Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Law... more like suggestion [Floyd and Emily Trial]
Ikuze led the new pair to one end of the docks before spinning on her heel and looking at the pair of them properly. To her eye, one of them looked to know what they were doing... sort of. The other would need a bit of work, depending on what it was exactly that they did. "Alright, so then. You two want to work for the Queen hmm? Sea, sky or streets?" she asked the pair of them, indicating the docks, the sky docks, and then the streets into Lodan as she spoke. Best bet right now would be to get a feel for what these two did, that way she could test them properly. "Pirate or thief basically is what I'm askin'." said Ikuze, deciding that an explanation would probably be required, just in case they didn't fully understand. Didn't want to go through any miscommunication here.

Floyd was surprised by the abruptness of the blue haired girl. Then again, he didn't have any real interactions with people all that often. He thought hard upon what she'd asked him. He was used to the streets, picking pockets here, snatching goods there, that was what he knew. Perhaps he could be useful in the streets, thief seemed like the logical choice. He was a thief, every day he was on the streets... Every day. He wanted out. That was the whole point of this. He was sick of the same thing every single day. He wanted to sail the seas. Even if he had no experience. " Pirate. Sea specifically , if I may."
Emily stopped abruptly behind the blue haired woman. Queens she talked fast, and didn't leave much room for idle chat. The half-breed considered her options carefully. Emily had been on both sky and sea ships before but she honestly had to say the sky-ship was her favorite. "Pirate. Only I choose the sky instead of the sea." The woman had to get back in the swing of her treasure hunting. Several apocalyptic deadlines were approaching.
The blue haired thief listened to their answers, eyeing each of them as they spoke. The skinny guy had opted for the pirates life on the high seas... She doubted he'd last long out there, but stranger things have happened, so she'd let the crews decide his fate... Poor bastard didn't know what was going to hit him. The woman on the other hand decided to go for the air route of piracy rather than the seas. Great, more pirates... Starting to feel like the odd duck out here lately. Ikuze thought to herself as she tried to figure out how she was going to test these two for two different areas at the same time. She looked out to the docks and then smirked as an idea came to her... but it would depend on something.
The azure headed girl moved in closer to the pair, indicating they should do the same. "Human or Anders? How much and which?" she asked quietly. "Some of the boats got tech on them, so gotta make sure and all for where to put ye." Once they'd answered she'd pull her head back and resume her normal volume. "Right, Skinny, done much sailing before? If ye ain't, don't worry. Harold'll keep ye straight on his boat, so long as ye don't piss him off. Big guy, lotsa scars, looks like he could chew a cannonball for breakfast. Can't miss him. Tell him the blue midget sent ye for your first day." she said, indicating a ship to the far right of the sea docks. "Well? Hop to it. Ye'll get yer instructions when ye get there." said Ikuze as she looked at Floyd.
She then turned her attention to the woman. "Right Furball, ye're comin' with me to the Screecher. Her cap'n's one of the few that ain't got a beef with me for picking their pockets once or twice in the past." she said, starting to make her way for the Sky Docks with the woman in tow if she followed. Once they arrived she went straight for one of the airborne vessels. "Permission to come aboard Cap'n Jodper." she called up, the Captain, a medium built bloke with red hair who could almost fit the description of rugged gentleman, raising a brow at the arrival before he grinned. "Well well well, if it ain't the little blue bird. What the Queen send you up here for eh? And who's..." he began to ask before it dawned on him. "Oh Queens no... really? Why me eh?" he asked, as he glowered at Ikuze. She shrugged and sighed. "Two at once. The other's with Harold, yer partner for todays jaunt remember? One wanted sea, this one wanted sky, two birds with one stone. Hopefully quick and easy." she said, Jodper sighing as he stroked his beard.
"Poor bastard... they screw up, Harold'll eat them. Ah well, no time to lose then eh? Welcome aboard lasses. Songbird, ye stay outta my way. And as for you new lass," he said looking at Emily, "hope you know your way around a ship. Ain't got much time for teachin' today, even with the little blue haired witch's scheme today." said Jodper, Ikuze rolling her eyes at the description as she went aboard. As soon as she was aboard, she made her way for the short ranged communications hub, waving for Emily to follow her, its operator clinging to the machine desperately at the sight of her when she stepped inside. "Easy Foster, I ain't touchin'. Just need ye to send a message down to Harold alright?" she said, keeping clear of the device. The scrawny man nodded slowly before winding it up and getting it going. He nodded when it was ready. "Alright, guessing you've got Skinny there with ye Harold so listen up Skinny. What's happening here is simple. We're aimin' to make a two pronged strike on a convoy that's comin' into Lodan's port. You lot down there, and us up here. The idea is to get the cargo, and then take it back to our little cove, then come back. Probably be some guards to get in the way, but that's the rub. We've got a deal going with another group that we're aimin' to keep. You do not open that cargo, all you gotta do is do what Harold tells ye alright?"
Once the all clear had been given, both ships set off, taking a circumnavigating route so as they wouldn't draw attention to their real objective.
OOC: Floyd, feel free to control the NPC's down on your end, Emily same for yourself. I'll poke my head in to give direction, but the rest is up to you two The convoy will consist of the transport ship, with two escort ships, one in the air, the other on the sea. Let's get to some piracy!

OOC: Show up at your appointed spot Floyd, and I'll control the NPC's don't want to make you RP with yourself and its unfair to ask Ikuze to control NPC's I created so I'll take it from here Thanks a million though for setting it up Ikuze!!!! Emily, stick with Ikuze on the sky end, I'll help if needed but I Think she can steer you in the right direction there
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin

After the quick instructions from the blue haired girl, Floyd found his way to the specified ship. And found the intimidating captain. He told him who had sent him, and why, then Harold took him to a communications hub where a voice crackled over the device. Although he didn't much care for his being nick named skinny, he agreed to follow orders. When the communications ended, he looked over toward the captain waiting for him to tell him what to do.
Emily merely narrowed her eyes as the blue-haired thief called her a furball but followed diligently nonetheless. Coming up upon a beauty of a sky-ship she looked up as the woman called for permission to board. The man who stuck his head over to look down seemed pleasant enough. Emily watched their interactions with scarcely concealed interest. The young woman nodded at his comment. She hadn't been on a ship in awhile but it would eventually come back to her sooner rather than later. Once aboard the half-breed took the time to look around and enjoy the feeling before catching sight of Ikuze waving her over. Turning slightly she followed into the communications room. The man called Fetcher seemed a bit protective of his devices. 'The blue-haired one must have magic.' She thought. Emily was half feline herself but she didn't get the magical end of the gene pool. She could use tech without much trouble. She even meddled with it from time to time. She listened to the instructions from the woman over the communicator. Two offense, one defense, and a deal. Also the cargo was strictly for their eyes only. That was good enough for Emily. They were off.

Harold was not amused. He'd taken on more than his fair share of trials at Caitlin's beck and call, but to do so for the other noble lass was asking more of him than he felt was reasonable. Not that he'd tell them that. Or the new cat. He kept it to himself and let the lad onboard. They took to the comms room to sync up with the sky component. and Nodded after they finished having words. Last thing he added before the comms closed was simply this.
"Do not let them actually reach the port before hijacking, or we've already failed. We need to pick them clean before they hit the shoreline. They're already in range. Time to move."
Once that channel closed he turned to Floyd Swidger, the new kid. "Here's her majesties first lesson: Do or die, kid, that's all that's left. We're on the clock now, so tell me nice and quick what it is you can do, and we'll get you to work." He eyed the boy up and down and waited to see where he could put the fresh meat so they could see his true colors shining through.
