Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
(open to all, anyone who wants to chat or start drama)
(Livna will be in this one (NPC)
it was another cold rainy day in lodan . the streets where empty as people took cover in houses and shops , under umbrellas and covers to keep themselves dry. everyone except two little girls , both white as snow , both wearing goggles , one was dressed in red and black while the other was in blue and black. a matching pair. Eryn was showing Livna around as the 2 chatted about events that had happened in the past few days.
"well its odd thing , how people here have a man who shows them new things when they give him shiny things" Eryn said as she sheared her doughnuts " well that makes scene , the doctor told me they where called teachers who you give shiny things to who then shows you that stuff , but i dont get why the shiny things? " Livna said as she chomped on a doughnut "shiny things up here have something that make value , like how i got these , i gave shinys for these " Eryn said as she pointed at the bag with her head to save using her magic to move her fake arn. "but why the shinys , they dont have a reason to have the shiny things , like they cant eat them , you can throw them they make a ping sound but they dont make sence why someone wants shiny and pings." Livna replied as they walked down the street without a care in the world , talking and arguing over shiny things. it seemed like it was gonna be another rainy normal day.

"ack." The seasons were changing. and the city was starting to feel the stress of not only the martial law, but the funneling of goods into and out of their trade channels. They didn't have a complete fix on it all just yet. and even once they did corner their own markets, the army still had the railroad to regulate supply and satisfy demand. Caitlin was tired, and cranky, and for the moment... she was alone. Which was exactly why she'd gone out in this dreadful weather to find one of her guildmates. She had to send a message, and she had a job that needed done - and this particular gig, she couldn't do herself.
Caitlin stopped on a corner of some shops in the entertainment district. There were all sorts of curious things to be found in their windows. A palm reading sign on this side of the street, puppets hanging on strings staring out into the dismal day on the other side. Above these ground level shops were levels of apartments, mostly homes for the shop workers and entertainers of the district. She rarely came down here anymore, it had been some months. Two little girls sat under umbrellas and spoke lightly to each other despite her approach. She looked them over quickly, ever mindful of freelance sticky fingers, but then her eyes moved on knowing any thieves that young wouldn't be one of hers, she didn't employ children in the brotherhood. She continued scanning the intersection with her eyes. Which way should she go?
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
The rain beat down upon the district along with the rest of the city or at least he could only suspect so because of the sizes of the dark clouds that reigned over their heads. Uriah himself standing outside window shopping outside of a musical shop, questioning if he should pay fourth the moment to getting a new instrument along with lessons to keep him preoccupied during this new season. Fawna most likely hated this time because of all the rain and the weight it puts on ones wings but luckily for Uriah the man didn't have to worry about recreational flying all to often except for when duty called or he had a plan to meet up with his other Ander friend.
"...Oh boy." He spoke out in a longing manner for the cello in front of his eyes taunted him every time he had passed the store. Oh how he wanted it but making the time for it was difficult. "To hell with it." The man walked into the store and in within a handful of minutes he found himself in a heated negotiation with the clerk over the exact prices and how he could work out a deal to find a tutor for a combined price. Never the less when the man stepped outside of the building he wore a wide smile upon his face before raising his umbrella up over his head. With the curfew in place he could spend time practicing in his home in peace and rely on a tutor with a pass or capable of other methods of getting to him for practice. Requesting that the instrument be delivered to his location later that day Uriah was more than excited for nightfall since this whole mess started.
Walking in any random direction his legs felt like leading him in, the man soon found himself looking almost face to face with a very familiar figure. One that had plucked him from the dock and given him a pair of sea legs to float around with while getting shot at which was his most favorite part of the activity. Though he did not blame her anything and welcomed the opportunity to be aboard her crew even if his attentions were known to her or not. "Afternoon madame. Pleasure to see you once again... Alone for once." The man took a moment during his speech to look around the abandoned streets to notice that her second; Harold was not following her or at least from his visible view. His jade gaze looked over to two children who seemed to just be enjoying their time even if a downpour could get in their way.
as Eryn and Live made to the end to the street, Eryn took the chance to look around , it was then she was someone who looked familiar, she quickly realized as the woman who spotter from before, this was something Eryn had a panic , on one hand Eryn when she was spotted by this lady from before , Eryn was wearing her spy gear as well as having both her hood up and goggle on , now she was in different clothing and new shape maybe she didn't recognize her. on the other if the lady could identify her , she could and would report that the hooded girl was Eryn and then the nasty men would come after her.
lucky for Eryn a man shouted and went over to the woman , Eryn took the chance and took Livna's hand the quickly took her out of view of the woman and man "h hay Ery.." livna asked as Eryn quickly put a finger to her lips and pointed to them "that lady , she spotted me before while i was a spy and trying to find a queen of the sea " Eryn whispered. Eryn though of what she could do, she could ask around about her but there was more risk , she could follow her and see where she goes but at the rick that would suck Livna into this mess too. Eryn decided maybe if ask everyone later on back at the theater they know and let them deal with it if if its a problem if there was a problem at all.
Livna looked around the corner to see the lady in question , she seem familiar, from one of them News papers thing the doctor was always reading time again , she remembers the doctor reading out about the baron and baroness in the fashion of worth part of the paper , she didn't want to say anything since she had a feeling the woman in question was good person. maybe she was out and about to enjoy her self.

Alone for once? Why did that have a weird ring to it? She watched him watch the children scamper away, and it set her on edge. She eyed him suspiciously. "I'm not alone, you're here, and last time I checked, you were one of my own. Or has that changed?" Maybe his trial had been too bloody and he already wanted out. That would prove problematic, since the only way out of the brotherhood was through death or amnesia, and since he'd recognized her first, he certainly didn't have the latter.

Uriah curiously raised an eyebrow to her words and the way Caitlin seemed to be acting around him. Perhaps he unnerved her by his words which might of been something he would to take some time to work on for it could cause communication problems in the future. "Huh? I mean't nothing ill of it madame. It was simply an observation since I did not expect to catch you about so casually. What brings you out on such a day like this?" He smiled lightly, raising his right arm the man sweeped it in front of him as though to part a curtain to the dreadful conditions of the day.
"Hmm.. I could of sworn there was some kids here." Tilting his head he quickly scratched the back of his head not really sure where they had run off to but that really wasn't something of necessity to know such information but it only took a moment before he turned his attention back to the captain. "..You don't trust me do you?" He figured he might as well be straight forward about it since the two of them met under such stance circumstances as it was then to go into battle shortly after was something he wouldn't put up on his wall as a great memory and the way she had stated her sentence only brought fourth such doubt in his mind.

"Sorry, but it wasn't long ago the Ripper made two attempts on my life, and he was admitted to my own guild, so I do have a bit of trouble trusting new members nowadays. It will pass the longer you're among us, Im sure." He was right though, there had been kids here a moment ago, and now they were no where to be seen.

Livna kept looking at the woman , she really wanted to know who she was fully " ok Eryn stay here , it not like i will be in any trouble. I mean I am a nurse after all " she said as she carefully pushed Eryn off and walked over to the 2 "e excuse me Ms?" she asked being careful of her mannerisms
Eryn watched as her Livna began to talk to her, she hoped she know what she was doing as they did look alike and if the lady though she was her then things may get messy.
