Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Open to Medivha and whoever else might be interested in joining Causing trouble. Tom had no issues in admitting that this is what he did. It was his favorite pastime after all. What a better way to spend any free time he had? And what a better place to do it than outside of the headquarters where the vile dogs of the military were housed? He wouldn't enter the barracks, of course. Too risky. Especially after the festival. At least one member knew his face. But that was okay. The festival was worth it. There seemed to only be two figures stationed outside, one, clearly a guard of sorts, standing next to the gate, all dolled up with his crisp, clean uniform and stoic gaze. The other looked to be a woman.... Was she in a uniform? It didn't quite look like it, but the insignia was present... Maybe she was new. A new recruit. Not yet integrated into the barracks. Puurrrfect. Tom slid over to this woman. "Aye lass, what're you doing outside? Doesn't look like you're with the guard over there." He said, gesturing his head in the man's direction. Feigning interest, he continued. "Are you a new recruit or somethin'? Haven't gotten your uniform yet?" At his side, deceit magic welled up in one hand. Confusion would surely make this conversation more interesting.
Vieka flicked her eyes to the strange man lingering about, a disinterested expression plastered on her face. She'd been in a bit of a daze since the festival, not really picking up on things as she normally would due to the constant stresses floating around her head. As such, she didn't give him much mind, going back to thoughtlessly ticking through her check list while her thoughts continued to riot in her head. Somehow, she needed to prove to Stephen her devotion to him, an easier feat said than done. Not only did she have to convince the noble she wanted only the best for him, she'd have to deal with Charles again, and the man probably didn't look upon her fondly considering she ran off with his only heir last time.
"Aye lass, what're you doing outside?"
She blinked and turned her gaze, seeing the man once again, only this time much closer, talking to her apparently. Odd looking fellow, certainly on the rather busted up side, somewhat made her want to turn her nose up, or more likely cover it with a hanky so as not to breath in a foul smell. Thankfully, the man didn't smell nearly as bad as he looked.
"I'm checking the fence condition." She answered bluntly, speaking before really thinking. It's not like he needed to know, or should know for that matter, but she had bigger things to think about than some hobo pestering her for whatever nonsense. Perhaps he wanted some change. Sadly, she didn't carry money on her person. Too many pick pockets running about these days.

There was a sort of disgust in the woman's expression when she took in his appearance, sprinkled with pity. It was a reaction he got quite often - one he had come to know well. One he had come to despise. "Ah, well," he said with a shake of his head and a snicker "I suppose I'll leave you to your work, then-" He hit her on the shoulder in a friendly, 'keep it up' sort of gesture, with the hand in which the Deceit spell had been swirling, and turned to walk away. He, of course, was going to stay nearby. See what would happen next.
