Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
And so the True Night's Show Starts - Zona & TaLia Trial
Post by Edelweiss Fjäril on Jul 4, 2014 17:41:28 GMT
OPEN TO CAEsAL The actors bowed to the public, and the stage curtains were lowered. The leader of CAEsAL greeted the audience, thanked for their presence, and the lastest evening play at the Main Theater was finished. The crowd was still cheering when Edelweiss slipped back onto the backstage, to meet the silent group of people who awaited; assassins, more than half had hoods covering their faces, and the remaining ones varied from looking excited, to annoyed, to plainly bored. For the vast crowd that night's show had ended, but for some newbies it was just starting - and they better perform well, for their own good. It was a Trial day again.
The remaining hoods were pulled up. She gave a nod to them for the narrow bolted door behind them to be unlocked, revealing the space behind. Again looking like a dark space with no visible sense of depth, just a shallow closet, but that allowed the whole group to enter descending the stair-steps till the cellar level. Back into that dark stuffy room with only one escape (the very stairs). The new batch of potential initiates had been gathered in there, yet all rounded up of course. Four of them, today was escaping that routine of 3 newbies per round, but the most recent girl had been fetched and herded with the others right before the Theater's open evening activities started, courtesy and indication of one of the hoods watching. If it was luck or extreme lack of it, only God knew.

Standing in such a dark, stuffy room like this surrounded by tons of people watching your every move would normslly freak a person out, but luckily for Zona she was always the oddball, the one no one understood and thought was a bit... well for a lack of a better word odd, especially now. There were 3 other people standing in the same area as her, but they seemed to be in more of a group, leaving Zona on her own. She didn't mind standing on her own though, she never really cared for other people, and she sure didn't trust them one bit, so she always tried to be the oddball. As they all waited for who knows what to happen, Zona began to get rather excited about what was to come. She grew to accept the unexpected over the years, and now really enjoys it. It was something that could challenge her and she was the type of person to face a challenge head on and with a smik.

Stephen was down in the dark room as well, already decided on who he would watch during the trial. Zona K. Noakes: the annoying woman that actually had the nerve to try and steal from him. Lucky for her, she had a cat, so he did not feel the intense need to beat her to a pulp. Unlucky for her, he had convinced Epikuro to add her to the trial list and personally dragged her here himself. His hood was up but not fully covering his face, allowing the darkness to enhanced the slightly yellow glow that was emitted from his left eye. "What do ya think of 'em?" came a voice from behind him. Must be Bones, no one else had a voice that sounded like grating sand "One of them just might be worth our time" he muttered back, eyeing Zona with calculating interest.
As they we're all waiting for whatever to happen in this room actually happen, Zona was getting a bit bored and decided to look around for a face she might had known, or at least seen around. As she searched the crowd all she could see was hoods, no faces just hoods. Zona was getting rather frustrated that she couldn't see anyones face, and she really wanted something, ANYTHING to happen and to happen soon. But she still continued to scan the crowd to see if she could find someone, but besides the hoods she saw the glow of a few eyes obviously from feline anders, whether they were pure blood or not she couldn't tell but she could still see them, and well the sight of that... Let's say it wasn't her favorite sight.

"I got ma money on tha' red headed fella. He looks like he knowz wha' he's doin" Bones snickered, nodding his head towards the burly looking recruit. Stephen made a snort in reply, not really sure that one would make it. Matches walked casually into the middle of the circle, already puffing away on a cigarette. He had the same long black cloak that he had worn when Stephen himself had received his own trial "Hello and Welcome" he said loudly, causing all eyes- blind folded and hidden alike- to go to him. "No doubt you have been wondering as to why you are here at this late hour. It seems that you lot have caught our 'little organizations' attention" he said with a wide smirk, making quotation marks when talking about the group. This caused a slight snicker to be emitted from some of the hooded members in the room. Stephen rolled his eyes at the cult like behavior or his fellow assassins.
"Either your certain skill sets have been observed and this stands as a test to see if you can become one of us." Reaching up he took his cigarette out of his mouth and blew some smoke at one of the fearful looking recruits, causing him to sputter and cough. "Or... we simply dislike you and only put you in this trial for our own entertainment" he said with a dark smile. "This will not be an easy walk in the park. You will receive a pass of fail grade. Pass and you get to join our ranks. Fail and well... let's just say you won't be joining us or anyone for dinner any time soon" A ripple of quiet laughter was emitted from the group again. They were really laying on the creepy factor today. It seemed to be working on one of the recruits; the blonde haired chap started to whimper, hunkering down as his head flicked back and forth, looking blindly around, unable to see because of the blindfold. "Now, someone important will give you more information on the upcoming trial... or she might not. It depends on what kind of mood she is in" he chuckled, putting his cigarette back into his mouth.

