Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Jasper couldn't help but shake his head as Edel commanded Zona return Elaine's trinket. "See, I told you that was a bad idea." He chuckled...or at least he was going to. He opened his mouth to speak only to have it hang slack. Slowly the sights and sounds began to fade away until all that remained was silence - a silence so absolute it seemed to drain all sensation from the surroundings. (There will be an explanation for this 'blackout')

Eryn and Livna panicked as they everything that happened and with the nasty man drawing and swing of the sword. "oh Rat!" they both shouted in synchronized words.
Livna was the 1st to react , using her left metal fake arm with Telekinesis II , she used it to stop the sword from being swung. then with the sword being the problem Livna then grabbed the sword arm of the man and put her full weight onto it to stop him form using that arm. last of all she decided to bite the man's hand , her super shape teeth chomped down on the wrist to make him give up the sword.
Eryn following behind Livna , she know that there was only one way to get rid of nasty men , she winded up and jumped at the man , then like her sister she used Telekinesis II to move her right metal fake arm into a fist and she dived on to the man she started to get to punch the man in the head as many times as she could do with both arms using UC I with the intent of putting the nasty men to sleep

(Now that I think about it, I probably should have just used some ellipses in my last post...) With a deep, frantic gasp, Jasper regained consciousness and instantly identified the sounds of a scuffle - a rather violent one if his ears were worth trusting. He quickly made his way over to the source of the noise, only to find Eryn, and her grey-haired doppelganger, engaged with a swordsman of some sort - though his attire suggested otherwise.
With barely a thought, the juggler pounced at the man closest to Elaine. "If Eryn is attacking one of them, they must be bad news." He thought to himself, reflecting on how docile his younger acquaintance normally was.
Slamming his knees into the man's lower back, Jasper used both his own weight and that of the man to send him crashing into the ground. Once on the ground, the blue-haired feline positioned himself so that his feet were perched against the man's center of gravity - one between his shoulder blades and the other against his waist. His claws dug into the sides of the man's neck. He hissed into the man's ear and flashed his teeth like an angry cat - something that would have looked extraordinarily silly if not for the underlying magical suggestion beneath the action - "Move and I will kill you." (Deceit I used)
"You know what they say: Ignorance is bliss, and while I might not be as ignorant as I seem, I intend to live in bliss for as long as I can." -Jasper, All in the Family Note: I enjoy quoting myself
"Ahh!..." All the men called out as their hands were hit with something. "Ay, What in the 'ell was that?!" Gail called out as he rubbed his hand for a moment before balling it up into a fist and lowering it to his side. Merl removed his hand for just a moment before returning it right back were it was. Jack on the other hand did something different form the other two, causing his hand to be cut by the wire Edelweiss sent at them. Jack rubbed it some as blood slowly began to drip down his hands. Gail noticed this and stared down the woman, "Oi, wrong move lady..." He said, gripping his sword.
Zona glanced over to Elaine as she said something about her making enemies, "Why must everyone think I did something to these guys..." Zona said just loud enough for the two people around her to hear, "I have no idea who these guys are." She added as she looked over to Elaine for a moment before looking back at the men. She had a feeling this wouldn't end well...
"Oh really..." The redhead replied calmly to the one gripping the sword. Seemed like he wasn't going to back down. Just bothering her workers was already a wrong move of his own, then not being able to even see an oncoming attack and still not give up comfirmed it: the man is an idiot. But some idiots could be dangerous as well, so she wouldn't give him the courtesy of lowering her guard.
"That's because you're our most adored magnet of trouble~" She cooed back to Zona in a teasing tone that kind of sounded like one of those fat aunts who came over to squish your cheeks against your will. "But we can talk about this later."
"Alright men, now is your time to make us proud! Its time to move out!" Melvan called out as he raised a fist, causing the men to shout and make whooping sounds. The group had about 25 men, give or take a few. They all began to make their way off in the direction they needed to go, Melvan and Pierre making their behind the group on the roof tops, after all they were only there if things went wrong.
"Get 'em!" Gail called out as he drew his sword and lunged at the red hair. He didn't care who the others went for as long as one of them went after the blue haired girl. "Yer all mine!" Gail said as he swung his sword at the Edelweiss head. He wanted her dead.
As two dozen men moved about, the shadows watching in the district shifted slightly. Three men walking down was passable, but twenty five? There was no way they wouldn't be noticed. There weren't enough lookouts to counter the numbers equally; what state that Martial Law was reducing them to... but there was a pair available for backup still. Only a pair... how annoying. Informants switching posts passed one onto the other, and out they went. Wellson moved to where the main fight was going on, and Pearl slipped through the shades and dark spots the buildings around offered, silent steps and silver eyes hidden by silver hair, until she reached a duo of man and child and stepped behind them. The man had a radio, another who was even taller. She figured it wouldn't matter whom she chose, they were both bigger than her anyway, so went with 'both'. "Hands up, you both." She hissed lowly, angry, long pale claws leaning against the middle of the men's backs, sharpened like thin daggers.
