Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
"...Kind of a waste, don't you think?" Amon replied with a slight grunt as he manually began to bend the metal back to their (somewhat) original positions.
"Wouldn't it...be better to come up with a more...efficient fuel system or at the very least...include multiple canisters...that way...you can...GET..." he continued as he bent one particularly stubborn metal fragment. "...More bang for your buck so to speak."
He didn't really know why he was giving so much information...force of habit when it came to inefficient systems he guessed.
At least he was almost done. It was by no means perfect, but it'll do.

“It would, yeah. But from what I last heard, they’re working on other projects right now. Trying to match Sveden tech and other such stuff,” she spoke a little absentmindedly, as she watched him work curiously. She was starting to understand what was going on within the mechanics at least. It was nice to watch and she was slowly realizing that it was okay to push at the gears sometimes.

"...I see...Almost..." Amon responded, tightening a few extra screws before presenting the repaired gauntlets.
"There. Finished."

Standing up straight, she smiled upon hearing that the gauntlets were better now. “Thank you so much,” she said with a nod, reaching to her pockets to pull out her wallet. “How much do I owe you?” Whatever the price, she was prepared to pay it; she expected there to be some sort of premium for the short notice work, but hopefully it wouldn’t be too much. She was on a military paycheck after all. “I hope not to rush in here again,” she confessed with a light laugh. “But I am curious as to how far I can modify these.”

Amon thought for a moment, before waving his hand. "You're first one is free," he replied, putting the tools away. "Besides, you've shown me some interesting tech, plus it's been a while since I had the pleasure of talking tech with an interested party."
"You're next one, however, will be costly," he continued, giving her a slight glare from behind his bangs. "Especially if your modifications are the reason behind these things breaking down."
"On that note, shouldn't you be somewhere?"

She paused for a few moments, caught off guard from his kindness in forgiving the debt. As she recovered, she tucked her money away and picked up the glove. She held it gently for a few moments, testing to see if it were fine. When it was, she nodded and stopped the overly gentle treatment. “Thank you sincerely.” She glanced around for a clock when he mentioned needing to be somewhere. As her eyes focused on one, she frowned. “I suppose I do need to get back and report for duty. Would it be alright if I came again? If I have question about technology or something…” The question showed her timid side, but she fought to ask it anyhow. Her eyes sifted to examine the steam work device in more detail now.

"...Fine..." Amon sighed as he finished cleaning up.
It was better than some of the other characters that popped in to annoy him from time to time.