Once downstairs, the hooded group scattered around the room, barely visible as shadows moving in the cellar's own shadows. A single one remained in front of the stairs, and it was impossible to tell how many were the others spreaded in the dark throughout the room. Usually even the more stoic indictees were put on edge by this, but it seemed they had one fearless one at that time; may she put it for good use.
The sound of a match striking was followed quickly by a tiny glowing spark near the ground where it was struck. It slowly rose as the holder (which the slight glow could not illuminate) rose to his feet. Up, up, and up the little flame climbed, till it was well over seven feet in the air and touched to an oily wick, just so that the wick caught. The flame dim light spread to reveal a hanging iron and glass lantern on rustic chains just dangling over the front of the room. The light helped to see the base of the stairs and a few feet fanning out around the landing, but the inductees and their company were shrouded in shadows that seemed unwilling to relent the space to the light.
"Welcome," The shadows shifted again as a velvety voice came across the cellar, and another pair of feet walked towards the wick, standing close to it and looking at the 'newbies'. Matches made a little speech of his own before being smacked on the head (or well, top of the hood), and 'friendly' pushed aside. "and I'm no girl, you arse." The new one also wore a cloak that covered his head down to his boots (which seemed to be a common look for anyone that could be glimpsed around), black and polished shiny with belt-type hasps running on the sides. "Ladies and gentlemen, like my overly funny colleague mentioned, you were brought here either because our scouts saw you doing something that impressed them, or that made them enraged." He made a pause to stroke his own chin invisible under the hood. "In either case, this means you were practicing your -skills- in our territory, "unsponsored" so-to-say, by us." He reached out an arm and gestured it around to indicate the others that came down with him. There were some occasional chuckles at that, as a kind of inner joke that insisted on not getting old. When they quieted he continued. "Since you all look like you can become agreeable practitioners of our art, we have decided to give you a chance." The air grew stale as his voice dropped into a less soft tone, inbedded with a dry seriousness.
"If you're thinking to yourselves now that this is going to be some kind of school-boy initiation where we give you a basket of red peppers and make you eat them in three minutes or less, then you are mistaken. And if you're thinking this trial is optional you are mislead as well. Each and every one of you has shown our organization that you have a certain lust for 'making' your own justice and we cannot allow you to continue your behaviors ungoverned by the code."
There was a shuffling sound as the unseen members of the shadows began to withdraw weaponry, free their hands for spell casting, and such. The air grew thin and full of the pricking static. When the silence stretched, and their guests seemed alert, the man tilted his head towards the stairs to reveal a mouth twisted into something that could be a smile as well as a frown.
"This trial will be deadly. It's a pass/fail grade, so do try your best on this first try. Because you will not have a second one. Ready, newcomers?" There was the sound of a bolt being slid free and the white light of the upper stage trickled down to war with the warm glow of the lantern toward the bottom step, and besides that, there was only silence. No one came down, no one went up. Everyone waited to hear from the inductees.
TaLia could feel the eyes of the hooded figures but could not see them. Knowing she was on display anoyed her to no end, especially since she had to be next to blonde boy and his abnormal breathing. Trying to shut out the sound of him and focusing on the hooded voice in front of her, she shifted her body so slightly you would think it would go unnoticed. Not by this group, she could almost feel them focus on her with the urge to pounce. She knew this was her only chance to join them and she was not going to let mouth breather get in her way, as soon as she could she would get away from him.
But what would she be doing? This was the answe she had been searching for, for weeks. She had asked aroun and listened in on so many conversations. She even tryed to beat it out of one guy (witch is probably how she ended up here). But no one knows! Whatever it was she was not going to fail.
She was so lost in thought she didn't realize no one was coming down the stairs, even worst was no one went up. The hair on the back of her neck stood up and she braced her self for what was to come.

"Bring it on!" She replied to the the hooded figure in front of her. Zona was ecstatic that someone was finally talking after all that time, and what made it even better was that it was about what was to come! Just hearing how hard it was going to be and the fact that it was 'pass or fail' type of challange made her so very excited and so very ready to start this! She was ready to test her skills and couldn't wait to see what came up those stairs. As she waited for what was to come her nerves of excitement were growing faster than ever before!

