Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

So, if your character had a theme song, what would it be. I was talking to Danny about these things because he asked me and I am curious what you all think yours would be. This is the closest I think I could find at the moment for Addi.

Edit: I JUST got introduced to this song and well, this also did not entirely fit because of just a few lines but drat was it much closer to what I had in mind for him. I can't believe I haven't heard this song before. I took this more as things concerning Anders, Lodan, and everything.

EDIT: Originally I chose Porcelain by Red Hot Chili Peppers because deep down she is all about her mothers rejection for a better life with Clairee and her father and fathers family.
But I prefer something with a lot more grit to it for this character, so instead of looking at her past and her vulnerability (like Porcelain) I'm editing in this

Among all songs out there that I could find, if there's one that fits Edelweiss like a glove is Antebellum, by Vienna Teng. And even more fitting since I imagine Edel's voice to sound more or less like it too.

Love hearing Boyce Avenue and Carly Rose Sonenclar's version
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