Edelweiss waited until Gail approached enough before ducking and dodging the sword attack, then slammed her clenched fist up towards his wrist. Minimal expected effect would be to drop the blade so she can kick it to Elaine, though the ideal would be if he actually moves his arm away so her fist would connect to his nose. "Again, no lady is yours without her consent." A step to the side, then a side-hand hit at the lower lower half of his spine. (UC V)

Elaine unsheathed her daggers and twirled them once in her hands, one facing forwards and the other back. She raised them as he stood there but suddenly she felt slightly confused. The man was running at her when she could have sworn he was only standing right across from her. Elaine shuffled backwards a bit to add more space between her and the charging enemy and raised her daggers to cross them in front of her. As she did so she slid a foot slightly behind her for stabilization and as a counterbalance. She glared at the illusion set in front of her and prepared herself for an attack. She flicks her gaze to the left and right of herself taking the split second to pinpoint the main attacks and where the others were before looking back to her own mess. He was nearly upon her. But then he vanished and appeared several feet away causing the girl to blink in shock and confusion. The first thing she assured herself of was that Jasper was finally back in the swing of things.

Jack was brought to his knees in no time and wrapped in some kind of rope. Last thing he knew was that he swung his sword at the two only to have it blocked somehow. "What the-" He said as the other girl knocked him in the back of the head, sending him straight to the ground as she continued to wale on his head. Even if he wanted to try and stop the girl he was down and out for the count. The metal of the girls hand bounded into his skull as it slowly began to crack under the weight of the pounding, blood slowly began to drip from the large gash in the back of his head. Everything was dark for Jack now.
Merl lay face first into the ground as some other man appeared, "There the hell did you come from!?" He shouted out as he tried to move only to have a the boys voice echo in his head. "Fine fine..." The man said as he clumsily pushed his sword away from his hand as he felt the boys hand in his neck. Wait... He had claws... That the hell was he doing attack Merl? They were on the same side, or at least they could be. "Boy what are you even doing? Get off of me so we can get the girl! That is the mission after all, do you not remember them telling you this?" Merl said. Since he was unable to turn his head to see the boys face he just had to trust that the claws in his neck were from a fellow Feline.
Gail tumbled to the ground as the woman elbowed him in the back, "Oi! What the 'ell!" He said as he pushed himself up some so he was on all fours only to move his one hand to rub his back some where the woman just hit him. It felt as though she popped something out that shouldn't be popped out. The pain finally hit him as it rocketed up his spine and legs "Ahhhh!!!" He screamed out as the pain caused him to collapse. Just then he heard Merl call out about someone else coming from no where. Turning some he noticed the blue haired boy on Merl's back, "drat it! Merl shut yer trap! Ya not ta say another word!" Gail said as he grabbed something from his pocket and chucked it at Merl, hitting him directly in the side of the head with a sharp, small knife like object (TW III used). Merl fell limp to the ground as the darkness overtook him too. "Like 'ell that I'll let ya tell anymore." He said to himself as he looked over to the woman who brought him down. "We will get 'hat girl."
Zona stood there with a small smirk as Edel said something about her being a trouble magnet, after all it was true. Thought things went from bad to worse to just weird all in a matter of seconds. Standing there Zona stared off with a confused look on her face, "What just happened..." Zona said to herself as she looked at Gail.
Melvan froze and Pierre just stood there as this girl told them not to move. Pierre sighed some as he turned to look at Melvan, "Can you handle this brat? I must be leaving now. If everything went the way i believe it did then I will be needed in moments." Pierre said as he looked over to Melvan. Melvan smiled as he gestured for the taller man to go, "This could be a nice warm up for me." Melvan said as his hands began to get hot, magic flowing through him as fire wanted to form within his palms. Turning some he stared at the girl, smiling all the while. Pierre sighed some as he walked over to the edge of the building, standing there a moment he did a simple double jump and landed on the next nearest building only to then speed off, disappearing in seconds (Speed I and IV used). Melvan smiled as he noticed Pierre disappear out of sight, "So... I guess its just the two of us here, eh?..." He said with a smile as his hands began to spark, and with the snap of his fingers a ball of fire appeared within his hands, "Ya ready to play?" (Pyromancy III used)
Melvan made it to where Gail's group was only to see two of the four men dead, one on the floor and the other standing there. Gus was the only one of the group who was ok to continue as he was. Sighing some Pierre looked around for a moment before letting his body go limp and having another appear behind it (Projection IV used). Jumping down Pierre landed right behind Zona , "My oh my, you have caused us so much trouble." Pierre said as he dusted off his coat and stood up straight, towering the entire group due to his height. Zona felt another presence behind her as the ground seemed to shake slightly, turning around Zona only saw the back of a black suit, "What the..." She began, taking a small step back in the process. Turning around Pierre looked Zona over once before simply waving his hand in front of her face, 'you will black out' (Deceit II used). "It's time for you to come with me." Pierre said as he held out an arm some and simply waited. Zona stared at the man before blacking out and falling into the mans arm limply. "Thank you all for your time, but since I have what I need I shall be off." Pierre said before turning in the direction he had just come from and double jumping back up and onto the roof. (Speed I used)
He set her down for just a moment as his projection disappeared and his original body became lively again. Walking back over to the girl he pulled out a good amount of rope before he tied off the girls hands and feet before picking her back up and hearing the larger group of men arrive, "Right on time." He said as he looked up at the sun for just a moment to see where it was in the sky before turning back and looking in front of them, ready to get going. Gus had been watching the whole time and instead of staying to fight he decided to follow Pierre. Darting off he made his way to the roof and stood next to Pierre as he stared at his watch. Pierre looked over at Gus for a moment before the two began to walk off making their way on the roof tops.
