couldn't achieve what you set out for. "Would you like to get out of here? There's still a few more hours or light and I'm sure staying in such a cramped spot is not ideal for enjoyin' your time off." The man chuckled and looked over in the direction of the waiter, prepared to call him over to pay for their drinks.
Fawn sat up straighter. "Yes, yes, I'm fine. Ha, get me thinking too much and I drift off on my own into the wild blue yonder." She smiled casting aside any unhappy thoughts. She was in pleasant company tonight, no need to ruin it. "I'm honored you think its noble to put oneself before others. But honestly, where would we be if not one helped another." Fawn said arching sideways a bit in a stretch. She did the same thing the opposite way considering his words. "I save my self-centered motives for flying." She smirked, her usual charm throwing in its two cents.
The woman paused and looked at him curiously. "Do you like working alone?" She questioned studying his eyes for signs of anything. Any emotions, any flashes or tiny hints as to his true opinion regardless of how he answered her question. She shook her head after a few long moments. "Sure, lets go have some fun shall we? Not that this wasn't enjoyable." Fawn quickly corrected herself with a sheepish gesture to the area. "Hey, it could be worse. There are smaller spaces than this to get cramped into." Fawn winked just trying to throw him for a loop. Oh, look at that, there went her shame. Glad it paid a visit tonight. The green haired Ander flashed a cocky little grin and waited for his cue that he was ready to leave as well.

The man seemed to take a moment as he thought about her question of working alone, in which it was a good question but overall the answer seemed clear to him but depending on the situation it was great to have someone else capable of assisting close to him or at least near by. His hesitation was noticeable as he thought about it more and more before answering. "I think.. Having others around is important to anyone, and I already work alone enough." It was the best he could think of to cover all his grounds on how exactly he felt about it.
As the two prepared to leave the man was caught of guard by her comment and turned slightly red as he had thought about it and rapidly shook his head before covering his face. Raising his hand up quickly to get the attention of the man who walked closer to them. "Are you okay sir?" The waiter asked Uriah who quickly nodded and took a single moment or two before responding completely. "A-Ah.. Yes, we are ready to leave." He spoke out and stood up as the two continued to talk for a moment before exchanging the money for the drinks and thanking the two for visiting the location. Uriah turned completely towards Fawn as the two would most likely be heading for the door. "Any idea of what you would like to do?" He asked her, wondering if she had a direct idea of anything that might of came to her mind.
Fawn respected his answer although he seemed a little hesitant about it at first. At least he took his time and thought about it. Apparently he also thought about her comment, a little too much. She smiled at the waiter gleefully. It had been a little uncalled for but it was amusing. The woman checked her nails while the two conversed. Merely trying to look like she wasn't listening to them talk and was just patiently waiting for them to finish. Standing she fixed her vest with some minute tugging and was ready to roll. Walking out with him she looked side to side on the street. "I may have an idea, then again I may not." She snickered. "What about you?" The woman turned right and began walking at a leisurely pace. All the while she kept a look out for any officers. Not that it would bother her any if there were some around, just trying to be cautious. Most of their plans may involve a little rule breaking.

Casually Uriah walked along side of Fawn, starting to stretch in place because he would most likely need it relatively soon. His attention focusing on where they were walking and not showing to much interest in their surroundings as much as Fawna. "Worried?" He spoke out curiously before coming to a mild stop and turning his head in both direction before continuing on. "I'm sure your idea is more than effort to keep us preoccupied." He chuckled and spoke only a little further. "I already got my wish today of getting to see you." Figuring now was as good of a chance as any he would poke back at the female with his words and compliment her, wanting to hear what exactly her idea may or may not have been.
"Not worried. Just cautious." She laughed at his statements. "What? You only have one wish a day or something? Glad I could take up a valuable wish. Come on Flyboy." Fawn suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him off into a side street. She quickly stuck her head out to see if anyone was nearby. Coast clear. "Alright. My idea is up." Fawn looked above her at the edge of a rooftop. Bending her knees she jumped as high as she could stretching her arms up and managing to catch hold of the roofs edge with her fingers. She grunted as her hand slipped a bit and she rocked her weight to give each hand a firmer grip. Using whatever strength she had she swung her body carefully until she could manage to get a foot on the ledge. As gracefully as possible she pulled herself up and dusted her hands off on her pants. Turning a hair she leaned over to look down at him. "You coming?" She smirked before disappearing.
The girl waited a moment before carelessly shedding her vest and exposing the tree branch tattoo on her back. While standing there she pulled her hair over to one side and began to braid it over her shoulder. Easily twisting the green locks over each other while she waited.
