"I meant I've found you out through one of your own, and before that I found one of your own. CAEsAL fares on and breathes information in general, in varied trades. You'd be surprised how much people talk when they're drunk, or in bed, or just given the right words at the right time. 'Just a group of entertainers', certainly not. We do entertain, but we also exchange and find secrets - or keep them, as you wish to see it. Who people are, where things are, the best routes to reach them - if we don't know, we can find out upon request or need. Although if you want info regarding the navy or the best stocks of booze in town, the BoR should still be more accurate than my guild." She replied with a tranquil smile when Danny asked what did she meant. Partial truth? Yes. But certainly not a lie.
The little mention about Stephen made her chuckle though. So that comfirmed Danny still didn't know about the assassins being within CAEsAL yet. Well, she knew about Stephen to some degree and was trying to gauge more info than that. Edelweiss wondered if she should tell or not. She probably could get away with keeping the secret, but that would be counterproductive since with this deal MI would be training some of the CAEsAL Anders and they'd need to be fit for what they worked with while learning. Also, MI was a secret guild as well. They couldn't simply show up and delate the assassins, not without suffering the same risk.
"Hmm. I could reply to that in a lot different ways but, you're making me a favor and I'm in your house. So I'll trust this bit to you: Yes I am Stephen's boss." She told simply, but said nothing else. Danny should be able to link the remaining dots for what was important.
The redhead wasn't feeling anything off with telling that at the moment, because when the matter was secrecy their odds were stacked evenly, and there was nothing to be gained with turning each other in, but quite a few from being frank. And considering Danny didn't make any of the others present leave when they started talking of guild business, they all were either Danny's workers or knew about her work anyway. As for the HQ, Danny isn't telling of hers, so Edelweiss isn't telling of her own either.
