Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Rava took a chance to breath , but she know this could be a death sentence for her, she owed Caitlin a lot in life , and at this point would have to follow her into the pits of hell. she know that there was a lot to ask of Caitlin if she did , to ask to keep Mulven safe somewhere or if shed die to deliver the news to him. fighting for lodan , the BOR and her loved ones was more important if she wanted to live. as the echo of her former self show itself one last time. she went down and patted Dice to make him stay as she did what she felt was right.
"Lets show what these cerdos that they dont mess with the Rogues and our City!!" she shouted out to everyone on board as she moved up next to Caitlin giving her a nod as she tired Rally everyone to temper them for the War ahead. " Let us Not lose our homes and our families, our loved ones. Our Blades and our Guns, Our Voice which is Ours. Our City is ours, not anyone else, and if we all Burn in Flame We will not stop as the Pain we take will be our fuel to show them that what Ours is Ours!, for this is OUR HOME!!!!" with one fist in the air above her head , she hope the would be enough , enough to steal away any fears of fighting , any hesitant hand to not do so when facing the demons of war.
He kept scanning the crowd, looking for anything out of the ordinary, as if he were still protecting the Queen of Lodan. Well he was protecting a Queen just the same, even though he still wasn't a member of the Brotherhood yet. He didn't even know if he still belonged here, but he did know that as long as he drew breath he'd always protect Caitlin. Even if she didn't want it.
The big man drew his focus for a moment, as he dropped something, but there was no threat there. Not that he was aware of. The man was new, but he was far from a Sveden or EIRAL spy. As he watched, he suddenly saw a familiar face in Loraine. He hadn't seen her since his escape, nor gotten the chance to thank her. He'd heard that her fox had been killed and his heart went out to her. He knew how much she'd loved that fox. So much so he'd given her special permission to keep the animal with her against regs. He hoped he'd get a chance to talk to her afterward, she was the only familiar thing about this place.
His glance returned to Caitlin as her speech reached a fervor. He had no idea what War she was referring to, but from her look it must have been a bad one. She was right, one way or another they would defeat Sveden. He already had an idea on something that might help them get an edge, even though it would wound the EIRAL.

"I am well," came her reply, voice barely above a whisper so as to not draw attention to either herself or her companion. "I hope you are as well, Thrakazog." She could only offer the large man the briefest of glances before she lowered her gaze to the rest of the pirates and rogues gathered aboard. Among them she saw several faces and much to her chagrin she would never have known that some of these familiar faces were vagabonds--just as she would never have taken into consideration that Caitlin led them. Those she did recognize was the blue haired girl whom she had only ever seen in passing, and one she had personally arrested. The woman--what had her name been... Rava? Something of the sort. How humorous fate must find itself to one day put the criminal and the law enforcer together on the same ship serving under the same person for the same cause. When the outcries of others followed the Queen's words, Lorraine stole another glance of the crew and this time her eyes found her ex-high commander's. She had maybe seen him the first time but had not recognized him. The scar looked too fresh still as it marred his nose and hid beneath the eye patch that concealed his ruined eye. As their eyes met briefly, she bowed her head in subtle acknowledgement of his presence. Here, they were equals but she would never see him as anything other than her better.

