Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Aurelia kept her head down while walking past pub after pub in the theater district. She knew very well what each smoke filled, alcohol smelling place held and tonight it didn’t draw her attention. None of it did, walking among all the loud animated people only made her roll her eyes. She scoffed at the girls daintily dressed while males watched their every move with lust filled eyes. She shook her head “Attention seekers”. She muttered and continued to walk along, slightly picking up her pace when she began to feel as though there were now a set of eyes watching HER. The hairs on the back of Aurelia's neck stood up and her gloved hands curled into a fist.

"What's got your knickers in a twist?" A voice called from behind Aurelia's back. Behind her Mae stood in her usual long trench coat, while something like sequence shimmered underneath. Her hair was neatly combed back and shiny as silk, something that was becoming more normal than not for her as she continued her gig as a singer. She'd overheard the dark haired girls muttering and felt like muttering something back. This was the entertainment district afterall, what did she expect to find here?

The deep feminine voice stopped Aurelia in her tracks. “What’s got your knickers in a twist?” Well then it seems she wasn’t so quiet when she muttered that comment to herself. In front of her an of course taller and gorgeous female questioned Aurelia. She responded with a raised eyebrow, not expecting someone to actually acknowledge her presence. A smirk found its way on her lips. “Nothing’s got my knickers in a twist. Just making an observation is all.” She tilted her head to the side looking the female up and down. Aurelia was curious as to where this conversation would turn considering her current mood.

Months had seemed to drag on and pass through Lodan as Lorraine had disappeared from the world. During the long days and short nights, she had spent hours and hours endlessly training along with her comrades of the Recon corp while following her own added routine to be sure her smaller frame could keep up with the larger men of her group. The work she had done and her time invested was not without reward for now she walked down the streets of the Theatre district feeling triumphant in her progress within EIRAL. At her feet, Felix padded along, occasionally dicing between the large strides of her long legs to get on her other side. As the woman never seemed to stumble or notice the beast's childish play, one could assume this was something that happened often and she was accustomed to it. Eventually the little fox grows tired of his antics and just falls into following along his master as she strolls down the streets of the district. At a corner, she turns to see she was approaching to other women and frowns lightly. Although the did not seem the fragile sort most women were of their era, she still gestured her fox closer to her feet. "Pardon me, ladies," she says quietly, offering the two women a smile as she approached.

"Stating the obvious makes for piss poor observations, hope you're not making yourself into some kinda scientist there sunshine, ya might hurt that brain of yours trying to be clever," she chided, though why Mae always had to come off with such bad manners was a mystery even to herself. The law approached and outta habit she held her hands up in the "I didn't do it" pose.

"Stating the obvious makes for piss poor observations, hope you're not making yourself into some kinda scientist there sunshine, ya might hurt that brain of yours trying to be clever,” Any other night Aurelia would’ve had her claws out before this woman even finished her sentence. But tonight she wasn’t in the mood to get into a meaningless fight. Aurelia saw no point in provoking this woman, it was clear she had the same no nonsense attitude Aurelia had. “I’m the farthest thing from sunshine, sweetheart. Thanks for the concern about my brain, however I think I can manage… Trying to? Sweetie pie I don’t have to try and be clever. I'm just naturally this witty.” With a nod of her head Aurelia looked behind herself to see why this woman put her hands up so suddenly. The smirk was wiped clean off her face. There goes all the fun she was about to have. With a small sigh she clasped both hands putting them behind her back. “Evening ma’am”. Aurelia hoped that she wouldn’t have to put on the sweet act tonight. It was annoying to do even on a good night. She rocked back and forth on her heels waiting to see if the woman planned on sticking around long.