From the shadows, Epikuro watched the reactions from the indictees. One looked really focused, which was a very good sign if the skills could catch up to it; one was a fearless thing that seemed strangely... happy about it - the odd lass was unforeseeable, and that could both be her best trait as well as her downfall depending on how it was used. And lastly, the two remaining scaredy-cats, and the wet pants denounced the blonde on the left had pissed himself. Who was the one who picked him again? The cloaked man gave half a nod gesturing to the stairs and turned around to climb it back towards the backstage, while the other hooded people approached the newbies, enclosing distance until forcing them to form a row and climb one after the other, with the assassins following behind. Blindfolds and binds were released, but why would any of them worry about what the ones being trialed might try while the veterans are following half a step behind?
"Time is running out tonight, and we seem to have some oddballs among you anyway, so I'll be brief." The velvet-voiced man spoke again, without turning behind to look at them. "You will now be given your first oficial assassin mission. Yes 'first', because if you pass this trial there'll be more. If you don't pass, it will be your last... but you won't be doing much more than being dead." Epikuro came forward, a single hoodless head with red hair sliding amid the sea of hoods and handed four envelopes to him, and by the next second was already leaving and disappeared among the others. "We have rules as well, only 3: Do not blow your cover. Do not compromise the Association. Do not shed blood without reason. Those are your code from now on. And these," he gestured to the envelopes "are your targets tonight. When your trial is over, we allow you to choose your own targets, but not this time. The leader fetched these personally and will watch one of you as well, but I have no clue whom you'll get. Its up to you to figure out how to eliminate them according to the code. If you do it well, you'll join us and be given a codename to be used while on duty. If you succeed in killing your target, but fail the code, you fail us and will become our next target. So kill them well dead." The half-joke half-warning gained some twisted smiles from the group of figures, but no laughing.
"Last thing, codenames are given to you, you do not choose them. Once we've seen what you can do we'll decide out what to call you." He took off the hood. "In my case, I'm called Morpheus. Don't ask why, you will sleep for a too long time." Again, they gave the trio a chance to look over their papers before stepping a little behind, forming an exit pathway towards the open Theaters. "Good hunt, newcomers. And may luck favor you, because you'll need it."
"All power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." - John Dalberg-Acton
TaLia walked up the stairs feeling anxious as the group led the way. It felt good to get the rope and blindfolds off - until she could see just how many people surrounded them. They moved as one, as if each person was a drop of water and they all made up a river. Knowing she would be followed and expected to perform on that level made her palms sweat and her heart race. She would not fail, this was not her first kill and would not be her last.
She watched as the red head walked forward with the targets. Why is she not using her hood? She moved with grace and confidence and TaLia felt proud in that moment to be amongst them. Then her nose was assaulted with a nasty musty smell she couldn’t place, only to look over and find mouth breather and pissed himself. How in the hell did he get in here? Did he have a twin and they brought the wrong one? Good God man pull yourself together.
When she looked back at the man now holding the targets, he started to move forward and hand them out. TaLia took the paper with steady hands and gave a nod, she was not sure if it was time to open it and paused. When she looked at the others they had already opened them, she quickly opened hers and read the name on the paper.
As Zona reached for the envelope her mood and attitude changed immediately, she went from extremely excited and ready to explode to incredibly serious with a killer look in her eyes, still very excited on the inside but not letting it show at all... it was as if she was a whole new and different person.
She took the envelope with care and quietly said, "Thank you." She thought just because she was going to do this doesn't mean she should take it without saying a little bit of respect, especially to the people who could tear your head off and make it look like an accident all for fun. Holding the envelope in one hand with her head held up high, and with absolutely no expression on her face what-so-ever, she walked out the door. Once outside she sprinted off and found a nice quiet place where she could open her envelope and find out who exactly her target was.
Her target was a theater director who went by the name of Benjamin Donlan Strawford. This was a rather well known man who produced many great plays, with wonderful actresses, so one would wonder why this rather charming man would be Zona's target. Well what many people dont know about this man is that he goes by another name, B.D. Starford, a man who runs an underground sex and slave trader. He uses his director career to lure young girls into his underground trading business, puts them on in a show then sends them out the night after... rather an ingenious plan, for he would get all the money from all the theater shows he puts on then gets more money when selling the girls. He's been doing this for years and no one ever knew, but tonight was sure to be his last performance.