The large group of men split off and surrounded the group. There was at least three to four men for everyone in the small group. All the men stood there ready to go, ready to attack, fight, and die. They came here for one reason and right now that reason was in motion all they needed to do was hold off anyone who tried to follow, even though Pierre was nearly impossible to follow. The men stood, ready and waiting. It was the other groups move.
(Ok just to recap- Jack and Merl are both dead, Gail is lying on the ground ready to pass out, Melvan ready to face the other assassin, Pierre and Gus walking off with Zona, and now everyone is surrounded by feline anders... ya so that happened... Anyway everyone gets about three to four people to control and either fight or kill off, your choice, and I just request that you leave Pierre and Zona be for now, your welcome to follow them (though I ask if that does happen just one of you do that) though you will have to mess with Gus (You can't kill him, Pierre, Melvan, Cyran and Bruce) Hope that makes sense... if ya got any questions just ask in the PM. Thanks!)

Eryn continued until something splattered on her face. she stopped seeing the red coming from the man , she slowly stood as she looked at her fist all the while shacking with panic , Livna let go and look at what Eryn done, she know that they did what they needed to do but she had never saw Eryn liked this before "Eryn are you ok?" she asked ,Eryn just slowly looked up and was about to speak when suddenly a man with a wooden stick ran up and swan it , smashing it across Eryn's back as he tried to hit her head, shattering the stick as it connected. Eryn wheeled forward from the pain but then something changed , she stop shacking , she slowly turned her head and looked at the man with the most cold look to her , empty , focused, snapped.
it was at this Very moment that the Man know ... He Messed up!
Suddenly in a Bust of Speed II Eryn Dashed at the man , jumped on him and let lose what seemed to be 10 some punches on the mans face before Jump kicking off him (UC I) , she quickly looked around for a new target quickly and saw that another nasty man was getting ready to fight another of her friends as well as one who was on the ground who was between her and the new target, so she winded up and Jump into the Air and used Speed I to jump again to get higher , she then used Speed III combined with another Speed I to lunch herself at her new target from above. landing on him with force.
Livna saw this , she was now very worried of what Eryn just did , she looked over the man which Eryn just was on quickly before 2 more men tried to attack her , she quickly jumped back again and this time she found herself a brick , using Telekinesis II to throw the brick at one of the men's face as she jump at the other as she started to attack the other man.

"Wha-?" Jasper exhaled wordlessly as the man fell limp in his hand. Had he squeezed too hard?
"No." He thought to himself silently. The lack of blood and sudden manifestation of the dart in Merl's head was proof enough for that, but what did he say - something about a girl, but who.
This would have been easier if he wasn't surrounded by women - well, women and one ambiguous person he couldn't quite figure out. Then again, who else could it have been? Edelweiss was too smart and both Eryn and Elaine were too innocent, or at least so he thought. There was the new girl, Livna? Maybe she had something to do wit-
Jasper was abruptly pulled from his train of thought by the white flash of a steel blade streaking towards him, its wielder's intent on beheading the pondering assassin exposed by its straightfoward trajectory. The blue-haired feline dove out of the way just in time. Rather than dismembering the cat, the edge snagged a piece of the old leather jacket draped over his torso, tearing a large gash in the garment's beast.
Whilst the juggler's swift thinking, and even swifter reflexes, saved him from sudden death - at the cost of his favorite, and only, jacket - the maneuver not only placed him at the feet of another villainous swordsman but in no position to defend himself as well. As his faceless adversary raised his blade to strike the grounded entertainer, Jasper discovered a flaw in the man's attire: his boots. The toe was reinforced and material was thick and sturdy, probably some kind of proofed leather, but above the ankle, it was thin and could easily be pierced with a moderately sharp blade - or a set of claws.
Almost without thinking, Jasper grabbed the man's leg and squeezed, digging his claws deep into his assailant's calf, before yanking back with all his might. Wincing at the terrible sensation running through his leg, the swordsman lost his balance and toppled backwards, just as Jasper planned. Less than a second later, the juggler rolled out of the way of the man and his weapon, this time careful enough to avoid the man's allies as well. Pushing himself into a crouch, the feline took careful note of his surroundings.
"Six enemies: Two down," Jasper whispered wordlessly as his eyes shifted to the two bodies in his vicinity, one of which clutching his wounded leg, moaning in pain and the other a corpse. He made a conscious effort not to move his lips and give away his intentions, "three to go." He continued, scanning the Anderswelter, slowly encroaching on him.
