Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"Seems like this one works for him." Edelweiss informed, gesturing to Jasper with a thumb and an amusing expression. The kid was kind of dumbfolded, looking crosseyed at the watch and wondering for the life of him why it wasn't stopping ticking - and even less breaking. As if it wasn't comical enough, there was adding the talk between Ikuze and Danielle, and then Stephen's reaction to the mention of magic, and now the redhead couldn't control her fit of snickers anymore.

((Hey Hey Y'all!! I had a talk with Cait and she said that since these bracelets defy the rules of Lodan, they need to brake. Sorry, it was my bad, I didn't realize what I was doing. So I'm going to have Stephen make everyone try on the bracelet's once again and you will all have to make them brake in the worst possible way (no bodily harm to your characters though, thanks!) Once again, Sorry, my bad XP)) Stephen stopped his foolish glancing around the room, resting his eyes on Danny with interest "Really? You know how magic works? Could you share some of that information with me?" Magic was always an interesting topic to him. He was always eager to find more information on it. Turning he grinned excitedly, looking from Tyrell to Jasper "Splendid! Absolutely Fantastic! One moment, I will write this information down. Danielle, I think I will have you try an Aluminum (Str 1) bracelet in a moment." This was turning out to be a great day.
Ikuze looked over her bracelet, wondering what else she could pull off with it, when the thing began to spark. "Umm... I didn't do anything..." she said before crying out as the device sent a feedback pulse through her body before it fell apart into oh so many pieces. She stood there panting for a second, a faint burn on her wrist where the bracelet had been previously before she looked at Stephen. "What. The. Hell. Was that?!" she growled, more annoyed at the sudden pain and dismantlement than Stephen himself.

"Fireworks. Or fire works, whatever." Was a whispered grumble apparently from no one (but that had been caused by Jasper). Seems like Ikuze's set of watch and bracelet had not been the only one to grace its wearer with a tiny explosion as the boy watched warily the pieces of hot metal - gears and springs - stuck walfway between the watches glass and the table nearby leaving a few half-cauterized cuts on his hand and wrist.
Even Edelweiss had clasped her own and taken it off at top speed to abandon it over the tabletop as soon as it started giving her that weird stactic discharge feeling, before it exploded too. drat it. "Sorry Stephen, but I like having both my hands in a functional state. And it seems like it only works temporarily... then becomes a bomb."

Stephen just stood in shock, watching the horrific evens unfold before him. Slowly he got down on his knees and picked up the destroyed remains of one of the bracelets. As he examined the shattered pieces his face turned to what would look like someone learning their best friend died. Slowly getting back up, he let the broken remains cascade through his fingers. "Everyone. These tests will not continue. Please come forth and collect your pay. If you have a bracelet on, take it off immediately. I apologize for wasting your time." He took out his wallet and started to pull out handfuls of cash. He divided it evenly so that each person would get 30 pounds.
Is the currency amount to low or too high? Please tell me! Thanks!

Tyrell was luckily spared the destruction while the bracelet was attached. As soon as he returned to see what occurred to the others, he immediately put two and two together and worked on removing his. Not a second after, however, the bracelet combusted and caused the winged andersweltler to flinch though he was not in danger, nor was anyone else as he was not within the vicinity of another. "Uh, sorry," he murmured quietly then looked to Stephen in time to see that terrible expression. Poor guy, he had been so happy moments ago.

"Well, it was a good theory, nonetheless. Maybe not fully wrong either..." The redhead shrugged while glancing at all those small broken pieces in front of her. "It worked for a moment, so, maybe the part of how Anders affect geared machinery is right...(?)" And that sounded like in-between an statement and a question, but were just her throughts being rambled aloud. "Just not the right way to deal with it, to make Anders use tech. You might think of something else later." If there was infact any means to make Anders able to use steampunk technology, or to make humans able to use magic again. Either way, it was good to have a clue on why things are the way they are. Although even if Stephen thinks of something else later, Jasper is not thinking of anything besides sticking both his own AND Edelweiss' share of coins inside the pockets in his pants.