Strawford had just finished cleaning up for his latest play 'A Lonely Life' and was on his way out to ,obviously, go and see if any of his latest actresses had sold yet, little did he know that a young girl with blue tipped hair was just behind him. Using the skills she had learned from her years of pickpocketing, she melted away with the crowd, turning into another nobody with no importance what-so-ever.
She followed him at a close distance, waiting for him to turn out of the crowd and head toward his destination, which just happened to be down a poorly lit ally. "Typical." Zona thought to herself, "Why wouldn't he go down an ally like this with his guard down. This will be WAY too easy!" After looking around to make sure no one was in the ally except for her and Strawford, she walked straight up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. In doing so he jumped at her touch and whipped around to see who had touched him.
Due to the fact that she was shorter than him, by nearly a foot, he looked down at her. "Oh." He chuckled, "Why its only a young girl, you've startled me young one. But tell me what are you doing here? Ahh your here to see about my next play, aren't you?" He asked not caring of her answer, for he had one thing in mind, another girl more money for him, but since he was right infront of his destination he would just bring her along and skip the whole 'having her part of the play'. Zona thought to herself that this might be her chance to really prove she has more than what it takes to be part of this guild, so she played along with the man. "Yes I am! Ive been a fan of your plays for a long time and have wanted to be in one very badly, yet I have horrible stage fright. So I though if I cant act on stage for one of your plays I can help in the back!" She said with a smile, and really playing up the stupid little fan girl act. But her act was working really well, for the man believed every word of it. "Splendid, young girl, simple splendid!! I can start teaching you right away, infact I was working on some 'behind the scene' stuff in here. If you please." The man said with joy as he opened the door and gestured to let Zona in first.
Once through the door Zona saw just how horrible this man was. Rows and rows of bar bed frames, with disgusting mattresses with God knows what on them. And on nearly every one of those mattresses was one of Strawfords previous actresses on in, chained to the metal frame. As Zona looked around she saw only one other man in there, he was walking around to each bed with a clip board, most likely doing an attendance check. But before Zona could look around any more she felt a strong grip on both her wrists and it quickly pulled back, trying to immobilize her. "Welcome to your new temporary home, young one. You'll stay here until sold to whoever wants you, and from the looks of you, you'll fetch me a hefty price!" He whispered into her ear.
"No I wont." Zona said with a straight face, clearly confusing the man trying to sell her. "...Wh- What did you just say? Your NOT going to fetch me a hefty price?!?" He said in shock thinking the girl thought she was less than what he could get out of her. "No, I said I wont be sold. Im not really one for that, especially with the business you run Strawford... or should I call you by this business name Starford..... Ya know those two names or so much alike im surprise no ones found you out sooner." Zona said with a smirk making the man rather mad at her."BOOMER!!! Come teach this cleaver a lesson!!!" He shouted to the other man as his grip on Zona got tighter. "I think I've had enough fun here." Zona said as she leaned forward, then slammed hard back right into the middle of his face, causing him to go unconscious.
At the sight of what happened to his boss, Boomer came charging head first at Zona. Knowing she could easily outrun this large man she looked around to see it there was something else she could do to stop him. As she began to scan her surroundings she over heard some of the girls screaming something about bow in the corner, and sure enough the girls were right, an old wooden bow was leaning up against a wall in the corner of the room. Zona ran over there and grabbed the bow, looking for some kind of projectile she could fire at the man thundering towards her about 25 feet away, she saw an long sharp piece of pipe laying on the ground. She grabbed the pipe, set up the shot, and fired (Bow I). The shot hit him directly in the neck, causing him to stop in mid-run and fall hard to the ground.
"Wow... first time I picked up a bow and I hit the guy in the neck... Not bad." She thought to herself and let a small smile break through. She then walked over to the unmoving body to see if he was out or actually gone. With a shot like that no one could have survived it, and he sure didn't. Zona realize that the pipe she just hit him with may come in handy, so she flipped the large and heavy man on his back, and pulled the pipe from his throat "It not like he needs it." She thought to herself. Just as she gets up from crouching next to the body, she could feel a presence behind her. And sure enough as soon as she turned around Strawford was standing right behinder her, but before Zona could move the man embedded a knife deep into her left shoulder. Her reaction to this was to take the pipe she had been holding and jab it deep into his midsection. This caused him to release his grin on the blade and drop down to the floor hunched over in pain.