The assassin rose to his full height, keeping an eye on the men around him. Very discretely, Jasper withdrew one of his juggling knives from the holster on his back and tucked it between his fingers and palm. The men around him didn't notice a thing. Lacing his next gesture with deceit, the blue-haired street performer bared his teeth at the Ander farthest to his right and hissed. "Charge me!" a voice shouted in the man's head (Deceit II used). Throwing caution to the wind, the other feline obeyed the command blindly and rushed Jasper. The assassin remained patient, waiting for the right moment to launch his surprise attack; he delayed his scheme until the man was no more than a yard away. Swinging his arm forward as fast as he possibly could, Jasper whipped the balanced knife at the man's face.
Was the knife sharp? No. Could it kill him? Probably not. Would it hurt if it hit? Vulgar interjection yes!
The handle of the improvised weapon connected with the man's nasal bone with a satisfying "crrrrrack" before Jasper breathed a small sigh of relief, knowing full well he could probably never perform such a feat again. The man fell backward, pained, nose bleeding, and near unconsciousness. Taking advantage of the situation, the juggler-gone-knife-thrower moved a bit closer to the final trio in front of him. His eyes flickered brilliant emerald with malice and before the group had the opportunity to gain any more distance, he struck a simple albeit flawed fighting stance reminiscent to a boxer.
(Did I over do it? I think I over did it...)

The redhead's look of scorn towards Gail was probably the biggest anyone ever saw her pulling. Its intensity could even be compared to Stephen staring at someone who ripped a book's page off to blow their nose in. For all it was worth, she could not fathom how Gail could be so stupid; she had gone to lenghts above what she usually did just to not harm the man too much so that they could still ask him things, just damage the spine so he wouldn't be walking away, and he used that chance of life she gave him to off one of his own companions who had willingly started talking. Brave or dumb? Not even worth bothering to decide. And not worth talking to any longer; they could get a better hostage amid this sea of thugs to ask questions. "We will get 'hat girl.", he said while looking at her. The redhead merely glanced down at him, a quick thought of "You won't." crossing her mind as her boot settled on the man's neck and pressed till she heard that unsettling noise of bone snapping. See you in next life. Though Edelweiss had to fight the urge to facepalm as Zona had just stood there still until a man came to her, knocked her out cold, and took her away. "You're a bloody Winged Ander, Zona! Why didn't you fly away from the beginning?!" She mentally groaned, but focused her attention on the four that were currently surrounding her own self. At least one of those should be smarter than that dumb fresh corpse, or she hoped so. Her hands slipped back within her pockets and out again, the flicker of needles and the sharp wire tied to them (TW III) tossed and pulled into an almost invisible twirl as the redhead spun to the side (and the threads along). Aiming for the thugs' eyes, though they might end up with anything from sliced wrists or throats or random face cuts depending on if they can see what's coming and if/how they try to block or evade it.
J Wellson was standing at the back of that strange group as he watched it divide itself in smaller groups to fight each of the assassins - except for the lone guy who was facing Pearl. He and Pearl had been dispatched as backup when the other CAEsAL informants detected something fishy going on in the district, and oddly enough it seemed the fact the two of them were Felines helped them blend in amid the opponents like two needles in a haystack. Strange, all of those blokes being Feline too; was this some sort of gang? His glowing red eyes settled on Edelweiss for a second. She seemed busy, but he got a nod from her after a couple seconds. 'Do your job.' Yes, that's what he'd do. An informant's duty was to inform, not outright battle, although Pearl would be stuck for the moment. He turned around on his heels and ran off, following on the trail of the guy who took Diva and the mini person with the wretched plush toy. His job would be to find out where they were going, then report back.
Pearl hissed, fangs bared in a way less ladylike fashion than she'd have liked being seen. The two men didn't listen to her when she had told them to stay put - though it was kind of expected. She pondered she should have just stabbed both in their backs when she had the chance, but too late now. One of them went away, and she couldn't give chase while keeping an eye on the other... which meant J was right and she was stuck having to fight Melvan. The guy summoned a fire ball and asked if she was 'ready to play'. "No." She stared back, lacing that single word with a spell. A simple, yet intense, excruciating command Edel had taught for emergencies: "Pain." [Deceit II casted once]

Elaine brandished her weapons looking about but she noticed the one man beginning to talk to Jasper as if he was part of their group. 'A plan? This was all a stage!' She thought as she began to step forwards but before she could reach him a knife lodged itself in the side of his skull. Elaine slowed staring at the dead man under the assassins' hands. Who would kill one of their own? Thudding footsteps behind her signaled a man in a sprint. No time to find out right now.
She snapped back to reality as she felt a blade whistle it's way towards her shoulders. Her attention was forced away from Jasper to the feline trying to take her head off her body. The green eyed feline immediately dropped down as the sword passed through the air where she should have been. She twisted and with a hard swipe of her foot she knocked the legs out from under her attacker, dropping him to the street with a yelp. Elaine would waste no time with these enemies. They have already proven they were determined and willing to die. She leaped onto the man's chest and delivered a swift final slice through his throat. She crouched over him scanning the area around her and setting tabs on the next two men but unable to see the third. He used this to his advantage and charged. Somewhere in the background she had registered that Zona had somehow disappeared. She couldn't hear the winged Ander's taunting voice anywhere. "Zona? Where the hell are you!" But her missing friend was the least of her worries.
