<Serenade-Clue>Clue: Her lips curved into a frown, and as Avery slid down next to her, she sighed. "This is so frustrating," Clue whined, shaking her head and crumpling up the note. She moved on to the note that the bird had been carrying. "...." After reading it, Sarah caught her attention. ....The worst possible time. She stuffed the notes away into her dress and kicked the dead bird aside, out of view. "We're playing a game. Go hide," she said with a smile and a small laugh. "You found us~! ....Gotta go." She shot off of the roof through the door, quickly going down the stairs. Oh, where the hell was Free? Clue whipped out her hand, holding it open. She closed her eyes; a tingling feeling went down her arm, and then flashes of light appeared in her opened hand. Her staff materialized, the large moon with a small puff of black smoke. "This is ridiculous," she grumbled, making her way out of the building.
<Serenade-Clue>: Another arrow shot out of nowhere, hitting the ground right in front of Free's feet. To it, attached another note. This arrow was golden, embellished with expensive jewels and detailed carvings.
<Sylris>Avery: Avery moved to the side of the building towards the exit when "Alexandra" went back dfownstairs. He seemed to be quite intent on following her, despite her obvious attempts to shake Sarah, at least. He spoke up to her he looked down. "If you're interested ...Follow her through the streets. I'll keep watch above. ...And don't get yourself hurt, it could fun." He caught himself when he said this, and quickly corrected it. "...Serious. Could be serious." He let out a chuckle.
<Ayuuria> *as he walked cautiously down the street, making no intention to enter the alleyways, Free kept his senses up looking around until suddenly the arrow came flying to the front of his feet. He jumped back in surprise and froze for a moment before cautiously taking the arrow and removing the note from it* Man this is one fancy arrow =A=;
<Coffee-sama>Sarah: "Hiding? What kind of stupid excuse--" She didn't finished her sentence, when the woman dissappeared through the stairs. "... So fast" Then turned to see to Avery, and crossed her arms "Ha, ha, ha" Laughed sarcastically, and smiled to him "As if you really care. But same goes to you" She saluted and let down, jumping over the roofs instead of taking the stairs, considering it 'faster', and with fair reason, she was already with Free before there were any sign of the girl. "A fancy one?" She said with the golden arrow somehow already on her hands.
<Serenade-Clue>Clue: She looked down the road - a whip of a arrow sounded through the air. Lolno, she wasn't gonna go that way. With a turn on her heel, she went the opposite direction, turning down into an alley. It was dark, cramped, and smelly. Her staff was tight in her hands as she forced her way through. She knew what was coming, and she was ready for it - but when it came, it sure hurt a lot more than she thought it would. A dart in the side of her neck, and she slipped into unconsciousness, as well as into the arms of a shadow.
<Serenade-Clue>: The note reads: Welcome, newcomer. You have been entered into a game. You have chosen the name of "Freestyle" and are assisting the one you know as "Clue." Refrain from breaking the rules while maintaining your existence within this game. The girl beside you, Sarah, has also been entered. Good luck.
<Sylris>Avery: The man followed along the rooftops as he watched "Alexandra" below. Following along as silently as he could. He expected more of a chase. Instead, a shadow seemed to have attacked not long after she had started. The girls crumpled body fell into the silhouette's arms As Avery watched. He kept a close watch and intended to follow the shadow. But if any weapons were drawn on the unconscious female, he would be ready.
<Ayuuria> *he slightly bared his teeth at the note* Game... what the hell does he mean... *he whipped his head around upon hearing Sarah's voice. He looked at the note for a moment and then back at her. There was an almost angry look on his face* I told you to get out of here! Why didn't you do as I said earlier?!
<Serenade-Clue> 2: The silhouette's head snapped up, seemingly staring straight at Avery. From somewhere within the alley, another arrow ripped through the sky - except, this one didn't have a note, and was aimed right for Avery's forehead.
<Serenade-Clue>Sarah: She stared at him surprised. Never expected to see him angry at any moment. Then imitated his mood and frowned "What kind of girl do you think I am!? I wouldn't leave just like that without knowing what was going on! I'm not coward, and it's time that you know it Free!" She got closer to him, and pointed right to his face. "Never EVER think I would just turn and walk away. Even less when it has to be with friends." Took two or three steps away and sighed "Now, tell me what the heck is happening"
<Sylris>Avery: The man let out a surprised yelp as he bent overbackwards, falling flat onto the rooftop with a thud. He then quickly rolled to the ledge for cover and peered over to keep the female in sight, and to possibly spot the shooter, expecting another arrow to fly at any moment.
<Ayuuria> *he sighed and rubbed the back of his head troubled* Look even I don't know what's going on... *he hands the note to her, seeing as she was now caught up in this mess and whispered to himself* I'll have to alert the rest of the guild about this..
<Serenade-Clue>: The large man looked up at Avery, a look of pure hatred across his face. “Rat…,” he began arduously, struggling to keep himself propped up. “Is the lowest creature that one can become. Something disgusting, wretched, and only useful for toying with.” A grin spread across his face, and he added, “Unfortunately for you, that last part will be extremely painful on your part.” All at once, he let go of the edge, falling through the air towards the ground. But before he could splat into the alley, another puff of green smoke clouded him, and he reappeared right behind Avery. His fist was pulled back, ready to land a hard punch across his face.
<Sylris>Avery: As Avery saw the man vanish in a puff of smoke yet again, he thought. Unintelligent. Strong. Direct attacks. Prideful nature that is cause to like to ignore rules of combat. Avery jumped back hard, hoping to get inside the range of a possible long-armed attack, planning on unsheathing a dagger and stabbing it through the back of the cloak the instant he felt himself collide.