Now that Lorraine was nearby, Thrakazog stood up and paid closer attention to the goings-on around him. Some of the nearby rogues probably looked at the way he stood near (and over her) as a protective stance - one that an older brother or mate might employ to safeguard their smaller kin. But if any knew him - and most didn't yet - they'd realize that for the most part the protection went the other way around. He was standing close to the smaller woman to feel safer himself. And perhaps the more interesting part was that he'd never seen her actually fight anyone. He had no idea if her soldiering had given her the skills to back up her claim of her past career.
Instead, he believed she was all that (and a bag of crisps) strictly because of her bearing. Every time he'd been with her, whether fixing the engine on a ship, cleaning a rat's nest out of a hold, or even attending (or fleeing) a simple party in costume, she'd borne herself with confidence and poise. With mortar fire crashing the Queen's Masquerade party, he'd been the one to panic and look to the skies in fright. SHE had been the one to take him by the hand and given him the direction to flee... or retreat... or withdraw... whatever the soldiering term was.
It was probably a good thing that she was so strong under pressure too, because as Caitlin's exclamations drew to a close, a smaller woman spoke up. Somehow, her voice was louder, or more cutting - maybe it was higher in pitch - but it wasn't so much how she spoke as what she said that made Thrakazog even more afraid than he'd been before.
She cried out, "Lets show what these cerdos that they don't mess with the Rogues and our City!!"
He was with her at that point, despite his concerns. "Yub... me nub know wut a cerdos iz, but dem nub mess wit us," he thought, nearly putting an arm around Lorri's shoulders before he caught himself. Other sailors around him made murmurs or shouts of agreement.
"Let us Not lose our homes and our families, our loved ones. Our Blades and our Guns, Our Voice which is Ours. Our City is ours, not anyone else," the petite woman belted, and everyone's voices rose in impassioned affirmation.
Even Thrakazog spoke out, though it was relatively quiet and too deep to be heard by anyone more than a few feet from him, "Yub!" Though, as he thought about it, he didn't own a blade or a gun. And even if he did, he didn't really know how to use them effectively. He wasn't a very good combatant at all, and had only survived his first voyage with Captain Caitlin because he lost his temper and his mind, and simply overpowered his opponents.
"... and if we all Burn in Flame We will not stop as the Pain we take will be our fuel to show them that what Ours is Ours!" The woman concluded emphatically.
And that's where she lost Thrakazog.
"Burn in flame?" He mumbled. He did NOT want to do THAT!
"Pain?" He grimaced. He didn't want THAT either! He'd only just recovered from his injuries while on board the Dauntless.
A sloop in his shoulders started, followed by a slouch in his posture. What had he signed up for? He was a pirate? He was going to have pain? Burn in flame?? He did not like this one bit - not at all! And the only thing that kept him from dropping his toolbox again and heading for the lift to go back down to the ground was Lorri standing right next to him. Well - that and the crowd of excited pirates, sailors, and crewmen all hooting and hollering themselves into a frenzy. Thrakazog's face went white, and he began to sway on his feet. Years at sea had earned him the fortitude to not get motion sickness, but he sure felt like he was about to faint.
Ikuze nodded at Caitlins words, remembering the mission to that crazy country. She looked out across the assembled crews before speaking herself. "We've got an advantage over these foreign bastards. We know these seas, we know these skies, we know this land better than they do. They somehow get into Lodan itself, we know these streets, where every bolt hole, where every nook and cranny is." called out the blue haired thief.
"We will strike them from the air, we will strike them from the seas, we will strike them from the shadows!" she called out before smirking. "Hell! We'll do what this gang does best! We'll bloody well steal the food from their mouths before they can even taste it! We'll take their drink, we'll take their ammunition! We'll take everything of theirs before they can take what is ours!" she crowed, letting the crowd react to her words before she continued to speak.
"We're not soldiers. We're not assassins. We're not merchanics." Ikuze said, letting her words sit in their ears. "We're thieves! We're pirates! And you know what else we are?!" she asked the assembled crews. "We're the bloody best at it to boot!" crowed the thief, a large smirk plastered across her face. "So, who else is up for the largest heist this city has ever seen eh? Cus, when we steal their ammunition, their food, their drink, hell! Even the clothes off their backs! What are they going to do without all that eh? Fight with sticks in their skivvies against all of us?!" cackled the thief, using her words to encourage the assembled throng of people whilst at the same time trying to keep their spirits up from the impending doom. She looked over to Caitlin. "Just give the word your Majesty."
Emily quietly about the back of the crowd, almost wearing the color off the wood below her feet. Her hazel gaze flicked through all the pirates and thieves around her. Many of them rallying their war cries causing her ears to ring. The native shifted to stand tall behind the lines listening to the rallied cries of her comrades. She couldn't help but feel the rise of her own call in her throat. The air was intoxicating with its pride and desire to prove. There were cries of men thirsty for blood and others ready to serve their city. She listened intently as the Baroness spoke her opinions and orders, as well as Ikuze and a woman Emily did not recognize. The young woman keened along with the rest of them in their pride and desire to fight on. But her voice soon grew quiet, as a few doubts entered her mind. Although now was no time to be having second thoughts but she couldn't help but heed the whispers in her mind that reminded her of the consequences of war. The city was going to be distraught, and morale was of the utmost importance in times like this. "Scatter their ashes and bones in the sea, the sea that is ours!" The younger pirate called, not as loudly as those up front, but the ones around her could clearly hear her bold statement. "They will regret the day they thought they could take my city! Our city!" She raised a fist in triumph. ((Ooooooooohhhhh I am so late! DX Sorry about that, senior project just let up and I thankfully have a break to go through all my characters with now!))
The Lady Caitlin made a speech it didn't snap his mind out of its own little world but it has clearly spurred on the rest of the crew people began to cheer some even join in adding their own war cries and shouts. The crew rallied each statement fuelling the atmosphere.
One point got his attention more than the others and they were so dam correct he actually wanted to join in with the war cries he stopped wallowing in his own thoughts, she was so right they are not soldiers or assassins they are but thieves and pirates. He span around and pushed himself away from the edge joining in with the crowd and its cheers. This truly will be the greatest heist Lodan has ever seen.
He grinned at the very thought of a pay day as big as this, he was truly enthralled with the idea the things he could get, this could be one he has been waiting for the haul that would end all other pay days! “HERE HERE FOR THE BEST PAYDAY WE HAVE EVER SEEN!” He added, the crew cheered though that was no effort on his part as they were cheering at everything by this point, but he felt good nonetheless.