Jumping forwards the man behind her wrapped an arm around the girl's neck intending to pull her back and she was forced to drop her daggers, this left her as a free target for his comrades. Elaine felt an arm tighten around her neck and pull her back. SHe struggled for a moment as he heaved her to her feet and pulled her back. One of the other two stepped forwards intending on taking easy revenge for his friend laying in his own blood. He charged at the subdued girl with a scowl and was met with a strong kick to the gut as she used the man holding her for leverage and picked up her feet to lash out against him. The one she'd hit doubled over with a gasp and the man holding her growled tightening his hold. As the pressure increased Elaine thought frantically. "Let go! You're killing me!" (Deceit I used) She cried weaving magic into her plea. She began to go limp feigning the loss of her life easily. Each struggling blow weaker than the last. After a year wandering the Theater District you pick up a few acting tips.
The man felt triumphant as she "slipped into darkness". His friends snickered, the one she'd hit slowly beginning to right himself. The stout feline's death grip around her throat lessened. Just the cue the girl needed. She arched her back hard and slammed her head into the man's face. With a strangled cry he let her go to place a hand over his nose, which was now bleeding heavily. His curses brought her a hint of satisfaction as she dropped to the ground on her feet and rolled forwards to get herself some space. The two others not bothered with the bloody, possibly broken nose stopped in shock as she calmly stood and nonchalantly took her gloves off. Pale claws gleaming as they were revealed. "Didn't your mum ever tell you it was wrong to hit a girl?" She asked watching the anger flash on their faces. "It's rude. And you never know when she might hit back!" Elaine threw herself at the nearest one locking herself into a close hand to hand fight.
The exchange of blows was hard and fast both of them trying to land a decent hit. The man, frustrated, finally lashed out harshly towards her arm. She grit her teeth as his claws left four gashes in her arm but the movement also left him open. With hardly contained fury she struck out towards his face, her claws catching home across his brow. He staggered back and she advanced aiming another blow to his shoulder causing him to hiss and raise an arm to defend himself. The assassin feigned a kick and he backed up out of instinct lowering his arms to try and stop the phantom blow to his stomach. Only when he looked up again did he realize his mistake. Elaine pulled a knife from her belt and arced it down towards his chest. He gasped and gurgled as he slowly dropped to the ground, the blades hilt protruding from his ribs. The girl standing over him cast a dark, soulless stare over her shoulder. "I dare you." She growled.
(I hope this is satisfactory and makes up for my absence! )
The men Cyran brought with were quickly dwindling in numbers. Not only were they lying dead or knocked out but others began to run off, fearing for their lives. Only a few men remained, mainly the ones stupid enough to keep fighting while the others split running in all directions. No one was going anywhere specific and it could be seen clear as day that even if they did have a place to go they had no clue how to get there. Many ran down dead ends only to be seen moments later running out the same way. Clark had been watching the whole thing from a far. Scared and nervous, frightened and angry. He wanted to run out there and pound all of their faces in for what they had done to his team mates but he knew he couldn't never last ten seconds against the weakest on in that group, whoever that may be...
As he clutched he radio in his hand he looked around, scared to call but having a gut feeling he should. "Melvan. Melvan come in. Everyone is gone! I repeat everyone is gone! All the men are either dead or ran off, this group is too good! We are all going to die!!" Clark cried out, a bit louder than he should have making it easy for anyone around or even in the area to hear. A thought came to him though as he grabbed the radio again. "But Pierre came. I repeat Pierre came! And he caught the bird. The bird is caught." He added before looking around once more. he didn't really see if anyone was coming he was just really running though the motions he was told to do. "Meet you back with Cyran." He called in to the radio one last time, before turning his back to the open end of the alleyway to put his radio down.
Melvan smiled as the girl hissed at him. Even though her lips said 'no' everything else seemed to be saying 'yes' and with that Melvan couldn't help but smile. Though his smile quickly faded as a sudden pain overtook him. Doubling over slightly he tried to pin point the location of the pain but couldn't, it just seemed like everything hurt. The fire in his hand quickly began to fade as the pain Melvan felt grew stronger, then he realized something. "Your a drat Ander... Aren't you?" He asked as his smile grew back on his face, and the flame in his hands slowly began to grow. Melvan stood up some as the pain slowly began to fade, "I guess your ten seconds are up." He said with a smile as his radio began to buzz. It was sitting on the ground behind the girl as a message began to come through, "Melvan. Melvan come in. Everyone is gone! I repeat everyone is gone! All the men are either dead or ran off, this group is too good! We are all going to die!!"