<Serenade-Clue>: The dagger made direct contact with the man’s body, digging into the soft flesh right below the ribcage. Over Avery’s shoulder, a cough of blood splat out, drawing red marks on the ground in front of them. The man grabbed at the top of Avery’s scalp and tried to throw him to the side – away from him, wanting to free the dagger from its lodged place in his stomach.
<Sylris>Avery: Avery let out a roar as the man grabbed the top of his head, holding the dagger into the man as best he could, the other hand reeling up with the other dagger, quickly moving to jab into the man's exposed underarm. His neck straining whether this would happen before he was thrown off or worse, however, was still entirely up in the air.
<Serenade-Clue>: The man let out a roar of his own, releasing Avery when the other dagger jabbed through his arm. Though he was wounded, he succeeded in getting the dagger out of his body, but didn’t succeed in through Avery off of the roof. He began stumbling backwards, falling backwards onto the ground in a horrid and pained mess.
<Sylris>Avery: Avery hit the ground rolling, nearly hitting up against the lip of the roof. It took him a little bit to get back up this time, the pain of the hit to the back, the throw, and the strain on his neck throbbing. He stood up after a bit, looking to the stumbling man. "...There's... a main artery in the underarm, you know... chances are I've severed it..." He said between pants, settling himself into a defensive stance, despite the weakened look of the man. "...You can die here and now, or you can tell me what I want to know."
<Serenade-Clue>: He coughed, the taste of blood not only filling his mouth, but the smell of it filling the air around him. He didn’t need to see his arm to realize that Avery was right. The pulsing sensation was horrible enough. The man gave a weak laugh, still snorting at the other’s confidence… even though he was like dead. “I’d… I’d rather die.” And just like that, it was as if his wish was granted, and death shot down from the sky – in the form of an arrow. It pierced the man’s skull right between the eyes, and instantly he went limp. The arrow was golden, encrusted with jewels and intricate designs – not unlike the arrow Free had found. To it, strapped a blood-red envelope.

The arrow had lodged itself deeply into the man's skull, so there was little point in pulling it out. As he noticed the note, he wondered. If this had writing in ink on it, wouldn't the blood ruin the message? He shrugged and ripped off, not taking the time to read unless he was in an area of cover.

It was just a blank piece of paper. It was only until a few more seconds passed that words began to draw themselves onto the page. They drew themselves across, letter by letter, in an elegant, golden script. "Write your name on the paper that shares the color your stained hands."

