Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Different lighting angles of the same image, since some of the gold marks don't show up otherwise. The quality of this water colour paper was terrible though, which i think didn't help with this image in general. I like the concept though, even though i think this could use with far more shading and work. I do have a bigger watercolour pad now, so i might try something like again to get the concept down. maybe with similar themes to the image below??
This is probably one my favourite images i've done in watercolour so far. It's simple but effective, and because i knew where i was going with it, it actually didn't take me all that long to complete. Then i tried doing something digitally and i felt like slamming my face against a brick wall. i am clearly very out of practice.
*screaming at how bad i've gotten out of practice*
Edit: Self esteem renewed a bit, i forgot i did this one

Shadow beasts can have many shapes and sizes, as it can be seen here on the forum's Bestiarium thread.
You can also submit your own beast designs (and make them canon for everyone to use in their rp threads if you so wish) by filling this meme Here. Approved memes will be moved to the bestiarium.

Here's Semiramis, the sword(s) Edel can summon with Necromancy and Cryomancy, respectively. The design stays basically the same, just changing the materials (bone and keratin for one, clear and dark ice for the second). Differently from Danny's necro weapons, Semiramis doesn't scream nor moan in agony... thankfully...

Well I just recently got some new markers and I wanted to give them a try, so I thought, Why not draw Zona?! And I did! Though it didn't turn out the way I wanted, it still was fun to make. I'll have to mess around the the markers more in the future. but for now this is what I can do. Oh and I though it would kind of be interesting to see some progress shots of it too. Anyway, enjoy!

This is much more... easy on the eyes than Danny's Necro sword.
Given that he Canically taught it to Cait, and I bought the skills (though they've never been used) I wonder what caits version would look like...?

My guess is it depends on what Cait focuses on when handling a weapon (and also what you as her creator and artist wants to draw, of course).
Danny was all for the intimidation factor, which makes sense in her sword turning out creepy and made of a series of gathered parts instead of a solid piece even if it's not the most convenient. Edel is all for comfort and efficiency, so she summons something that has a sharp edge and good weight to wield and just 'feels right' in her grip - and she's also a bit of a perfectionist so there's always a touch of refinement to it. Caitlin... going for practicality and something she's already used to handling, it would give her something similar to her usual metal sword, maybe?
Todays doodles and plot bunnies, and i'll probably upload my other rough sketches at some point. Changes coming soon *wiggles fingers* Edel fluffy approved.

That just reminded me I had this drawing sitting on my computer for a while and I had never uploaded it, so here it goes: (It was supposed to be a birthday gift but by now it's so late it hurts, sorry Vieka)
I have no idea if I got her henna even vaguely right... and got her hair wrong for sure. I might edit hairbangs on her later.