Melvan narrowed his eyes at the radio then the girl as a deep grunt like noise came from him, "Just great... What in the hell am I going to tell the boss..." He said as his anger began to bubble inside of him. Taking a small step Melvan began to run at the girl with a rather large fire ball in hand. The fire roared wildly as his anger grew, everything seemed to be connected. Taking one final and deep set Melvan threw the ball right at her, hoping his aim would be true and hit his target (Up to you on whether or not the fire ball hits).
As the flames from the fire faded some another message quickly came in through the radio, "But Pierre came. I repeat Pierre came! And he caught the bird. The bird is caught.-- Meet you back with Cyran." Melvan stood still for a moment as his arms rested at his side. though he wanted to stay and fight that was his cue that he needed to go. Taking a few step backs Melvan smiled as he looked at the girl, "Well its been a real blast, but I think I have to go now." Melvan said as he quickly threw out another fireball, this one smaller and aimed at a different target. (Pryo III used 2 times) The fireball hit the small radio that lay behind the girl, which, due to the tech hates magic thing, caused the small thing to burst into flaming pieces of who knows what. The pieces landed everywhere causing many things to catch fire. This gave Melvan time to dive off the roof and into an alleyway were he then darted off, making sure he wasn't being followed.
Cyran was staring out the window when a small knock was heard on the door. Turning some Cyran smiled as Bruce opened then closed the door, allowing Pierre to walk into the room with a still unconscious blue haired ander in his arms. "Perfect." Cyran said as he stood up and took a few steps forward, "You know where to put her." Cyran said with a smile as he watched Pierre walk over to a large wooden chair. The chair was larger than any normal chair and had a few 'alterations to it. For instance the back of the chair only came up about half way and rested in the middle, if not slightly lower part of a persons back. It also had a nice pair of metal cuffs attached to the arms of the chair. As Pierre set Zona down in the chair he began to untie just her wrists leaving her feet tied, after all the cuffs on the chair couldn't do much if her hands were tied. Cyran watched as he circled around the two, "Before you strap her in, I want that jacket off." He said as he went back to where he was to begin with. Pierre did as he was told and then strapped the girl in just as she was beginning to come too. The door opened again as Melvan walked in this time, "Your nearly missed the fun." Cyran said with a smile.
Her head was foggy and everything was a bit blurry. She had dealt with deceit spells before but this one was a bit stronger than normal. As she looked around the room a familiar voice began to speak, "Ahh... Look who has finally decided to join us." Cyran said as Zona looked up and over to him. His face slowly began to come into focus as he spoke, Zona's mouth only dropped as the wind was knocked out of her, "What the..." She tried to say as she stared at the man. Anger swept over her as she stared at the rat in front of her, "How Dare You!!" She called out as she squirmed in her chair, desperate to get out. "How dare you come here!" She called out again not bothering to keep her voice low or calm, even if she could she wouldn't.
Cyran smiled some as he watched the girl become enraged. "Now that is no way to treat an old family friend, now is it?" He asked as he walked up to Zona and placed a hand on the girls cheek. Zona cringed as she tired to pull away but with the restraints and his firm grip that seemed a bit pointless. She growled some as the man touched her. "My oh my how you have grown..." He said and a smooth voice, as he turned her head some, looking her over, "I see the scars never went away... That's a shame too..." He said as he gripped her face a little tighter, placing his thumb over her left eye, "Besides the eyes your face looks just like Lily's..." He smiled, not letting go. "How Dare you say her name you bastard!" Zona said as she tired to shake her head free. Cyran's smile quickly faded as Zona spoke, "How dare you speak to me like that!" He said as he dug his claws into the girls skin some. He pulled his hands away some as his thumb went straight down, causing a large gash to appear right over Zona's eye. Grunting some Zona stared up at the man, blood slowly dripping from the gash as Zona's vision went red. "Well... Looks like you have a new scar to go with the rest." Cyran said with yet another smile.
"You know..." Cyran began as he stepped around behind Zona. "I know winged Anders all have unique tattoos to hide their wings but I've always wondered... What happens if that tattoo gets damaged?" He asked as he looked down at the girl, with her jacket off her back was exposed, leaving the tattoo which hid her wings exposed to the world as well. Zona couldn't help but freeze, as memories began to play back in her head. All her anger and rage left as her eye slowly began to fill with tears. "You already know that answer..." She said as she stared off in the distance. "Oh I don't think your mother counted for that. Your father was a definite no since his wings were out but you mother... Well I would just like to be sure." He said as a twisted smile came over his face as he walked back around to the front of her, dragging his claw along her back in the process. A chill went up her spine as he did this, and a single tear dripped down her cheek.
Cyran leaned over her once he was in front of the girl, smiling all the while. "I've always had so many questions for you, but alas I always thought you were dead... But here we are! One big happy family again." He said in a rather dark voice. Something snapped in Zona when he said that and in one quick move Zona had somehow gotten the rope off from her one foot and managed to lodge it in the side of Cyran's face, causing him to stumble back. Everyone was shocked at what just happened and Melvan ran over to the girl and grabbed her shoulders, pulling her back and holding her against the chair. "You Frakin' bastard! How could you say something like that! You frakin' murdered my parents and left me to die on the streets!! If I didn't learn quick I would have and you wouldn't have to deal with me now!" Zona screamed at the man as she tried to push herself forward, able to do so but struggled due to the hands holding her back.
