Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"Lassy said 'e wan'ed ta introduce us, then' ya mentioned business talk. So, we're 'eadin' there 'cause it's easy ta get ta my old 'ouse from there." Danny crossed her arms as she tried to look serious and important while being carried by someone... Oh well.
Danny looked at Lone before speaking. "Ain' no use dwellin' on it. Ya screwed up. Look at it. Learn from it, an' don' make the same mistake again. Folks don' learn from doin' everythin' right the first time. Soon as ya accept tha' fact, sooner ya'll move on an' keep movin' forward."

"Alright, that sounds good to me." She nodded in agreement to getting to Danny's house for a talk.
As Lone slipped out of her hold, Edelweiss let her go without protest, but still kept an eye just in case. The young girl had shorter legs than the rest of them and also looked quite underweight, so it wouldn't be too surprising if she can't keep up to the pace of three adults (well, two, since Danny is being carried like the deadliest bride Lodan ever saw). The redhead woman kept a mental note that if Lone starts lagging behind she would start carrying her again, but for now she let Lone keep running on her own feet. "You can trust what Danny said there. That gold head isn't just for show." They might not think exactly the same way or know each other all that well, but one thing Edelweiss had to admit was Danny had a way with words. Hovel accent and all. Hopefully any future guild business might go well - unless Lasair was talking gibberish before about introducing her to the wrong person due to being too drunk.

Actually doing something smart for once since leaving the bar, Lasair kept his mouth closed as Danny and Edelweiss tried to comfort Lone. He wasn’t exactly sure what it was that she did, but he offered her a friendly smile, if she were looking at him that is.
Other than that, he continued to move forward with Danny held tightly against him, wondering what it would be like to see Danny’s place for the first time.

"A'righ'. Keep goin' past the Mangy Lady. At the end'a the street, put me down an' I'll lead ya the rest'a the way..." Danny gave her directions before muttering aloud to herself. "Been a while since I been 'ome... wonder if things're still there or if the place's been takin' over... no matter. Won' be 'ard ta take it back..."

Take Danny's house back? Oh, great. Fleeing from one group of thugs to possibly meet another. Oh well, at least if they do have to take Danny's house back and she lends a hand, Danny will owe her a favor. A Lasair might have enough exercise to sweat off all that alcohol out his body.

Lasair continued on until the designated point, and upon arriving there, he stood awkwardly for a moment before setting Danny down. He didn’t exactly want to let go of her, but as soon as the weight left his arms, he realized just how tired the trip had made him. Yawning for a moment, he shook his head, trying to ward off the impending sleep. Just a little longer, a few more events, then he could get some rest.
Glancing at Edel for a moment, he finally spoke up. “Who would we have to take it from?” More trouble was not something he was looking forward to getting into.

"Eh, jus' spook some'a the runts tha're good at findin' hidin' places. Ain' nothin' serious." Danny started walking through a back alley until she came to a pile of rubble. "Watch yer step." She picked her way over it before continuing down the alley. It opened up at the end of the street to a debris filled lot, with only a rotted and burned out house being the only building still standing. "A'righ'. Wait 'ere." Danny didn't wait for a reply before heading off and away from the house. Once she was far enough out, and hopefully out of sight of the crew she'd been leading, she went down one of her bolt holes that tunneled beneath the lot. She popped out in the cellar of the house and crept around to make sure all of her traps were still in place. Yup, all good. She went upstairs and hunted around but everything was as she'd left it. There was even the bloodstain on her worn couch from where Caitlin had been dying.
Danny moved to her front door and disabled the crossbow and pendulum traps guarding the door before opening it and calling to the others. "A'rig'! We're clear" She went back inside to wait for her little party.

"....... Alright, that was interesting. " From Edelweiss' point of view there were no other manner to describe Danny sneaking into her own house, wiggling something inside not clearly seen from that distance, and then calling them over like everything was perfectly normal. Well, there they go anyway. Can't have a talk while still standing there.

Months had passed since the raven winged anderswelter had last stepped foot in the city of Lodan. Personal matters had driven him away and now personal matters returned him back to the city. As his wings beat in against the wind, he scanned the city below him before finding what he'd been searching for. Rather than going in the front way, he stopped on the roof of the home where a hole large enough allowed him to pass through. With a loud crash, the hulking figure landed on the floor then stumbled to his knees before reaching back for his wings. One had been wounded where the shoulder met though nothing minor, possibly just a scrape. Shaking his head, Tyrell tugged off the bird mask and peered about the home. He'd only expected to find Danny and not the others present. Furrowing his brows, he studies the other two before allowing his gaze to fall on Danny with the same stupid smile he usually wore.

He watched, yawned, and watched as Danny ran into the house and then opened the door. So this was the place? Hiding it down an alley was a good idea, although the trek here was a bit difficult, it did help rouse the red haired man from impending slumber.
When the door opened wide he stepped forward towards the opening. After Edelweiss entered (because both ladies and gentleman were always first) he followed inside and looked around. He quickly stumbled backwards as a winged ander entered the house; from the roof of all places. Lasair furrowed his eyebrows, recognizing the face from one the guild books, but not remembering his name. But if he were in the guild, he could be trusted, so the red head brushed off some dust and smiled.
"Well, that was a surprise," he remarked to no on in specific.

"Sorry if I might sound rude, but I feel obliged to ask: Is that normal to happen?" Edelweiss asked, looking rather confused as she had entered Danny's house and the first thing that graced her view was the bottom of a masked guy falling from the ceiling.

Danny snarled and whirled when someone fell into her home. This was HER place, and it was going to stay that way. She reached to pull Ahriman into existence again but stopped dead in her tracks when she recognized who the giant was. Danny stopped. She stared. Tyrell. Big giant Tyrell, was in her house. She straightened up from her crouch, pulled down her scarf, and spoke to the people behind her without looking at them so Tyrell could see her mouth.
"No, this ain' normal. Ty stoppin' by's a surprise'n'a half. Bu' make sure 'e can see yer mouth when ya talk. Fellah can't 'ear a thing." She paused and took a breath. "C'mon in... we can talk business in 'ere." Danny's eyes were glued to the big bird man. Whether it was fury, suspicion, or something else even she wasn't sure.

Tyrell's eyes scanned over the other two once more before his eyes fell to Danny's revealed mouth to read her words. When she was done, his hand came away from his wing to reach beneath them into the pack he carried with him. His wings twitched as he could not retract them. The giant moved carefully about to draw closer to the three before revealing his hand to the trio offering Danny a figurine the size of his pinky and some fruit. "Sorry," he says quietly and bowed his head shyly. "Absent for a long time... family." He kept his words short before looking to the other two then back down at Danny. "Wanted to see if you were still okay. Are these friends?"

Lasair listened as Danny introduced the winged man. “Ty” was the given name, which was enough for the red head to remember the rest of his name; Tyrell. Not trusting his sleepless drunken self, Lasair only smiled and waved to the man as he followed Danny.

"..........Oh. Now I know why you seemed familiar." She spoke, trying to make sure her mouth was clearly visible to Tyrell from where he was standing while she followed Danny around into the house. They only met once before, long ago back when Stephen had been making those little experiments with metal bracelets and wristwatches to see if Anders could use tech, but one doesn't simply forget the sight of a black-winged deaf giant that easily. "We met once before, but I don't remember exchanging names. I'm Edelweiss, nice to meet you."
