-This is open to anyone who wants to venture into the endless shelves of the curio shop.-
The afternoon had reached the streets of Lodan with a warm haze. The kind that made people want to be outside, and animals want to bask lazily because they didn't have to work. It was a delightful afternoon for the large mutt snoozing happily in the porch. His feline companion? Didn't enjoy the heat as much. She was inside, hidden among the tall and cluttered shelves. She enjoyed the opportunity to be out and about with good weather but she'd been keeping herself to her lonesome for a while. Her familiar, Cas, usually the only friend at her side.
The reason she'd been so secluded was trying to keep herself out of trouble. Elaine wasn't wanted for any reason, but she wasn't keen on talking to many people. For certain persons, she'd gone well out of her way to avoid. She sadly couldn't avoid Stephen or many people from CAEsAL. An assassin guild is hard to hide from. The feline has gotten herself into a hole through the power of friendship. Literally.
Elaine pushed her hair back out of her face, it was growing longer. Weighing itself down into long, loose curls. Which most of them were being held back in a soft bun. Something to keep it out of her way as she browsed the piles of treasures for anything that peaked her interest. Bored as of the moment. Archie was tallying up some profits at the front desk. Hidden away in the small alcove it rested in under the hallway above. The woman in the shelves leaned against one, picking at a locket she'd found, finding it being difficult. Pulling her dagger from its sheath on her leg and praying at it.