When it came to possessive traits, the BOR had it in force. Not a single person on this boat lacked it, and it was enough to stir the crowd. The enthusiasm grew, and it was enough. She didn't have to push any further, they had regained purpose, refound their identity and their strength in this troubling time. Being caught off guard and unawares, feeling trapped were shackles to the mind, and they were now set free once more.
Caitlin leaned over to Ikuze as the crowd roared on. To her she said, "Find me Lorraine, Thrak, Emily Grace and Pyre. Bring them to my cabin. I've got a special mission for them." She nodded once she knew the message was audible and Ikuze had it, then she turned to Rava and pat the woman on the shoulder. "Find the former Eiral commander," She asked the one eyed woman. "Send him to me as well." After that, she handed over the mob to Harold and Juniper to pass out instructions to. They knew what she wanted handled, and they would ensure it got done. Her primary objective would be settled personally, and she'd see to it herself. Once everyone arrived.
The commander go there first (see the Man who Stole the World) Which allowed her a moment to feel all that she'd been avoiding. They managed to pull it back together in time for the rest of the recruits to join them. Once everyone was in - Ikuze and Rava included - she'd brief them on what came next. She needed to things acquired, so she'd have to send out two separate groups. Every one of them would be needed to get this done.
Time skip to everyone arriving in Caits Cabin please, write yourselves arriving and I'll assign the following missions
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin

Both Thrakazog and Lorraine had been standing with one another when they were approached to reconvene at the Queen's cabin. "Come on, Thrakazog. Let us go see what is needed of us." With that, she went to take his hand and lead him back toward Cait's cabin where they soon stood with the Queen and Skye waiting fr the rest to assemble before their assignments were given to them.

Thrakazog was visibly relieved to have Lorraine by his side. She knew what to do, and she didn't panic. So when they were called upon, even though he had a flutter of nervous butterflies in his ample belly, he felt secure as she took him by one hand. His other carried his toolbox, and in just a few minutes, he found himself in the Queen's cabin, looking about expectantly. He'd seen Captain's cabins before, but this one was a little different. Maybe it was because she was a woman... maybe it was because she was the Queen of Rogues, or the Captain of a Pirate vessel. But the details of her surroundings told something about the person he worked for.
He set down his toolbox with a 'clank' and offered a tentative, "Ug dere, youz." It was an elegant greeting, for him.
Rava stood there in the back arms crossed , she had noticed the former commander of the army had already made it to the carbon so she was there , she scanned over the people in the room and found that one looked very very familiar.... a bit too familiar, she would have to report this later to Cait about that familiar face , however she was more in through of the pirates where going to win this war , they had air and sea superiority but on land there could be a huge problem if they brought tanks and land forts along. this would be bad since Rava know how dangerous a land fort or a tank would be to a ground troop... unless they had a tank or land fighting mechs of their own.
Pyre entered the cabin giving the room a quick scan, the cabin was not what he expected he had seen a fair share of them in his time as well. Pyre looked at the small group that had started to form in the cabin he had seen a few of them about but never truly spoke with them in person himself. “Nice to meet cha,” he bowed to the room “names Pyre, isn't anything I cannot shift or sell on” he smiled looking at the others and then finally Cait, “Okay I fess up there are a few things I cannot sell but stolen goods that I definitely can!” he grinned sticking his thumb up.
He quickly found a spot to slide into and lean against the wall so he was not blocking the rooms entrance. As he waited for instructions on their next orders, he pondered on how his friends are doing he knew they were tough but he still worried about them nonetheless. Then again he knew one person who would hold her own with ease.
Emily approached the Captain's cabin more than a little curious. After being summoned to it she noticed a few others heading in that direction as well. She slipped in through the door quietly, the last again. At least she wasn't late right? She made brief eye contact with Caitlin and nodded in greeting. "Ma'am." She gave everyone else a respectful nod in turn, looking over each one. Then Emily stood quietly waiting for whatever it was that the Baroness called them for.
He tried to meld himself back into the shadows. Other than Lorraine, these were people he'd have tossed in a jail cell a year ago. In fact, one of them he had tossed in a Jail Cell a year ago, and the released in return for a date with Caitlin. Huh, when he put it in that context it really didn't paint him in the greatest light. Though at that point he was trying to dig himself out of a very deep hole he'd dug himself when it came to the Lady Cockfoster.
He nodded as other's made their introductions, but remained silent himself. He'd already discussed one of the missions with Caitlin, but it was her meeting and up to her what she wanted to tell each of them.
The blue haired thief looked around the cabin room, noting the number of heads before looking back to Caitlin and giving a mock salute. "All present and accounted for." she declared as she leaned her butt against the Queen's desk. She wasn't quite sitting down on it, but it could almost appear as such. Wasn't as comfortable as sitting, but it would do the job till she got the plan from Caitlin about what they were all going to do, and her position would let her move freely and quickly. Plus if something went horribly wrong, she could quickly jump the desk and use it as a barrier. Not that anything would go wrong today, but it was always nice to be prepared in this line of work for such a thing.
