Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

“An animal show? I think I know one performing today.” He thought to himself for a few moment before turning down another road, leading her on a new path. “He might be an older dog, but there’s no reason why he couldn’t learn a new thing or two. Do you use treats with him? That’s how I see most trainers do it.” After a bit more walking, he stopped before a performance going on. He saw a few animals involved. Hopefully it would be what Elaine was looking for.

"I usually use treats, but I sometimes make him learn commands with just verbal reward." She explained whistling lightly and Cas instantly fell back at her heels. "I've made most of his commands link to simple noises. He does get stubborn though. It tends to take longer if I'm just doing everything verbally to get him to learn something only because he just gets cocky and refuses to listen." Elaine grinned looking around as they changed directions. The sounds of applause no longer immediately capturing her attention in awe as it used to. "Treats are for things I need him to learn quickly." She mentioned before the show catching her eye and she turned to look. She was honestly looking for anything to teach Castiel that he didn't already know that would be useful if she began to bring him on some jobs or to the theater. He was a patient, clever, and a good dog and he listened well once you got it drilled into his thick skull.

He nodded to her explanation as to how she trained her dog. If it worked, he had no reason to tell her differently, however he would have used treats a bit more than she was. Before them the show was just beginning its next act, this one featuring a mix of dogs and cats together. They entered walking in a line and then split up into their respective species. The cats walked up a thin board to a tight rope over the heads of everyone while the dogs began doing a sort of dance. Each dog was standing on its hind legs and had a supposed dance partner they were walking (well, more like hopping) with.
Lasair glanced to Elaine to see what she thought of it so far. Perhaps it wasn’t the kind of thing she would care for.

Elaine was laughing, her lips pulled back into an amused grin. She found the act viciously adorable. Cas pausing to sit beside her and just watch, his tail flicking with every other second that passed. He wasn't totally sure why it thrilled his master so to see animals bouncing around but if she was happy, so was he. The feline Ander giggled as she pulled her hair over her shoulder and watched the cats now. Their agile grace not foreign to her, or really that new. Elaine of course was by no means clumsy, but she had her moments.

At first Lasair was watching the show, seeing how all the animals performed and behaved. But then he snuck a glance at Elaine and found himself smiling. She was really enjoying the act, which was a little surprising but still good all the same. He was happy he had picked a good show for her, and he continued to watch, waiting for it to end. While the dogs were dancing, above them the cats were being daredevils. The rope they walked on was flat at first, but then it slopped downward for a segment, and then back upwards. The cats seemed to be able to handle this tough walking, but it was nerve racking all the same. It was nearly impossible for a human to walk on a slopped line.
After a bit of time, the song being played for the animals ended. The dogs ended their amusing dance and shook out their fur. The trainer threw a treat to each one as the cats came down from their tightrope, padding off into their carriers where a fresh bowl of food was waiting for each of them. With the cat boxes closed, the dogs hopped up onto the small cart and while some crew members made sure everything was secure and fastened, the man leading the whole show walked around the crowd with an outstretched hat, eager to accept any coins the people had to offer. Lasair reached forward and gave him a few coins as he passed and then turned to Elaine, watching the crowd begin to fade. “Like the show?”