Part of the brown haired woman did not expect to be greeted the way she was but at a further study of both women's persons also reminded her that she should have expected it. Her gait was rather formal and of perfect posture as she was noble in birth, her military training doing nothing to dissuade this. "Good evening," she replies with a soft smile, her finely arched brows drawing up in friendly amusement. "I only wished to know where the best bakery wa--hey, hey, Felix! Down boy," her raised brows crease together as her attention is stolen by the little, old fox stepping out to run circles about the two women, pausing to occasionally sniff at their boots and clothe. "Apologies, he's not particularly so rude," she states, lips pursing as the fox looks up at her as though he had been caught with his paw in the cookie jar. He makes a quiet little whimper, paws at Maeve's foot then nudges Aurelia's foot with his muzzle before falling back to rub his head affectionately against Lorraine's leg. "Do either of you know where a wonderful bakery may be? I'd be willing to offer a reward of treating you to something in return."

She ignored the last few lines from the begrudging civilian as the fox gave her a startle, and she narrowed her eyes at it. It nuzzled her and her trepidation melted away, though she didn't show any outward signs of acceptance that easily. "A bakery? Aren't you in the wrong parta town for that ma'am? This is the theater district, a few blocks thata'way aughta set you to rights, e'ry bakery I know of is in the Merch'district." She replied, her hands coming to rest on her sides no longer feeling guilty for something she obviously didn't do wrong.

Iacomus poked the lady who looked as if she might be an Eiral on the shoulder with a mischievous smirk. What was he doing in the Theater District? Looking for entertainment, as always. Why was he eavesdropping? That, he would not admit, but he had heard a plea for a bakery, and, as someone who was involved with a certain pink-headed someone who very much liked sweets, he knew exactly where one was. "I am so sorry to intrude, but I do know where a bakery might be located, if you are in need of one." He chuckled and smiled his typical malicious smile, though he had no malcontent at the moment.

"Ahh what a time!" Zona said with a large smile to the small cat sitting on her shoulder. Jay looked up at her, then off to the side, then back to her, then back somewhere else, having his attention go everywhere at once. "Meeeeooooowwww!" Jay replied happily finally resting his attention on a nearby group of women and an old man. Looking up Zona saw the group too, she knew the one, didn't know the other, didn't care to know the third, and wish she never new the old man, still she wanted something to do that night, so she began to walk over. Staying closer to Mae's side, the only one of the females she knew, she said, "Fine night ain't it?! So who are your new friends Mae? Besides the old man..." She looked over at Iaco with a glare, "Of course he would be here..." she thought to herself.

Danny'd been prowling around the rooftops for a while now, and his interest was sparked when he noticed a gathering of people he recognized. Gee, were they all drawn to each other likes flies to honey? The boy hup-hup-hoed down the building and into the nearest alleyway. He brought his goggles down over his eyes, tilted his hat so the brim shaded his face but was set at an angle that screamed confidence, pulled his scarf up higher so he disappeared into the disguise, and sauntered over.
""ey! Lookit this! 'Ow ya folks doin'? Nice seein' ya again Z. Mae, always a pleasure. Oho! An' look who it is! Ya doin' alright soldier girl?" Danny'S gaze passed over each person in turn. When he came to Iaco, he looked at him for a time before he continued his speaking. "Whatcha skulkin' 'round 'ere ffor, Creepy? Figured bone yards'd be yer thing..." Danny planted his hands on his hips and titled his stance to seem more relaxed and wiggled his fingers at Aurelia. "Hullo girly. 'Ow ya doin'do in'?"

