Open to EIRAL
This does take place before The Fox and the Fool thread because it's time to get some EIRAL RP going!
When one was separated from all source of comfort zones and support lines, they either had to adapt or would usually fall into depression. Stress generally reached these people much easier yet for Lorraine, she was quite relaxed. She had been within the military approximately one day and felt no loneliness since she knew her family was still nearby-- a luxury she had over some others. After she had reported in with captain Zeist, she had been showed to her housing which was small and cramped but doable then told to report the following day for training. With her first day of training complete, she arrived at her room exhausted and worn from the exercises. Although she had great lungs and could run for long periods of time and for long distances, she struggled with her ranged training and lift training. If anything, the burning sensations she felt throughout her body had been worth it.
While returning to her room, the noble girl had caught wind about a library filled with vast knowledge and for that she would later have to explore, but first she had other matters to attend to and that was to make friends. High Commander Skye said these people would be her brothers and sisters in arm but she had yet to formally introduce herself to any of them and this would be her goal. Finding herself in her room feeling suffocated once again, she patted Felix on the back then led him out of her quarters with a book in hand towards the mess hall where many people seemed to be gathered. She’d received several odd looks as she walked over to a line waiting to be served. The corners of her lips fell into a frown as she assumed this was due to the fox at her feet then just simply ignored it. When she’d reached the front of the line she found only a sandwich delectable and took it for her own before making her way toward the collected tables.
A look at each showed the vast majority of them to be filled with no room to spare for her. Other tables she’d seen with one or two places available were filled with people who did not look all too friendly. Perhaps she should be less judging and have tried to speak with those people anyhow but instead her eyes finally settled on a lone, empty table. Quickly, she scurried over to claim this for herself and Felix. Once seated, she placed the sandwich and book down before exhaling in defeat. Lorraine rested her forearm on the table and then rested her forehead on her forearm. Oh, she was such a fool, being so scared to meet new people. That’s what she came here to do wasn’t it? Maybe she would just get up and return to her room.
