Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

“They have all sorts of stuff! Just tell me what you have a taste for and I’ll order it. Want something else sweet like the first or maybe more sour, or any taste really. I prefer the sour things myself. Makes my lips pucker.” He could only continue to smile and grin as his plan worked out. Keefe was drunk enough to forget his troubles and have a good night.

"Hmmmm..." Keefe hummed as he thought of what he had a taste for. He liked how sweet the last one was, and he did enjoy a good pucker once in a while... Maybe something in between that... "Do they have something in between sweet and sour? Like a little mix of both of them?" Keefe asked wondering what may come up next.

“You might like to try a Blue Balls then. It’s sweet and sour, at least the last one I had was.” Lasair waved the waitress over and ordered on for Keefe. She giggled and winked at the two of them before she walked off, returning with the drink a moment later. “Try it.” Lasair grinned, taking another sip from his own drink.

"...Oh...Ok..." Keefe said as he looked the drink over before trying it. As the man said it was sweet and sour, exactly what he wanted. "This is just what I wanted!" Keefe said with a smile as he looked over to see the waitress walk away. Looking back at Lasair he had a questioning look in his eyes, "Why does she keep winking at us?" Keefe asked as he looked back over to the woman.

Chuckling, Lasair couldn’t help but find amusement in Keffee’s lack of common knowledge. At least, it was common to him. “She’s winking because she likes up, finds us cute, or thinks we might tip well. Or all three,” Lasair explained. If there was any other reason that a waitress winked, it was beyond him.

"Oh..." Keefe said as he looked over to where the waitress was again. Looking back Keefe took another sip of his new drink, enjoying the flavor and feeling of it, though his head was slowly beginning to swim, was that normal? Keefe had no idea. "Does that happen a lot?" Keefe asked as he looked over to Lasair.

“I’m not sure,” he answered while looking over at the waitress for a moment. “For me it does, but I’m just that kind of person.” He grinned as he answered that, before he noticed that Keefe was starting to sway a little in his seat. This drink should be his last one, don’t want to overload the kid on his first night enjoying liquor.

"Oh... OK!" Keefe said with a smile as he took another large sip of his drink, thinking as though he understood everything, "So it's like what my mother always said, 'If you nice to someone, they will be nice to you.' Like that whole neighbor thing. Ya know!" Ha said as he looked at nothing in particular, "That whole treat your neighbor nice or something and that's the way you wanted to be treated." Keefe knew in his mind what he wanted to say but the words weren't coming out right, and things seemed fuzzy. "Like be nice and it will be nice!"

“I get what you’re trying to say.” Laughing now, Lasair stood up. “It’s getting late, maybe we should head home?” The worse thing to tell someone who’s had too much is that they’ve had too much. So instead, trying to get the newly drunk home was his current goal.

"But..." Keefe began to say as he looked down at the ground some, "Didn't we just get here?" He asked, completely forgetting about how long the two of them had actually been here.

“Nah, we’ve been here for ages. Chatting about life and all that. I don’t even remember how the conversation started, do you?” He offered his hand to Keefe, smiling as he did so. Hopefully he’ll be able to get the kid home without any trouble. Even more hopefully was that Keefe still remembered where he lived.

"Oh... Ok." Keefe said as he grabbed the man's hand and stood up. After letting go of his hand it seemed as though the world was moving underneath him. "Whoowww..." Keefe mumbled as he grabbed the edge of the table. "Maybe we should leave... It feels weird here." He said as he looked at the man.

“Ah so you noticed. Then you understand why we should leave. Come on, I’ll make sure you get home.” Keefe was rather adorable, Lasair had to admit that. And as much as he’d like to keep pushing the kid to drink more, he knew better, especially since it was his first time drinking.
He reached out and took Keefe’s arm, to make sure that he wouldn’t fall, and led him to the door. “So where’s your place?”

"Ummm... It's at a corner... THAT WAY!" Keefe shouted as he pointed one way but tried to walk another. He knew where his house was but he couldn't remember the names of any of the streets. "It's in the merchant's district." Keefe couldn't help but wobble as he walked this was a weird feeling, Keefe didn't like it, "Why is the world not letting me walk right?" Keefe asked as he looked up to the man.

Chuckling, Lasair grabbed Keefe’s arm again led (okay maybe more like pulled) him away. “I’ll take you to the merchanct’s district. Try to remember where you live by the time we get there.” He didn’t bother to answer the question about walking. If Keefe remembered this night by next morning, he’d figure out why. It was a little surprising how poorly the boy could hold his liquor, but then again, Lasair could hardly remember his first time. He might have been that bad for all he knew.
