Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Open to Elaine AnncroftIt had been a while since Zona was last in the theater. With being away for so long she had nearly forgotten that she had a job to do when she came back. Zona stood of to the side as she waited for Elaine. The girl said she had a job that would need two people, and with how long it had been having a partner could be helpful for Zona right now. She sighed a bit as she watched different guild members walk about. Some went straight to the board when the came down, others came and mingled, walked about and then left, never even looking at the board, others were cleaning, one some were moving things, it was a little bit of everything. And then there was Zona. Just leaning up against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest waiting. She didn't mind standing there, but she did hope Elaine would be coming soon, she was stating to get a cramp in her leg.

Elaine looked down the stairs before going down them. A book to her face as she read, a look of severe concentration on her face. She bypassed a guildmate with a "pardon me" and started walking across the room. She reached the center and paused, glancing up and around. A few members asking her questions, all to which she promptly and kindly answered before sporting Zona. Closing the book with a soft little snap she greeted the woman with a wave. A bookmark end trailing out of the tome and flapping around a bit.
The girl was conducting a bit of research. But as of the moment, that didn't matter.

"Well its about time that ya got here." Zona said with a smile as she pushed herself off against the wall and made her way over to where Elaine was. "I was beginnin' to think that ya forgot about me." Zona added as she put her hand to her chest some, making it seem like she was sad with a broken heart.after all she did have a code name to keep up with. "So what all needs to happen tonight?" She asked as she looked around a bit.

"I don't think I have the luck or blessing to forget about you." She teased, sticking her tongue out at her older friend. Tucking her book into the satchel at her hips. Smirking at Zona's dramatic reaction, pretending not to be affected by it at all. "Tonight we have a special mission along with another tag along. He's waiting outside though." She began, slipping her hand into her pockets. "We have a target on a group. There are at least four, it's a bigger group then that but those four are the main people. I believe if we take them out, then the rest will disperse like chickens without heads. If not then it's going to be a bit more effort and more money in our pockets." Elaine leaned up against the wall beside Zona. "Now there is one that is tough, big burly people that would be easier to take out from a distance. I need you as a sniper first. Take him out and then the rest are going to be hand to hand in a tight spot." She was relaying the strategy she'd planned in her head. "The place they're staying is a warehouse by the docks, just on the edge. Two stories and a lot of room until you get into the back, which is where the ring leader will most likely be along with his comrades. Let's try and keep it as quiet as possible. There might be a lot of dockhands around. But hey, were assassins, it's what we do."

"Is it bad that I'm hoping the others try something? I'm really in the mood for a good fight and I think this could be just what I need." Zona said with a slight smirk, not caring to much the the killer in her was coming out a bit, but after all like Elaine said they were assassins, it was their job to do that. "I could try for a few other with my bow if ya want, after all I am the best archer this guild has seen. I should be able to take out two or three before the others would notice, up to you though. I can go either way." Zona said as she placed her hands on her hips ready to get out there and do this.

"Nope, I hope they do too. Delete out anything else that might become a threat later." She examined her claws slightly, searching for dirt under them. "You can take out as many as you like. I'm going in after anyone on the ground floor who's got their warrants here. Move up from there." She pushed off the wall. Heading for the door. "I need the workout." She huffed with a laugh. "I haven't done any jobs aside from running errands this week."
Once she got out the door of the theatre there was a sudden appearance of a large furry shadow by her side. Castiel had joined the party. Hopefully the big mutt wouldn't scare Zona.
"I can understand that. It's been a while since I last did a job. I may be a bit rusty but nothing that would get me killed or even hurt for that matter, maybe just a scratch." She said with a shrug as she followed Elaine up the stairs and out of the theater. The weather was perfect, not to hot, not to cold. Just enough moon light for them to see, and a large shadow to cover them. Wait large shadow?... Zona paused for a moment as she looked over to see who was making the shadow only to see a big, fluffy, fur ball connected to it. "Well long time no see." She said with a bit of a smile as she held a hand out to the dog, letting him sniff it if he wanted. "I almost forgot you had a dog." Zona said with a smiled as she looked at the big fur ball. Though she loved cats and preFURred them over dogs, she still had a soft spot in her heart for them. In reality she was cool with any animal. "So is this big guy comin' with us?" Zona questioned as she looked over to Elaine.
(Did you see!? I made a joke! Ha!)

