Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Open to Edgar Anapello"So wait what is going on? Where are we going?" Leo asked as he looked at the back of his brothers head. This was a view he was not used to, after all the two were always sided by side, but when one began walking faster than the other well...
"I told you it's going to be a surprise! Just come on it will be fun, trust me!" Emelo said as he spun around to look at his brother before spinning back around, walking in front of his brother with a smile on his face.
Leo sighed as he followed behind his brother. Looking around some he noticed they were walking into the merchants district. Were they going to a store? Following Leo shoved his hands into his pockets.
The two walked fro a bit longer before coming to a small shop. Emelo smiled as he looked over to his brother, "We're here!" Emelo said with a smile as he walked over to the door, grabbing it to hold it open.
"We're getting a hair cut?" Leo said somewhat unimpressed as he walked in. "What made this happen?" Leo asked as he looked around some once inside.
"Well you were talking about it the other day and since we got some new clothing I thought it might be fun." Emelo said as he stepped inside and looked around some. Looking around some Emelo searched for a barber, "Hello." He said with a smile as he stepped up some.

Having not expected any customers today, Edgar was sitting behind the counter with a book in his hands, reading about the epic quest that Gilgamesh had gone on. However, the story needed to be paused when the bell hanging over the door run, and a pair of twins walked in. Sticking a bookmark into the pages, he set the book on the floor and walked around to greet the boys.
“Hello and welcome to Anapello’s Barbershop. Are you both here for a haircut or just one of you?” he asked in a pleasant tone, smiling gently towards them. In the back of his mind, he could faintly recall meeting these boys before—twins weren’t common after all—but it was under unpleasant circumstances so it would be better if that memory was swept under the rug.

"Both if you don't mind. It should be easy though, it will be the same style for us both." Emelo said with a smile as he walked over to the man. "Sorry about just coming in, we didn't know if an appointment was needed or if walk ins were fine." Emelo added as he rubbed the back of his neck some, feeling a bit bad for that... He should have stopped in before but he wanted this to be a surprise after all.
"This will be the first time we have done this in the city, still new to what is excepted and what isn't." Leo said as he turned around some. This guy looked familiar... Where did they see this guy before.
"If you need we can make an appointment and come back." Emelo said as he looked around some, though it didn't look like he was too busy. "If not did you need like a picture or something of what the style would look like?" Emelo asked as he looked back over to the man.

Edgar continued to smile kindly as the boys appeared to get nervous over whether or not they needed an appointment. He found it kind of charming in a sense. “No, no appointment is needed. If I didn’t accept walk-ins, I wouldn’t have a business. Come, have a seat both of you.” He waved a hand forward and then towards the line of chairs at the center of his shop. They were rather spaced out, to give him room to work.
“What will I be doing with your hair today?” he asked once the boys were seated. A moment later, he found his eyes drifting down to their hands. Were they wearing gloves? Or were those claws he saw at the ends of their fingers?

The twins walked over to the row of chairs and both sat down Leo taking the chair to the right of his brother and Emelo doing the opposite. The two looked around some as they took a seat Leo looking all around and Emelo looking over to the man here and there.
"Oh ummm..." Emelo said as he began to dig around in one of his pockets, "I brought this. I think if we could do something like that, just a bit shorter that would be great." Emelo said as he pulled out a picture, something that looked to be from a paper or magazine, and handed it off to the man. "If you could can you do my brother first? I was trying to make this a bit of a surprise for him so the less he can see until it's done the better."
Leo tried to look over at the paper but didn't see anything thanks to the way his brother handed off the paper. Man when he said he wanted this a surprise he really meant that. Leaning back some Leo stared up to the ceiling before turning his attention to something else.
<---Click to make bigger (Kind of what the hair style looks like. Didn't know if you needed to see that or not. And no the twins don't have gloves... Why your guess is as good as mine, they just walk around glove-less!)

No gloves; those were claws indeed. Felines anders like himself, Edgar made a mental note to advertise his other business. But not until after the haircut. Taking the paper from one of the boys, he scanned it for a few moments before reaching for one of his combs. Stepping to the side of the other brother, he combed through the hair a couple times, looking between the picture and the boy’s head all the while.
“I don’t think I can match it perfectly; your hair is a different consistency from that in the photo, but I’ll get it as close as I can.” It wasn’t a difficult style, it was just one of the newer ones popping up. Edgar would have to get good at practicing it anyhow, so why not start with these boys?
Setting the photo down on the counter behind them, he picked up his scissors and began snipping the hair. He didn’t go as quickly as he normally would, but he was still a prompt worker nonetheless. Sooner than later he was finished and stepped back for a moment before beginning to comb through the other’s hair and repeat the process.

"Alright whatever looks best." Emelo said with a smile as he looked over to his brother.
Leo stared off into the distance as the man began to work on his hair. He froze a bit as the man did his job, he wasn't used to having his hair touched and all he could do was hope that this guy really knew what he was doing.
Emelo watched with awe as the man worked. It was rather mesmerizing how the man was able to work that quickly and still get everything exact. It was defiantly turning out good, and Emelo couldn't wait to see it done.
Moving his eyes some Leo looked around, "So have you been working here for long? Or did you just move in?" He asked, the place seemed like it had been here for a while though he just hadn't remembered ever passing by it before.
He slowed his work slightly to reply to the question; talking and working were dangerous things to do at the same time. It was safer to be careful with it. “I’ve been here about a year now and worked in a different shop across the district before moving. This shop was more favorable because it comes with a back entrance. Tell me, boys, do you ever face trouble from having claws as long as those?” He paused a moment, giving them a chance to process his words. “The city frowns upon anders, after all. Many shops would turn you away at the door upon seeing them.”
Edgar’s claws were safely hidden under a pair of black gloves. It was easier to work when they were gloved anyhow. Still, he did enjoy the freedom of having them out in the open, which was why he couldn’t blame the twins for letting theirs hang out as such. But surely they had to realize it was safer to have the traits hidden under a layer of fabric, no matter how small.