Cyran stared at the girl with wide eyes, somewhat shocked by what she did by more in awe. Turning some he looked over to Pierre with a looked that screamed 'the girl will die'. Pierre nodded and walked over to Zona grabbing the leg that just kicked Cyran and holding the other down with his foot. "Wrong move..." Melvan said as the two of them watched Cyran get up. "I was going to start with you wings but since you insist on doing this the hard way, I guess we will do this a bit differently." He said in a rather deranged voice as he pulled out a large knife from off a nearby table. Walking over to Zona he looked down at her just for a second before taking the knife and stabbing it into the calf of her right leg. Pain shot through her leg as Zona tried to hold back a scream only to let out a weird grunt/deeper sounding scream that only lasted for seconds. "Just to let you know I've perfected my swing." He said as a wicked smile came across his face, his left hand tapping on the knife that was lodged in Zona's calf.
Something slowly began to change around his hands as he drew them closer together, a small green glow began to come from them. His skin began to bubble as the sound of cracking bones was heard. "I've also learned a few extra tricks too..." Cyran said as a large two handed sword began to form withing his hands. It seemed to be made of flesh and bone, the sharpest part of the sword being cut from the bone where as the handle of the object seemed to be more of the fleshy part, an odd green aura came from the object. Lifting the sword up over his head he smiled as she stared at the girl, fear overtook her as she knew what he was about to do. With all his weight he slammed the weapon down and hit dead center in the middle of the girls thigh. with the weight of the weapon and force Cyran drove it down with the sword went in about halfway through the bone. Zona screamed as the blade hit and dug into her flesh and bone, a fiery pain shot up through her leg and pulsed though out her whole body, she could feel everything, and at the same time couldn't hold her wings in any more either. Melvan jumped out of the way as the girl's black and teal wings shot out, and with them out know she could feel every feather, every movement, everything that made her who she was. Every move the man made with the sword was amplified, the slightest touch on it, Zona could feel, and the pain that came with a simple twitch of a finger on the weapon was enough to make her want to pass out. But she couldn't... Not yet.... She would push on, through the pain, thought she knew it wouldn't last for long (UC IV used)... She had unfinished business with this guy. She would push on as the man began to saw through her leg, with each pass of the blade the pain got worse and the closer he got to reaching the other side of the bone, to reaching the soft meaty side that would be the only thing connecting her leg to her body until...
With one final scream the pain dulled ever so slightly, though she could no longer tell were exactly it was coming from whether it was her leg, her head, her arm, her side, she had no idea. All she did know was that she could Pierre toss something off to the side and Cyran standing over her with a wicked smile on his face. He said something though Zona couldn't hear him through the ringing of her ears, though it seemed like his lips said...
"Who really needs their legs anyway?"

The tall man doubled over in pain, and Pearl took the chance to punch his nose. She had a small, dainty fist so that wasn't bound to be particularly painful, but he was unpleasant and she wanted to punch him. "And you're dumb." Of course she was an Ander, and proud to be, thank you very much. Humans don't have claws, nor glowing eyes. Someone shouted from a radio, and the guy hesitated while listening to it, which made his fireball low enough for her to duck away from it. The next ones fried the radio though, and still caught her hat while she dodged, burning it to a crisp. drat, she liked that hat. And the man ran away, faster than her legs could follow. Pearl sighed and turned around, figuring the best course of action would be to regroup now. And report to Edel.
----- The shouting voice didn't pass unnoticed, radio or not the man had been loud enough to be heard. Edelweiss had had enough with her opponents, a series of small circles of bodies dropped around the assassins while whoever survived in that assailants bunch was running for their lives (or at least trying to, hurrying through the streets and alleys of her district like dizzy cockroaches). With the mess and fire around not only the remaining informants of the district were free to move, but also the official bouncers of the place were out to do their jobs as well. This was the Theater District, filled to the brim with magic users who lived and work here - they couldn't afford having a fuss large enough to call EIRAL's attention. "Take any stragglers to Office 9, I'll see to them later." She informed a random bouncer who approached, and then to the informants that were now flocking from the shadows around. "And bring a dispatch team of Deceit users. I want the streets clean of bodies and any witnesses - bystanders, customers or passerbies - perfectly unaware of what happened within the next hour." And that being said, now the redhead had both free space and time enough to focus on the guy with the radio. He had sputtered out information though she hadn't even asked first. The man who took Zona is called Pierre. The one she was being taken to is called Cyran. The one whom radio-dude called for help (and who was facing Pearl) is Melvan. And, of course, this man with the radio knows things.