Zona stood over the man with his knife still in her shoulder. She knelt down besides the man and pulled the knife from her shoulder and held it up to his neck. "Wh- what are you?..." The man said weakly gasping for air. "Your worst nightmare." She said as she stared him straight in the eyes with a soulless look to hers. The man stared back in terror. "Have fun in Hell." Zona gave a slight smile as she quick swiped the knife against the mans throat. He fell to his side as he lay there dead.

As TaLia was reading her name, she noticed the girl with blue hair for the first time. The girl was running out the door with excitement the rest of them did not feel. Because of her speedy exit, the men next to TaLia rushed out the door after her. Thank God the smell of urine was gone! TaLia took a minute to decide how she was going to do this, she was new in town and did not know the people. Standing there in thought was a sure way to NOT impress anyone so she started to move. Having always been one for strategies it was bothering her that she did not have one now.
She had joined the group of people walking out of the theater and decided what she was going to do. Shady people work with other shady people, she started scanning the exiting audience for anyone who stood out. Across the way stood three men talking in hushed tones, deciding this was good place to start she pulled her hood up and made her way across the street. She walked right past the men and stood in the shadows behind them, they reeked of brandy and cigars. The wait was not long, within seconds the taller man gave her exactly what she wanted. He patted the man next to him on the back and said "Archbold we are impressed with the numbers for this month and have decided to extend our contract". No way could it be this easy! Now all that was left was confirming his surname and she could finish the job.
"When will we be able to see where you do all your exporting?"the tall man said to Archbold, he didn't respond right away he let the silence fill the space before he gave an answer. "As soon as I get an impressive shipment to show you, wouldn't want you unimpressed with an every day shipment". His voice sent chills down TaLias spine, it was scratchy like he had been smoking a cigar constantly for years. She started to hope it was him because he disgusted her, from the smell of him and the sound of his voice to the look in his eyes like he would rob his own mother.
Just then the shorter of the men was calling it a night. He seemed uncomfortable like he knew he should not be there and called every one by their surname as he shook their hands "Wilden, Dickens the brandy is hitting just right and I think i shall retire for the night". That was all that she needed, she had never been so happy to hear someones surname before. Now all that was left to do was wait for him to walk away and she would follow him.
They chatted casually for a moment longer then said their goodbyes. TaLia was ready she flattened herself against the wall preparing to follow him, she was surprised that he turned right in front of her and walked down the dark alley. What the hell, she was shocked that he would walk right in front of her. luck was on her side tonight. He did not go far, he walked only a few feet from her looked right then left to make sure no one was watching and pulled out some keys. TaLia was going to let him go in the door and follow him inside, finishing the job under cover would be better than someone happening upon them in the alley. He slid the key in with one more look over his shoulder and opened the door.
He started to walk in and stopped, staring in the entry way like he was frozen. TaLia decided to act she ran up behind him and kneed him in the back sending him flying in through the door. She realized then that he was thin and was to small for his jacket, she had a fleeting thought that it was strange. She pulled the door closed behind her and looked up throwing her hood off. The room was like a dungeon, bared walls and beds with people chained to them. This sent a new wave of anger through TaLia and her skin felt like fire, her wings were itching to come out so she could kill him with her full force. She let out a low growl and was not sure where it came from, then she turned to face the man.
To her surprise he was doing some kind of hoppity dance to get off of something underneath him. When he finally got up she got a good look at two dead bodies on the floor, "Looks like a rough night for maggots like you" she spit at the man. He opened his jacket to reveal a strange looking small bat with little blunt mettle pieces on the end. A big laugh broke out of him and he pointed the weapon at her "you will not be so luck with me witch, after I beat you like the dog you are i'm going to sell you"
TaLia looked at Archbold and spit on the ground saying with as much venom as she had "you're going to die today Archbold"
After Zona was sure Strawford was dead she searched him to see if she could find anything valuable on him, an old pickpocket habit. She found his wallet which had tons of money in it, which she pocketed for later, once again another habit of hers, his knife with his initials, BDS, engraved in the handle in a fancy, scrollie design, showing it was an expensive knife, and the master keys to all the locks holding the girls to their beds. Just as she was done searching him the door right in front of her opened, revealing a new man.
