Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Rook began quietly singing a song to himself. "Just tell me old shipmates, I'm taking a trip mates, and I'll see you someday in Fiddler's Green." He turned to the other two. "Either of you know how to sing?" He continued without waiting for an answer. "You know Fiddler's Green, right? Of course you do." Rook grinned as he kept singing and wandered towards Dodger's Pub. A group of drunks were out front and perked their ears up when they heard Rook's song, and began singing along raucously. One of them, Barry, took a big swig from his mug and wandered over.
"Hey, hey, lookit this piece'a garbage come washed up here." He grinned and threw his arms wide as Rook did the same and went in for a bear hug on the man. "You should not talk that way, Barry, not with how fat your backside is." The bigger man grinned and ruffled Rook's hair as he looked at the company tailing the red head.
"What're you bringing us, Rook m'boy?" Rook quickly interrupted him. "Boy? I am older than you are, Barry. You should respect your elders." Rook's grin split from ear to ear as Barry, a man with a large gut who looked about forty, turned to him and swung to cuff him. "Shuttup. One year ain't no elder of mine." Barry gave Lorraine a wink and a grin before glancing at the smallest member of the party and beckoning him over. "C'mere lad, any friend'a this crazy bird's a friend'a mine."
"Hello Mr... Uh.." Basil exclaimed as he skipped over to the larger, drunken man. He didn't know anybody around here... Much less the songs they were singing (and quite out of tune, he might add,) but even if he did, he felt as if singing along would not do well for him... However, he continued with a grin. "Barry? Is that what firebrains called you?.... Do YOU have any food?"

Sadly Lorraine did not know the lyrics to the song, but she listened awhile to the fire haired man sing and then hummed along with him until she caught onto the pattern of the word. Eventually, she joined in where she knew the words to the chorus but went back to humming at the verses she did not know. Lorraine was not the best singer but she certainly could hold a tune. When others joined them she fell silent out of surprise but was grinning wide now as she simply listened then shook her head at the antics of the men deemed Barry and Rook."Good day, sir. I hope the afternoon has been treating you well?"

Barry stared at the two people with Rook, then look at Rook. Rook raised an eyebrow at Barry, who cracked into a big smile and shook his head as he gave a hearty chuckle. "Sure I got some food, kid. Ole Barry's the cook'a this place. Come on, I'll treat you right." He turned and started walking towards the bar and whistled so off key and out of tune it'd be a miracle if anyone could figure it out.
Rook followed Barry and grinned as they walked in. Barry was about as good a cook as Rook was a banana. He wasn't. But when you've been drinking, or your hungry, any food is good food. And it was hard to mess up just frying something.
Barry rummaged around in a cooler chest beneath the bar counter and pulled out two chickens, which he slammed into some flour and dropped into sizzling hot oil. "Hope you like chicken."
"Like chicken? I love chicken! It's like sparrow but seven times better!" Basil exclaimed as he bounced into the establishment and jumped up onto a stool, which was somewhat difficult with his small stature. "Have you ever had sparrow? Not much meat on them but they're surprisingly easy to catch if you're sneaky enough."

Sparrow...? Sparrows were quite small. Lorraine's brows drew together as she tailed the others in. This poor boy, she thought to herself as she watched Basil then the man dubbed Barry as he prepared the chicken... though it wasn't so much prepared as just quite honestly tossing them around before dumping them in oil. "I do enjoy chicken, thank you. Uh, hm, apologies, what was your name again," she turned to Rook. She had heard it when the two men spoke upon greeting but she had not caught it.
