Open to Elaine Anncroft
It seemed like forever since the last time Keefe stepped outside of his house, even though he did just go on that wonderful vacation with Zona back to where she and his parents used to live. Because of that trip the two of them had become much closer and Zona finally accepted him as her brother, he couldn't blame her for not wanting to in the beginning though she had never had any really family before. He would need to pay her a visit sometime this week. Smiling some Keefe made his way off, he had things to do and places to be and he wanted all this done before the afternoon started. And with that he left, making his way to a different part of the merchants district.
Keefe knew the store he needed to stop at but he couldn't remember where exactly it was, so he walked with a steady pace as the looked at each store he passed. After going down a few more streets Keefe finally found it, and with a large smile he entered in through the door. He looked around at everything they had, all the different shapes and sizes, some were large and obnoxious others were small and sparkly. Keefe asked all the questions he needed until he found exactly what he was looking for. With a large smile he held it up some, rotation it to see it from every angle. The color was perfect, the size was just right, and the way it shined and glimmered in the light was beyond anything he could have hoped for. He even got a small engagement on it. "This is perfect." Keefe said with a smile as the Jeweler warped it up and gave it back to him in a small black velvet box, "She is one lucky girl to get that." The man said with a smile as he waved Keefe off, "I bet she will love it!" The man added as Keefe walked out the door. Smiling Keefe looked at the small box before placing it nicely in his pocket.
Keefe was now onto his next destination, but luckily for him this one shouldn't have take as long as the last, after all he did stop by this place before to have it prepared fresh and ready for him when he stopped. "Hey Walter! Is everything all ready to go?!" Keefe questioned with excitement bubbling over in his voice. "Just finished it a minute ago, so its all fresh and ready to go man! I even added a little somethin' in there for ya." The man said with a smile as he pushed the basket towards Keefe. "What did you-" He began to say as he looked in the basket, "No way! Where did you get these?! This is perfect Elaine loves this!" Keefe said with a large smile as he stared up at the man. "Thanks! This is great!" Keefe said as he grabbed the basket and made his way out the door, "Good luck man!" Keefe smiled as Walter waved him off. Now it was onto the next place.
This was his second to last stop and for him he was glad, it was getting closer and closer to noon, and he wanted to be done with all this before then. Picking up the pace some Keefe made it to a small stand in the center of the merchants district. Looking around a bit Keefe picked everything he needed. He choose a few red ones, a few orange, a couple yellow and one large green one that went in the center of them all. As the woman wrapped them all together she smiled a bit, "You have an eye for colors, these look wonderful together. and this smells divine. I hope your girl isn't allergic to these." She said as she finished wrapping and handed them to Keefe. "No she isn't allergic to these, I just hope she likes them." Keefe said as the gently set them down on top of the basket that he was carrying. "I'm sure she will love them." The woman said as Keefe smiled and walked off.
Keefe let out a small sigh, he had finished everything and had just enough time to get to the last place before the clock would chime that it was 12. Smiling Keefe made his way to the last place he needed to be before everything would be set. As he arrived at the door Keefe straightened up and hoped that Elaine would be home. Her parents said that she would be, or that they would at least try to keep her there until he came. And with that he double checked that he did everything he needed to over in his head. He got that, and that, and of course that, he had already asked it this was ok with them, the day was perfect, the weather was nice, everything seemed to be good, the only thing left to do was knock. And with that he did.