Elaine nodded, "You need back in the action rustbucket." She teased when Z said she might be a bit rusty. Castiel however, noting the woman's hand, leaned in to give it a sniff. He seemed uninterested in the smell of cats and metal and turned away to trot at Elaine's heels. "He's so quiet you'd think I'd forget I had one....if it weren't for the fact he thinks he's a lap dog." She snickered softly. "And yes, he's coming. He's recon." Elaine headed towards the warehouse, feeling like sticking to the street for this one for now.

Zona snickered some as she watched the dog walk away. Shaking her head some Zona walked off, catching up to Elaine in no time. "Recon can be a good thing to have." Zona said as she placed her hands in her pockets, thinking about what may happen and trying to plan out what to do if things go certain ways. "So do we have a time that we have to wait until or are we just walking in on their party?" Zona questioned. She liked knowing details like this even if she was a bit of a wild card when it came to the actual fight.

"I think walking in on their party will be rather fun. Don't you?" Elaine kept her eyes forwards. "Cas can scope out where everyone is so when we crash their little party we don't wind up stuck." Elaine was in the mood for fast, furious, and a little fun never hurt. The job had to be done and afterwards they could reap the rewards and go eat. Which is what she was really looking forward to.

Zona gave Elaine a devilish smirk as she walked next to the girl. No wonder this girl was her best friend. "I do enjoy crashing parties." Zona said with a smirk as she looked out in front of her, ready for action.

Elaine smiled in return, pressing along and taking a few new alleys to head to the warehouse. Cas' ears swiveling back and forth, his attentions switching to high alert. She'd trained him well. "Okay...." Elaine slipped her gloves off and whipped out her twin daggers. Flipping the handles in her hands as she stood behind a few crates that offered nice cover in the dying sunlight. The sky was still light enough to give an indication as to where they might be and Elaine didn't want to have to put in a whole lot of effort into sneaking around. She'd wait for darkness. Cas sitting down at her feet. "We'll just wait for now. Shouldn't be much longer. Cas, seek." The dog trotted off into the streets.

Zona nodded at what Elaine said. Though to be honest this was the part about jobs she hated the most... She was never really a patient one except when it came to the bow, with that she could sit around and wait for hours if she need to, though it still did suck. She looked around the corner some before she looked down at her feet. Man did she need some new boots, these were all dirty and the right one was nearly worn all the way down thanks to her leg... She had grown so used to that big hunk of metal that she would completely forget she was missing that leg at times. Hm... funny how that works... Her mind began to wonder as she waited for the dog to come back.

Elaine was fully relaxed for the time being, just keeping an ear out for Cas. Tossing Zona a look, then crossing her eyes and snickering softly. Leave it to the feline to one: be easily entertained and two: find a way to be the dorkiest one in the room at all times. She was far too much like her father, with whom she played the most amusing games of charades with when her mother(and his wife) wouldn't look at them. Silent arguments were held, bets were placed, small conversations were had in the mute game of facial expressions and great hand gestures. Her and her father could almost read each other's minds. Either way, now Elaine was merely trying to keep herself occupied, and give Zona a little taste of the bestie she'd been missing. The girl stuck her tongue out and leaned against a crate.

Zona just happened to look over to Elaine as the girl began to cross her eyes. "Phfff-" Zona laughed a bit at the girl, giving her a friendly little nudge in the process. "I thought we needed to be serious and ready on missions like these?" Zona joked as she shook her head a bit. She had missed this.