Before Zona could act, he came flying through the door and landed ontop of Strawford lifeless corps. A girl came in after him and stoped stopped dead in her tracks. "That has to be one of the other assassins trying for the guild" Zona thought as she stared at the girl. Zona didn't say anything to them, she just let them be. She thought it best not to interfere with them because this was obviously her target, and even though Zona hates completion where others could win, she knew better that to mess with them, plus it may ruin her chance of getting in the guild. So she continued on her way and left the girl and the 'maggot' to continue as they were.
After taking the the key and ignoring the other two she went around to each bed and undid the locks that chained the girls to their bed, after being freed some ran out of that Hell hole as quick as they could using a back entrance Zona unlocked just before helping them, while others waited for their friends, or to help those who were to weak to stand get out as well. Eventually, one by one, they all thanked her and left. In no time all the girls were gone. So now that they were all gone she took the two dead body's and chained them both to a bed, even though they were dead she just wanted to stay on the safe side.
She walked over to the corner of the room with the master keys in hand, picked up the bow she dropped earlier, slung it over her head and shoulder, and went to the back door. Before leaving she turned around just to see how the girl was doing, from what she saw she was doing ok, but with how large and dark the room was she couldn't really tell. Once outside she turned around and locked the door, putting the keys in her pocket which she was planing on tossing someplace later, she would first have to come back to lock the front door so no one could ever go in there again, but she would have to wait until the girl was out.
On her way back to the theater where she came out before any of this happened she thought to herself, "You stupid cleaver!! You moron!! You idiot!! I cant believe I was that stupid!!!" She scolded herself harshly. "I should have known he would have had that knife with him! He never leaves his house with out it!! Gahhh!!! ...Well I suppose it was a bit fun... and now I got the wound to remember it by." She thought letting a slight smile through. Thinking of the was Strawford looked before he died, the pure fear in his eyes, just the thought of it made Zonas heart race! She lived for that, and loves every minute of it!
When she reached her destination she looked off to the side of the building, the one who pissed himself at the start of this was curled up on the side of the building, holding himself and rocking back and forth. His envelope was opened, but he clearly had stayed there the entire time Zona and the others were gone. "He's going to die..." Zona thought to herself as she looked at the sad man. He looked up at her with a puppy dog look as if to say 'help me'. Zona just stared at him with an emotionless expression, and shook her head at him clearly saying to him 'you sad man, your going to die'. All the man did was put his head between his legs and rock faster than before, as Zona began to walk in she heard a soft sobbing sound, obviously coming from the man. "Ohh ya, he is sooo going to die." Zona thought with a slight smirk, "Maybe I could be the one to do it!" Her smile grew slightly at the thought of this.
Once entering the building and going back down the stairs to the celler, Zona looked around to see who all was there. There were groups large and small of the hooded members standing around, but none of the other 'newcomers', as the redhead said earlier, were there... not counting the one who pissed himself outside, he hasn't even tried to go after his target, so Zona didn't really count him as one of them. Zona stood there wondering what to do, as she did so the blood from her shoulder wound began to run down her arm. Realizing she never did anything with it she grabbed the red bandana that was tied around her leg and used it as a bandage. She's done this hundreds of times before so it was just a routine of hers -first, off goes her short jacket -second, the bandana wrapped around her arm -third, tie the bandana using her free hand and teeth -fourth, jacket goes back on. Zona knew the bandana would be soaked in blood in minutes, but she didn't really mind, she kind of liked it... the warm feel on her arm, kind of... comforted her. As she waited for something else to happen Zona pulled the knife out of her pocket and began to twirl it around and played with it in her hands, if she didn't have to give it to them to really show she did it, she just may keep it as a toy for herself.

When Zona waltzed back in, Stephen was cleaning his knives with a bored expression. The girl seemed to have picked up a wound. What was with that woman and getting hurt? With a sigh he got up and went to chat with her, thinking of nothing better to do. "I see that you picked up a souvenir on your little 'excursion" he said quietly, propping himself against the wall near her. His hood was still up as he studied her with his abnormal yellow eye.
"Which one rich boy, his knife or the lovely gouge in my arm?" She replied to him with extreme sarcasm. "And hey just a fun question here, what would you say were to happen if another new assassin who was trying out for this guild, had their target barge in on another one who just killed their target? What exactly do you think would happen to said new assassins?" Zona asked the rich boy, she thought he had been here long enough to possibly know something. She prayed that it wouldn't mean she couldn't get it.
