Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"I like your style kid," Cait laughed feeling a lot more lighthearted when she realized that Danny also knew how and could jump the rest of the way up. Since he clearly remembered and understood what she had done in the woods before, it saved her the trouble of pretending to be human and not have the magic to make such a leap.
Following in his wake, she mimicked each jump till they were on the opposite roof. There, she extended her hand for a shake. "Was nice doing business with you," she smiled. Now that they were off the ground, they could go on their way without needing to take up each others time. She still hoped the kid would stay out of the woods, at least for as long as the coin she'd given him lasted. If he was deadset on hunting this beasty of his, he may as well continue doing it after a good couple days of rest and hearty food.
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin

Danny looked at Caitlin's extended hand for a minute before he reached into one of his pockets, pulled out the journal from before, and slapped it into her hand. "Yeh, yeh... " Danny shoved his hands into his pockets and turned to slouch across the roof. "Tell yer blue haired girlie 'ello fer me, wouldja?" Danny waved over his shoulder without looking back, then took a running leap off the edge of the building. He caught himself against the far wall of the building he made the jump to, and scrambled up. He crawled down the far sight of that building and disappeared from sight.

that. was not a handshake, Caitlin thought but nonetheless it still made for a useful send off. Turning to walk the opposite direction of Danny, she thumbed open the journal and started to browse through the beasts. One after another they gave her chills, and only made her feel that much more certain that Andersweltlers were by far not the monsters in this city. Here was all the proof anyone should need to clear up that misunderstanding.
I think I'm going to drop out of this thread now You can post some more if you like Danny but I'm going to close out Cait's end of the rp. Thanks!
