Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Caitlin turned to Edel with a smile at the ready. She was always genuinely happy to see her old friend, but not so happy that she would relinquish one of her own crew. "Proud to say she is," Caitlin answered as she lifted her arms wide for a hug. "This talented young lady has been playing off and on for our sailors when the opportunity affords itself. Though I can't stake a claim on the other musician," she looked over at the man. "He's a skilled one though for sure,"
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
Ikuze blinked as the red-head seemed to almost sound as if she were trying to hire her on the spot, until Caitlin came up and claimed her as hers. If they start pulling my arms in different directions, I'll know this is some crazy dream... although a very weird one. the thief thought to herself before looking between the two women, trying to figure out exactly what to say. "Umm... well... if you're offering a gig or two... I suppose I could... come and play. If that'd be alright with the boss that is I mean..." she said, the last part rather quickly in case she accidently gave the impression that she was trying to jump ship to use a phrase.

"Oh yes, indeed he is." She chuckled and nodded when Cait mentioned Stephen being a skilled musician. "I'd say I should claim him then, but I don't think he'd really be interested in having his 'musical skills' for hire. Anyway, sorry then, I swear I'll not steal any workers from you." She then turned to look at both Ikuze and Caitlin instead of only the second one. "Well if you still want to do a gig around here anyday and can't find a decent place, just look for me - I'll look for somewhere nice that can take you in for playing your guitar. But am I guessing right you two didn't come here only for the show? "

"Not initially, thought now that you mention it I have to ask, have you seen Sarah?" Caitlin looked at Edel with hopeful eyes. Surely if anyone knew where the girl was hiding, this was that someone.
(sorry short post is short)

"... No, I haven't." The redhead shook her head in denial. "She crashed at my home for a while, something to do with not having money enough to stay elsewhere, but then she left again with no warning and this has been quite a long while ago. I had thought she had gone on a trip with you or the likes."
(this rp trend is happening before The Festival of Hearts, right?)

(Right) Caitlin gave a heavy sigh. "No she hasn't been with me or mine. She's a solo act sometimes, hard to keep tethered to anyone for long, but she's loyal, so I hold out hope she'll be back." Caitlin's eyes appraised Edel and she smiled weakly. "I'm sorry it took so long for me to swing by this way. It has been ages, hasn't it? Oh and of course it would be perfectly alright with me if you found an opening for our talented young miss. All she has to do is let me know if she's booked and I'll take her off the ledger at the docks. Easy as pie. I'll even swing in for the performance, time willing."

The young thief was about to give her thanks for the opportunity for more gigs, when a voice from the dissipated crowd caused her to groan, tilting her head back in the process to show her exasperation. "Great... thought he'd just stop at his bloody door like the others did... Guess not." she grumbled before she looked at the two women. "I'll see you back at the ship Miss... And I'll come back to play for you Miss Edel, when the heat dies down a little." she said with a quick curtsey before hightailing it away as the manager from earlier had stormed towards them, growling as his quarry got away again. "Bloody filth..." he grumbled before beginning to head back towards his establishment.
