Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Hi, yes, me again. I got promoted at work on top of having to do a billion school assignments. I am terribly sorry because it means I can only lurk and not really make any posts at the time. When I can, I will. If you are in any threads with my characters and wish to move on, please do not let my characters stop you. Except for those obvious ones.

Heeeey, guuuyz, so I know this isn't really the proper place to say what I'm gonna say but I am cuz I couldn't find anywhere else. Anyway, I'm back!...Kinda. Sorry for being gone so long, life's just gotten really busy for me. Trying to balance work and school and recreational time has not been pleasant, but I'm moving along. So, here's the plan because I'm semi-free this week (Spring Break), I'll try and reply at least once a day. After this week, we'll have to see but for now let's not worry.

Can't wait till summer! Things will pick up like they always do I always love summer
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin

Despite a great loss that left a void that was difficult to fill, many moved on.
But there was some thing...odd...happening.
It was subtle at first; a fruit here, some bread there, small amounts of goods seemed to be missing.
Originally, the merchants chalked it up to decreasing supply, due to the war. But over the last couple of weeks, the amount of good missing seemed to be on the rise, indicating an elaborate string thefts, possible now that Amon's security system seemed to be no longer operational.
That was something else too: after Amon's passing, the amount of birds in the district dramatically decreased overnight. As time went on, it slowly grew, only to blossom back to their normal numbers over the past week, coinciding with the string of thefts.
Then there were the noises; odd clicks that proliferated the air whenever the skies were absent of raining explosives. And that's not all: there were even reports of strange sounds emanating from Amon's abandoned warehouse, but the sentries continued to perform their last command and deterred anyone from approaching the building
Whispers spread throughout the district, as rumors were discussed in hushed voices: maybe the machines were smarter than expected, and were the ones responsible for the master mechanic's demise. Or better yet: maybe they missed him, and are rebuilding a new master for themselves.
Either way, the rumors seemed to reach a crescendo, only to rapidly dissipate over the next couple of days when nothing really happened. Just like business as usual, people moved on with their lives.
With the exception of one group.
The rumors perked their interest.
They made their preparations.
Their goal: investigate the building.
Take what they find.
Leave no one standing.
And maybe.
Just maybe.
Finish the job.
---
Inside of the building, a lone figure smiled, stifling a deranged laugh.
It had been far too long.
But everything was ready.
The trap was set.
Soon.
