Edelweiss felt glad things were developping slow enough for her levels of annoyance to drop back down. Anger clouds judgement, that's a fact, but never ringing clearer than in moments like this. The one who acted as their unit's leader was still a crappy prototype of human roach in her eyes, but the others were worth acknowledging as not simply something troublesome to get out of the way and be done with. The sniper was skilled, and the other two melee fighters who kept focused on her were loyal and determined, in the least that could be said. Be them soldiers or assassins, they were just people doing their jobs - albeit a bloody job.
Under normal circunstances she might have tried to recruit them into CAEsAL rather than placing them in her list. It was unfortunate that they had such a leader, and also that they had been brought forth before the wrong target(s). Fitting feeling for a war - everything in it is unfortunate, but nonetheless unavoidable.
Just like she was running thin on time to keep the air shield going, and the sniper dodging her wire made it so just snatching his rifle away was not an option. The redhead could spot him retaking his position for shooting at Amon. She really wanted to spare her strongest daily spell just in case Amon tried doing that dreadful 'I am dead' thing again and she needs to cast Health V, but it looked like he'd be physically fine as long as he stayed in his robot (or controlling it from afar). So as necessity demands, she had to be rid of the sniper.
No space for hesitation here.
"Sorry." Although the word itself was empty, and only loaded by an augmented Toxins V cast. Two and half minutes before it starts kicking in, counting down.
The next second, her shield dropped and she darted towards the melee duo. Two was a number reasonable enough to handle using unharmed combat against - and they'd make good shields against any shots coming her way as long as she can keep either of them between herself and the line of fire.
As for Amon... that was turning progressively more worrisome. Edelweiss isn't above taking lives - she's leader of a guild of assassins, for heavens sake - and she had some sadistic oddballs in her worker ranks as well, but from the point one went from killing someone to stay alive or protect others into laughing 'Squishy squishy' while crushing someone's bones that stopped making sense and started sounding like the actions of a psycho.
"Amon, control yourself!" That was something she never expected she would need to be saying. Also, she'll probably be hating herself for even daring to say it in the next seconds, but she had to try snapping him out of the crazed roaring rampage into something saner. "You're sounding like a madman! Don't relish in the blood you shed... also it's slippery, be careful there."