This one would be enough, and if he was using tech he is either human or a halfling with human prevalence, which was about the same. Catch an Andersweltler, tie them down, blindfold and gag them, leave them stark naked if you will - and they would still be dangerous, because there's no clear way of telling how much magic they know and how many casts they can use against you. But a human? Strip their weapons away and tie them to a chair, and they'd be relatively innofensive. Radio-guy was the perfect hostage. He turned his back to fuss with the radio, and as he did she had already darted to him. Knocking someone's lights out from behind wasn't hard; just a hit on the base of the neck and being careful to not kill them with that, that's it, the person would be KOed for a couple hours. Pearl came in a couple seconds later, so Edelweiss wouldn't even have to bother moving the unconscious body on her own. "Reporting, roof man escaped - but J is on his way back, he finished tracking Diva." "Alright. This one goes to Office 0." She pointed to the fainted Clark. "Tie him up and take him, I'll be back soon."
----- J Wellson kept his best pokerface while he'd followed Pierre and little Gus, although inside he felt disgusted at them. Those two made their way to meet a third man while carrying Diva like if she was a sack of potatoes, stripped her jacket off and tied her up. Some stuff about her past and a lot of 'how dare yous' and wing threats he mentally filed while watching and listening to everything from outside the door, to be able to list it later if needed even though he couldn't understand everything that was going on. Swearing, swearing, wing threat, something about third man killing her parents, swearing, smug faces, more swearing and Diva pulled out an awesome flying kick on the third man's face by untying one of her feet without them having noticed. Then a miffed-but-still-smug face and long threat, and a knife impaled Diva's leg. She screamed. By this point J turned around from the door, walking off normally with a posture that said this wasn't his business and he wasn't interested in watching it. Once he hit the corridor though, he darted off and out the nearest window, flipping through the roofs in a straight line back to where the group of CAEsAL assassin had first been attacked to report back: "Diva's being tortured. High damage. Need rescue." Minimal amount of words while Pearl was dragging a man from an alley (was he unconscious or dead?) and Edelweiss gave him attention.
The redhead looked back at Elaine, Jasper and Eryn. They needed to move, now, and get Zona back. Leave the rest of the thugs for the CAEsAL bouncers to catch, and J could report what he saw (word by word) while leading the way to where Zona is being kept.
"All power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." - John Dalberg-Acton
heavy breathing came from Eryn as she stood over a body of one of the men , the one she jumped , as her eyes had locked on to 3 more men who had watched her beat the living daylights out of him. the colors of black and red was splattered over her face and some over her clothes as she started to walk slowly towards them. she could see the men where scared as one of them branded a small knife "s stay Back!" he shouted. Eryn without thinking used Telekinesis I to pull the knife away from the man , from out of his hand and away from him .it was then the men started to run.
Livna had taken care of the 2 she was fight , she looked over to Eryn. seeing the mess she was in as she moved over to her "Eryn ... are you ok?" Livna asked. Eryn slowly looked over to Livna as she slowly start to shake again , she nodded as she looked down at her hand now covered. she know what she did, but she know it was right to do. since they attacked 1st . it was then Eryn started to look around as she could not find Zona "z Zona?!?" Eryn shouted as she looked around , something was not right . in all the fighting she had lost track of her friends and was more focused on putting the men to sleep. Eryn quickly ran over to Edelweiss "Mama , Zona is gone!?!" she said forgetting the mess she was in , at this moment Zona was her worry , one of her best friends and one who could she owed a lot to.
Livna followed , but her worry was split , one part for Zona and the other for Eryn , how innocent was Eryn ? she didn't fully know what Eryn did for her job , but maybe it was not a reason to ask , hopefully she hoped Eryn had not ended up like a monster ...

Elaine felt a headache coming on but shook her head stubbornly. She as the others ran like chickens with their head cut off she looked around feeling her stomach twist sharply. There was the unsettling lack of a winged Ander in the area. Stepping around her victims she picked up her daggers and twisted them to let them slide into their sheaths with a soft scraping sound. She retrieved her other smaller knife and wiped it off on the man's shirt before slipping it into the side of her belt. Elaine placed a hand over the gashes on her arm and made her way over to Edel and Eryn feeling them give a dull sting. CAEsAL spies and bouncers roamed about cleaning up the mess that had spawned today. She sniffed as she stepped over the blood pooling around the limp forms on the ground. That was a planned attack... but why? The feline Ander bit her tongue and turned her gaze upwards. "Which way?" Elaine said narrowing her eyes in concentration. They had to get her back before anything killed her friend. Before she got her answer she spoke up again kicking out at a dead body near her feet. "Whoever has her will have hell to pay." Elaine muttered watching her leader for the command to move.

Jasper watched in confusion as his opponents began to withdraw from their skirmish along with the others. He looked around just in time to catch a perfect view of Elaine planting a dagger between a man's ribs. He wrote a mental note to congratulate her on that later, after all this was over. After the last of the men had finally fled out of Jasper's sight, the juggler dropped his stance and made his way over to his guildleader and his other companions - sans a certain winged Ander of identical hair color. He would have panicked if not for the swift wit of his superior. If Edelweiss had a plan for the corpses riddling the street, she (he?) obviously had to have some kind of info on Zona.
"Where is she? Do we have a plan?" He asked his first-in-command, hoping she had even the beginnings of a plan.
