In the warm early morning, the soft air flowing past the sailing skyship as birds chirped up in the nest, nuzzled back into a crook of the ships fins, Levi woke, finding himself in a rather large bed, on soft, silky smooth sheets. He pushed himself up, looking around as rays of penetrating light buzzed through the stained glass window above him. He pushed himself out of the bed, and crawling comforter, to find a smooth wooden floor beneath his feet, the room large and open, almost the size of the deck it felt like. He bumbled around for his things, his hat, cloak, and other daily possessions as he moved to find Cait. He scratched the back of his neck, and pocketed a hand in his rear pant pocket as he took the door knob, a glistening ivory against the dark, heavy colored wood. He twisted it with a satisfying thud as the tumbles turned, and pulled back on the light the door, the sun blinding him for a moment, causing him to lift his hand infront of his own view, blocking out the light until he emerged from the cabin...
And there she was, standing at the bow, her usual gettup changed for something more high class, an elegant white robe. It felt like the ship's deck went on forever, almost as if it could revolve the world, and touch itself again..He took one step, and then another, finding himself upon Caitlin quickly, the blinding light beating down on his face, though the metal studs felt as cold as ever, he thought to himself as he dragged his hand over his face to his cap, adjusting it downwards to block the light.
"Cait.." He called out, waiting for her response. Surprised she didn't hear him, seeing as even if the motors were turned off, the world silent around him.
It took not but a second before she began to turn, a soft smile on her face as she reached her arms out, suggesting an embrace a deal sealing moment. Levi took a breath for himself, after losing his own at the sight of her, time and time again, and nothing changes. He steps closer, pulling his arms out for her as he nears, the woman seeming to move backwards with his advancements, until she leans off the edge of the ship, his hand out reached for hers as she takes a plunge down..
And he plunges up, his heartbeat sounding the drums of war in his own ears, the cold sweat sticking his arms to his chest holds himself up, running a clammy hand over his own face as he takes deep, short breaths. He looks around the dark room he's in, the clock in the corner ticking rather slowly, but perhaps that's what happens when two anders share the room. He looks through the shadows, pulling faces out of the dark and into his mind, before looking next to him, finding a soft sleeping Caitlin. He blinked a couple of times, recalling the nights events. She probably doesn't even know he's here, came in through the window so her father wouldn't see him. He gripped the bed sheet in his hand, sitting upright he ran a chilly finger down the woman's curves underneath the linen barrier. He leaned off the bedside, looking for the pencil and paper she kept near for her dream-discoveries, and midnight planning sessions. He jotted something quickly down, relying on the own light produced by his eyes to get the job done before placing the paper down, flatly placing the pencil on it before moving down in the sheets. The window was left slightly open, a warm ocean size breeze rolling through the curtains, revealing an ever approaching sun. Levi smiled, and placed a warm kiss on Caitlin's shoulder, before wrapping an arm around her slowly, and propping his arm up under his pillow, so he can continue his soft kisses on her back, hopefully waiting long enough for her to wake up, or to fall asleep the only way he would ever want to.
The note simply stated.. "Wake me when you do - Levi " Signed with a sloppy heart, and a leaning smile.
