Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Asking just to make sure: new art related to old events counts as regular art, right? or does it count as event-art when awarding EMP still?
Event Art is awarded Event Art EMP values "during or shortly after" an event. The shortly after lasting one-month past the closing date of the event itself. Then the arts value is awarded on the general art scale.

Can Winged Anders change the design of their tattoos for their wings if they get tired of the appearance?
Yes they can, altho not exactly for the "tired of appearance" reason. As an Ander becomes more skilled at the wing concealment spell, they begin to gain some control over the design and how it looks. Kinda like the more you practice it, the more it can change. Also worth noting, if a character's personality takes some kind of shift or change, that could be reflected in their wing designs too. Lots of things come into play when using magic, who what where when and how. go ahead and play around with the reasoning and feel free to change the design any time

Hey, can we get a place where all the abandoned threads are gathered for people to see and possibly revive them? Either a thread to dump links of those, or a section in the forum...

Okay so steel yourselves this one's kinda long.
So, I've been brainstorming a number of shadow beast, which I plan to describe in a 'book' - probably more along the lines of a massive post or series of posts. I want to expand the Lodan universe whilst telling the tragic story of an artist/scientist gone mad by living in the presence of beast for so long and give these beasts names that reflect ye olden Anderswelter tongue. The issue is I don't want to define a language that goes against any ideas that have been set before my arrival. Can I do this, and if so how do you prefer I go about this?

Okay, so less RP and more the atmosphere of Lodan, but things (e.g. food, clothing, etc) inspired by real world locations such as Finland or East Asia (i.e. places not Lodan) yet not given a specific originating in-universe country. Yay or nay? Its for a minutiae detail but I don't want to make things go "kr-boom" by adding unwanted stuffs

Check out the "Geo-Political World" thread, some of those same things youre describing have already been renamed as in-game countries
