Stephen nodded respectfully to the man as he departed, glad that he did not question as to why he wanted to galavant off into the rain. Before he left he heard Linda and George's hushed words about Sir Storms past. Charles frowned sadly "What a terrible story... He had my deepest sympathies." he said sorrowfully as the George left. The two Leland's stood there quietly, processing the information they had just been given. "So, the rumors were right, he does view Andersweltlers as actual people. He will make a fitting friend if some one finds out about your-" Stephen took in a sharp breath and turned to glare at his fathers serious face "Why are we talking about this in public" he snapped in a hushed voice. Charles's smiled sarcastically at his son "Too true, would not want you to slip up like you did in Brisol again. Be careful. I will see you in the morning." and with that the man turned and walked into his room.
Stephen stood there, looking at the place his father had just been with a blank look on his face. Sometimes that man showed a side of him that was terrifying. Turning on his heels he walked outside into the cool rain. The rest of the world was quite except for the sound of the rain against the pavement. Walking over to a nearby lamp post, he leaned up against it. It was never pleasant to be reminded of his slip up in Bristol. The loss of the clockwork doll core was not the only reason as to why the Leland family moved. A sigh slipped past his lips. Turning his head up he looked up to the sky, letting the rain fall onto his face. No doubt he would be soaked in a few minutes but he did not care; the rain calmed him. It had been a rough day.
And then he breaks out randomly in "On my own" from Le Mis X3