Although she still felt slightly tense from the initial encounter with the first woman. Aurelia visibly relaxed and her eyes softened slightly when the little fox left his owner and came towards her. "Apologies, he's not particularly so rude,"
“It’s okay, I don’t mind at all” The corners of Aurelia’s mouth turned up slightly and she watched the little one.. Felix? Was it? As she watched him while he interacted with herself and the other woman. She could tell that the owner treated him well with how openly affectionate he is.
"Do either of you know where a wonderful bakery may be? I'd be willing to offer a reward of treating you to something in return."
Aurelia tilted her head to the side, she knew that if a bakery is what this girl was looking for she wouldn’t be able to find one here. She was just about to respond to the girl when the woman next to her beat her to the punch.
"A bakery? Aren't you in the wrong parta town for that ma'am? This is the theater district, a few blocks thata'way aughta set you to rights, e'ry bakery I know of is in the Merch'district."
Aurelia rolled her eyes as the woman spoke… Know it all, she thought. Right when Aurelia was going to try and divert the topic by offering to show her personally where the bakery was once again she got beaten to the punch by a rather peculiar looking male.
"I am so sorry to intrude, but I do know where a bakery might be located, if you are in need of one."
Although on any other day Aurelia would’ve excused herself by now, something about tonight told her to stick around. The chuckle that emanated from the male who just joined was slightly unnerving along with his smile but Aurelia has definetly seen weirder so she chose to look every where else but at him.
"Fine night ain't it?! So who are your new friends Mae? Besides the old man..."
Once again someone new came along, a blue haired female who apparently knew the first woman that started this whole night. Mae? Hmmm. Such a plain name. However before anyone else could get a word in Aurelia decided to respond quickly to the new member of the night’s conversation. “The name is Aurelia, Aurelia Voltaire.” She said this with a small smile and a nod of her head in the direction of the blue haired girl.
""ey! Lookit this! 'Ow ya folks doin'? Nice seein' ya again Z. Mae, always a pleasure. Oho! An' look who it is! Ya doin' alright soldier girl?"
"Whatcha skulkin' 'round 'ere ffor, Creepy? Figured bone yards'd be yer thing..."
Out of nowhere a boy came with confidence greeting everyone clearly he was well known with the rest of the random members within the group except for Aurelia.
"Hullo girly. 'Ow ya doin'do in'?"
Aurelia rose her eyebrows at the boldness the most recent new comer had. However she did her best to not make it seem like it threw her off. “Girly is the wrong nickname trust me, and I’ve seen worse nights”. With a look around at everyone Aurelia wondered where the hell this night actually was going.

Like a swarm closing in, Lorraine soon found herself surrounded by unfamiliar faces though none put her off as much as the man that dared touch her. Despite her feelings of uncertainty of the company she had found, she maintained a rather calm and relaxed composure as to lose such a mask would be a sign of weakness. She had not a moment to reply to the man when Felix suddenly yipped and pranced about her feet. Quietly he growls, muzzle wrinkling as his eyes fixed themselves on the cat carried on the blue haired girl's shoulder. With her attention fixed on the man, she carefully leans down to skim her fingertips over the fox's head behind his ear to soothe him. As if he'd never even seen the cat, the fox falls silent and now looks up to Lorraine for looking over the other people present.
With Danny's entrance, the fox quickly bonds over to him and looks at his hand on his hip. "Felix, down boy," she says with a sigh before pressing her lips into a stern frown. "What has gotten into you, you are acting so odd lately. Danny, it is good to see you again," she states then turns her attention to the man. "I thank you but I think I can find it. I thought there used to be a bakery here but I suppose I was mistaken." To the other ladies, she bows slightly and states, "I am Lorraine Blackmoore. Should you ever need assistance and find me on the streets, you are more than welcome to approach me." Turning back to Danny, she whistles to draw Felix's attention and the fox comes skittering back to her side. "Danny, you were fond of free treats, were you not? Care to join me at the bakery? If these people are your friend, I will gladly treat them as well."

In the mites of all the taking Zona heard the name of other black haired girl, Aurelia something. Zona nodded off towards Danny acknowledging his presence but not saying anything to him, she then turned back to the girl and extended her hand out, "Names Zona." She said with a smile as she heard a hiss like sound coming from the ground and feeling a small cat pace back and fourth on her shoulders. Looking down she saw a fox standing in front of the only other person Zona didn't know, "Calm yourself..." Zona said to the cat in a stern voice. "Meooow..." Jay looked at her as he sat uncomfortably on her shoulder, ready to jump down and play with the fox who then raced off towards Danny.

Iacomus glanced behind him as the familiar nickname was spoken. "I really am not that old, Zona." He said, quietly, a smile on his lips but annoyance on his eyes. The lady he had offered to help sent him a glare, then turned her attention to the boy, oh, what was it... Danny! That's right. He had such trouble remembering names. He watched as Zona introduced herself to the newer person, and Iacomus' eyes lit up with interest. "Why, greetings!" he exclaimed in this new girl's direction. "I am Iacomus Lerwick. What is your name?"