<Sylris>Avery: He looked at the note closely. "...Alchemically treated to heat... or... magic." He said to himself moving to the area he had seen the girl get taken away. He knew he wouldn't be able to find her at this rate, but this seemed almost like a magical contract. A potent thing one shouldn't take lightly. He check both sides of the paper to make sure he wasn't missing anything.
<Serenade-Clue>Letter: Nothing else was on the letter, and the letters burned like fire. It wasn't just that, but it seemed like they were burning the paper too. Slowly, but surely, the paper began to turn to ash at the edges, giving Avery only a limited amount of time to make a decision.

<Serenade-Clue>Letter: Immediately, merely the writing on the paper stopped the burning of the piece of paper. The words disappeared, melting away, as did the name Avery had written. He then took a bit of time to try to see who he'd crashed into. The interesting girl. "...The hell is this...?" He asked, making the pouting face again, feeling stupid for having signed a paper for seemingly nothing.

She looked up and down Avery for a couple seconds, then she remembered him. "Ohhh, you're that guy who was creeping on us from the rooftops. A very odd hobby may I add~." He wasn't even sure if this was the real girl. He then turned and tried to look for the spot she had been hit in the neck before.
<Ayuuria> *merely nods and then rushes off in the direction of C.C Stars. He had to get to HQ quick and warn all the other assassins about this incident.*
<Coffee-sama>Sarah: Without any other glance, she ran to the opposite direction, looking everywhere, not feeling fear, mostly precaution. If someone attacked her by surprise... that would be bad for her.
<Serenade-Clue>Clue: "Ehhh," she whined, raising an eyebrow at him in confusion. "What in the world are you doing?" She backed away from him, covering her neck with her free hand and pouting her lips. "My god, Tandi-kaio - if this is how you get girls you've got to change your methods."
<Serenade-Clue>: All of a sudden, while Sarah was running around, a giant hole opened up right in front of her feet - too close for her to dodge or jump out of the way. She'd fall right into it - and appear in the air, landing right on top of Free.

<Serenade-Clue>Clue: "Too much? It was your fault. You need to learn your place," she smiled, bouncing slowly past him, giving him a strange, sneaky look as she passed him. "You can't butt your nose into the wrong places. You'll get caught in a mousetrap."

<Sylris>Avery: Avery kept a cheek puffed up with air and looked up at her for bit with an arched brow. He then silently stood up and quickly poked her square in the forehead. He wasn't even sure if this was the real girl.

<Sylris>Avery: Avery just stared at her for a bit longer, looking at the hand covering her neck. He seemed to just move past her joke. "Can I have an explanation now? I believe I'm involved just a tad too much now." He was still making his almost pouting face as he asked her seriously.
<Serenade-Clue>Clue: "Too much? It was your fault. You need to learn your place," she smiled, bouncing slowly past him, giving him a strange, sneaky look as she passed him. "You can't butt your nose into the wrong places. You'll get caught in a mousetrap."
<Coffee-sama>Sarah: A giant hole appeared just in front of her, and even when her boots almost burnt due to the friction, she couldn't stop in time to avoid the hole "WHAT THE FUUUUuuuuuuuu---" Sarah was waiting for the ground to her inevitable dead, but she fell over something soft instead "Owowowow" She rubbed her head with a hand, laying over Free still "How on EARTH..."
<Sylris>Avery: Avery sighed and shrugged. "...Granted. Though I wish everyone would stop referring to me as vermin.." He said, pulling the cloak off and throwing it into a heap on the ground. "Now, are you going to tell me?" He crossed his arms, his frame revealed, the belted sheathes for the daggers he used strapped around each leg, and a small fanny-pack on the back of his waist.
<Ayuuria> @a@ Oooooww *he groaned. It wasn't exactly to hit coble stone with a lot of force*
<Serenade-Clue>Clue: She smirked as she let his guard down, and she turned towards the street, stopping for a moment. "I thought you'd be so much more difficult," she sighed. Then, she leaped out into the street and turned the corner, disappearing from view. If Avery followed, he would see that she was no longer in the street... at all. Instead, there was a teenage curled up on the ground, leaning against the wall. He had a large beanie over his head, and was fumbling with his fingers.
