Open to Tyrell O'Callaghan
Sighing, Vieka flopped back against one of the pews, glancing up at the ornate ceiling of the church in appreciation, her mask resting abandoned beside her. Despite coming here for weeks now, the place was still a mess, but that wasn't all too surprising considering the size and the mess the church had been in when she first found it.
It was a nice upside to being chased down by Sveden and shadow beasts, finding this place. It was completely out in the middle of nowhere, deep enough into the forest that it was well within the limits of shadow beast territory, But Vieka didn't mind fighting off the creatures in order to call the place her own. It was nice, the walls overgrown by plants, holes in the roof letting in light, the muddy stain glass windows, over turned pews, half destroyed statues. Some people might have found the place creepy but she only found a strange sense of peace here, the soft lighting tinted by the trees outside and the coloured glass that made the windows.
Slowly, she had been fixing the place, piece by piece. Putting the chairs upright, clearing away rubble, clearing away the weeds but cultivating the plants. There were rooms that were untouched by the chaos, rooms she could easily turn into living quarters, even an old fashion kitchen she could get back into working order.
If it came down to it, If she couldn't control her magic, the doctor could see her living out here, where no one could bother her, or get hurt.
Shaking away the depressing thought, she sat back up, pulling over her bag to see what supplies she she had left. Coming out here was always a trek and she could only really manage it once a week. What with all the Chaos of Lodan, her medical abilities were constantly needed and left her little time to do things she wanted, and walking here from the outskirts of the forest took hours. It was an all day trip for sure, and she rarely told anyone when she would disappear. It gave her time to calm down and distract herself from her growing mental instability and magic spikes.
Some medical stuff in case she ran into shadow beasts or soldiers, a little bit of food and water. She'd probably have to restock everything when she got back, another thing to add to the list. She could bring some sketch things as well so she can plan what she wanted to do with the church, as well as make a map of the surrounding area. Hopefully, there would be a lake or fresh running water nearby.
