Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Open to Caitlin Cockfoster Levi believes at one point in time, there was a moment that the words "How about a Valentine's date?" flew from his mouth with the intent of making it happen, and Caitlin's face lit up with a red-tint before accepting it in the only way she could. "HA! If I recall correctly, the first date you took me on wasn't very fun, now was it?" Unable to truthfully remember, Levi goes with the act of yes, yes he did say that, and with it now being a month or two after valentines, it becomes a perfect day to take her out! Woo! He rolls around in the bed for a moment as he stretches. He looks around the room, it's a little late in the day and he felt like a cat-nap was in order so he took one. He gets up out of the sheets, still clothed for the most part. He slips his feet into his boots and ties them before grabbing his coat and sheathed blade from the table and chair. Just as he's adjusting the strap for his weapon, Caitlin walks in with a surprised look on her face. Not so much from Levi being here, but being here at this time. Catboy smirks and stands up straight, placing his hands on his hips in a powerful pose. "I promised you a date for Valentines, did I not?" He asks with a chipper voice. His eyes meet with hers and it feels as if he's making the right decision.

She couldn't tell if he was planning this all along, or if it was complete spontaneity. Caitlin eyed him head to toe, then her rumpled bed, then came back to his rumpled hair. She sighed
"Well, at least I should be thankful you're clothed if nothing else. Good morning sir, despite it being well into the afternoon - treading on evening." She smiled and walked the rest of the way into the room. "Where will we be going, or have you thought that much through yet?"
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
Levi's smirk turns into a soft smile as she comes into the room, his body reacting by walking towards her to catch her mid stride, his hand sliding across her lower back as he brings his face to hers in a lovely embrace of their lips, the touch lingering just a moment before he pulls away. "Come now, Kitten. Some'd say you're my better half, and would I really stiff myself?" He pulls away, his fingers pulling onto hers as he does so, teasing to pull her before he lets go and strides over to the mirror. He takes his hat off and inspects his hair as he tucks his cap under his arm. He fluffs his hair around and until he finds a liking to it, then proceeds to open his mouth to reveal his feline chompers. He makes funny faces as he checks them. He's proud of his pearly whites, and he's not afraid to show it. He turns to face Caitlin "So, do you want to feel like a princess tonight, or would you like to get your muscles tested?" He teases as he folds his arms over each other, his fingers grip around his muscles as his eyes scan her body before he hints. "I've always wondered how strong you really are. We could wrestle a bit, you know, hands on each others body."

She watched him strut in the mirror like a peacock and let herself smile the slightest bit. Something about him was so freeing, and terrifying at the same time.
When he turned and asked his question, she felt a sudden flush dance its way over her scalp and she shivered. "I'm sure it's my strength you'll be thinking of, if I let you put your hands on my body," She replied sarcastically as she raised one eyebrow at him inquiringly. Then a full fledged smile graced her lips. "But I can say with confidence that's not exactly what I would be thinking of if I were to put my hands on you." Brazen? maybe a little.
Caitlin crossed the floor between them, and as if to test herself, she reached up and placed one hand on his chest. The other she lifted gently over his shoulder, so she could tease her fingertips through the hair at the nape of his neck. With a gentle whisper she said, "I was right."

Levi's cheeks lighten with a rosy color to reveal his actual thoughts as his face falls into a seemingly stunned look. He wasn't expecting that, not from Caitlin, and as her hand comes to his chest, his hands go to her hips pulling her closer to him as she fiddles with his locks. He leans towards the nape of her neck and inhales lightly the sweet scent, sweet to him at least, of the prey. His lips find his way to her neck and offer her a small peck, before his teeth graze the skin just enough to tease. "So why don't you show me what you'd do, Kitten? Or are you scared of getting dominated in a new game to you?" He pulls his head back and places his right hand on her face, stroking her cheek bone with his thumb. "I promise you'll enjoy it, but I won't promise to go easy on you." He says with a devious smile and childish snicker.

uhoh. Suddenly Cait was in the deep end of the pool and it was like she'd completely forgotten how to swim.
dung.
Caitlin swallowed hard and went to take a step back, just to realize his hands were holding her there by her hips. Her eyes slowly rose to meet his. Even though his laughter was childish and playful, her expression was as serious and adult as a girl crossing the line into adulthood once and for all. She knew where all this teasing was going to get her.
"I believe you...." She said, then licked her lips. Her mouth felt so parched for some reason. "I can't Levi. We both know I can't." It was almost a plea, a cry for strength because she had been ignoring this tugging feeling for so long. Fighting it. Fighting her attraction for him. Sharing a cabin was probably the worse idea she'd ever agreed to. It was wearing her down, having temptation so constant and so nearby all the time.

