Open to Iaco
A hooded figure was leaned up against a wall, whistling casually. The building the figure was leaning on was a pub near the outskirts of the merchant district. A giggly couple stumbled out of the establishment. clinging to each other as the hurried to their next destination. The hooded figure got up, stretched, the causal followed the man and woman. The giddy couple stopped as the woman pointed towards a small, dark side road. Stephen, the hooded figure, could not hear what she said but it most likely was the line she always used "That's a short cut to ma house. Let's go, I can't wait no more!" The man nodded eagerly and followed her down the side road. Stephen's whistling turned to a low note as he shook his head slightly. Some men did not think when it came to women.
Picking up speed, he jogged over to where the two disappeared, silencing his whistling. Turning into the street he noticed that it was too late for the gentleman. The woman stood over the dead man, a clean cut made across his throat. Well, at least he did not have to worry about a witness. He slid his knife down from his sleeve then threw it at the girl, aiming for her head. It missed, clattering into the wall next to her, causing her to jerk back and look around (knife fighting I used). Stephen made a disapproving noise then rushed at her. The woman growled, brandishing her bloody knife. When he was almost upon her she jabbed her knife at him just as he dodged. He hit her hand holding the knife, disarming her, then grabbed her neck. He slammed her against the wall and covered her mouth so she would not make noise as he closed her airway. She struggled, clawing uselessly at his front and arms. After a bit her movements stilled (Unarmed Combat II used). Stepping back, he let her limp body drop to the ground. Turning back to look at the man, an idea popped into his head. He quickly dragged the girl over to the dead man then tugged the dead man on top of her and positioned his hands on her neck. That made it look as if they had managed to kill each other. It was a convenience cover up but he was not pleased that the man had died before he could help. Sighing, he checking that there was not blood on him as he grabbed his knife off the ground.