Levi's lips curve into a grin. "You say you can't, because of what others know. If you were to do something that they said you can't, you'd be labeled a heretic. Yet, if you were to do it without them knowing, then ha! You win, and they win! You get me.." He says, with a flourish of a hand to show off himself. "As your guilty pleasure, and the town stays happy because nobody knows! It's a win win, Kitten. Besides, if you stay with me, nobody will ever know your first time wasn't with your husband." If there's one thing Levi is good at, is pulling of a good show. Public isn't too hard, after all, not after he's gotten Caitlin's attention. His fingers glide over her temple to push away a few stray strands of hair behind her ear. He smiles and kisses between her eyebrows. "Maybe you can't, but you did not say you won't."

She sighed. Of course Levi would whisper sweet nothings to get under her skirts. What had she expected. Caitlin touched her fingertips to his lips to stop him from continuing. Then she took a step back out of his arms. "My first time will be with my husband Levi." She turned her back, as much for her benefit as for his, and walked to the other side of the room. She glanced unseeing out the large bay window at the lazy tide below.
"Besides, if you stay with me, nobody will ever know your first time wasn't with your husband." the words echo'd in her head and her posture sharpened as she stood on edge in momentary shock. He didn't mean... no. no, just more pretty words to win her over. She cleared her throat.
"Besides, I've been meaning to tell you, we're no longer roommates. You, sir, have earned the right to call yourself captain!" Cait painted on a pretty smile and turned to face him. "I didn't tell you sooner because that little trial we did with you and Ruffio left my ships in shoddy repair. The team has been working on them and now its time to show you to your new home." The trial had been anything but little, and the damages. well.... but the good news was, she did have a new captain in her ranks, and she would get some time to breathe without constantly walking in and finding him lounging in her bed.

Levi squints and purses his lips into a funny face as he thinks about what Caitlin just said. "Well, on one hand, I'm naming the ship Whistler. On the other hand, I think you just want me out of your bed, which is alright. I'll find a way in some nights so we can have...DATES!" He says, marking the "dates" up with exaggeration by waving his hands and changing the tone of voice. Levi chuckles a bit before going on. "I'll bring food, and we can hide under your blankets, telling spooky ghost stories!" He waggles his fingers as if he was a fancy dancy magician and winks at Caitlin. "If you ever miss the warmth in your bed though, you can always come find me, nothing else but a warm body to sleep next to."

"These are not dates, Levi, though I appreciate the sentiment." She sighed. He was so, difficult, because he was so... likable. She hated him for it too.
"But I believe there was an offer in there somewhere for an actual date, something about being treated like a princess?" She turned to face him. "What should I wear?"
Sorry its so short

Levi cracks a soft smile, and speaks in a low, soft tone. "Well, if we were at our own abode, i'd suggest you wear nothing but the bed sheets, and I'd produce the finest meal my hands could create. You know, I do amazing on the range." He looks around for a moment before finding some odd object to lean up against. "But, I suppose that's not the case we're in! So, wear whatever you feel like, Caitlin. I'm not one to judge." He quirks, with a flash of his teeth.

Her cheeks STILL turned fiery when he teased her like that. She probably wouldn't blush so much if he didn't make eye contact like that when he said it... he'd already seen so much of her, it was hardly a stretch to imagine the rest. Then again, they'd seen, and felt a lot of each other. She thought back to the earlier days, when they would meet up at the river. "I know where I want to go..." She spoke. "But we'll need take out if we're going to eat. There wont be any food when we get there."

Levi's smile turns into a smug look as his right hand rests over his left wrist. His eyes casually drift over her bright face, lit up by the blood in her cheeks. He offers a gesture that gives off the 'I'm ready whenever you are' stance, and blows her a kiss. "Are ya' gonna change, or are you gonna stay in that? Either way, I'm sure I could work around it." He smiles and pushes off of the beam he was leaning against and walks over to the bed to grab his hat from the hook. He plops it on his head and brushes his hair out of his eyes with his fingers. "Of course, I could always eat wherever we're going, " He pauses to slyly wink "..but where would you like to get some grub, Cait?"

There was always that pastry shop inside the train station. They could grab a few then hop the fence... She said as much, her eyes twinkling as she practically gave away their destination. She hoped he wouldn't be bored by the idea, returning to the same river bed time after time. Call her a sap, but she loved that place. She loved it because it reminded her of him, even when she was the reason he went away.

Levi furrows his eyebrows and waves a hand in front of Caitlin's face a few times as he calls out. "Hello, anyone in there?" Jokingly as his smile splits from cheek to cheek as he pretends to look into her eyes, searching for something. It's almost as she turned into a zombie, with that glaze over her eyes, or if she could see through walls and people! "Don't tell me you're getting as excited as a school girl, now are you?"
