Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Uriah raised his eyebrow to the mans introduction, it was strange but he didn't seem completely shocked as things slowly pieced themselves together mildly but it was still strange that the two of them would meet up in a place like this at random but hey their first encounter was just as random as ever. Watching him attempt to stand up before encountering some difficulty the man just sighed and places the glass down before walking around the bar and placing his hand upon Lasair's shoulder. "Sit down, you're not going anywhere on your own without meeting a mouth full of wood or even worse gravel outside." Using a small amount of force he didn't want to have to make Lasair sit but now he had a mild personal stake in what he might end up doing for the rest of the night in this state. Who could of possibly guessed that Lasair suffered from such thoughts and feelings, it wasn't something apparent from the front but people tend to hide their worse demons within their good intentions to ignore them.

Lasair didn’t protest as he was nudged back to his seat, sinking down with a defeated sigh. His hand found its way back to his face, rubbing all the exhaustion and drunkenness around. “I can’t stay here. You need to go home.” With his free hand he gestured around him, pointing out that the place was now empty. All the customers had left to go home, the last walking out the door as Lasair had stood up.
But where would he go? As the bartender (still unrecognized) had pointed out, he couldn’t exactly walk right. But he really wouldn’t mind falling on his face a few times. Maybe it would sober him up. However, he had been told to sit so he had sat down. What happened next was up to the barkeep.
Uriah let out a large sigh as he thought to himself for a moment and rubbed the back of his neck. Even if Lasair could tell Uriah where exactly his home was the man doubted that he could actually describe it without having difficulty in his current state. "Just hang around as I clean up okay? You can stay at my house tonight." At the thought the man smirked and turned away and began to put up bar stools on top of the tables for whoever was going to come in tomorrow to fix up.
It was an entertaining thought to have Lasair over not because they're mildly friends but more of he didn't expect Lasair to remember anything that happened this night and would have the strangest wake up in another man's house unless... He had done that before but he didn't seem like that kind of guy. None the less on the other hand Lasair needed somewhere to stay on if he didn't exactly have his permit to be out at this current time he could just wind up somewhere else he didn't want to be entirely with a hangover. Uriah eventually finished up after what might of seemed like a prolonged period of time before we walked over to the red haired man.
"Alright, come on up. Give me your arm." Uriah spoke to him, not really going to accept no as answer. Wanting the man to get up and wrap one of his arms over his shoulder so he could at least help him walk outside of the building.

“You don’t mind?” Lasair asked, failing to realize the oddity in a stranger inviting him over, for he still saw the man as a stranger. “I shouldn’t trouble you. You should just leave me on the curb. I be okay.” He nodded his head, convinced that his suggestion was the best one.
When the command came to stand up, he did so quietly and without a complaint. He didn’t know what would happen to him, and he was at a point in the night where he just couldn’t bring himself to care. Let the man rob him and leave him on the street. It would fit the mood the red head was in. The street would be a nice home.
Uriah took hold of Lasair's arm and began to walk forward even if he stumbled about or showed any sort of difficulty only taking the time to stop for a moment for him to readjust himself before carrying back on their way. Walking to the door of the store Uriah turned off the lights and closed the door behind the two of them before locking it. "I'm going to have to return the key later.." He spoke to himself before looking over to the drunken Lasair and hoisted him up a bit to get standing up more straightly as they began to walk the streets.
They were a few blocks away from Uriah's place and if at any point they ran into anyone checking for curfew passes it could cause some trouble. "So women huh? You know Lasair with that clean-cut look you have I figured you wouldn't have those type of problems. Just do me a favor and somewhere in your drunken state don't try to seduce me, I don't want your vomit on my outfit here." Chuckling the man figured he should have his fun with this as the two moved forward while Uriah tried to take as many safe alleys and short cuts as possible to avoid getting mugged on such a nice night out.

“Looks can cause problem too,” he hiccuped, stumbling a bit every few steps. “I’m the perfect guy! Do everything for everyone without ever a complaint. But I never want to fall in too deep. Get too committed. I never want them to regret knowing me.” He swayed some more, hiccuping and coughing as they walked. His voice wasn’t quiet, sadly, but he wasn’t yelling and screaming either. It was nice that with every stumble or fall, someone was there to catch and hold him. Keep him from snacking on the sidewalk. He might even remember some of this journey in the morning. Kindness is not something he forgets easily.
Uriah shook his head silently towards what the man was saying and just gently gave Lasair a pat on his back and continued to carry him along on their way. "If you're having problem with looks I'm sure there is a few ways we could fix that." The man joked that maybe a black eye, missing tooth and some extra things could ruin beauty but some how he figured that deep down Lasair wouldn't really be a large fan of an idea like that. Though Uriah's thoughts went over how the brightly hair colored man said he was 'perfect' but he wasn't really one to complain to much about minor details.
As the two continued down the street they were approached rather quickly by a single brown haired individual, speaking out to the duo on the streets. "Evenin' gents. Enjoying your stroll past curfew hours?" Uriah silent cursed to himself not really wanting to be caught like this tonight and having to deal with the trouble before looking over at the still capped Lasair who might not of been any help for the time being. "Ah yes, helpin' my friend here back to my apartment.. As you might be able to see he has had a little to much to drink. Unfortunately."
Uriah let out a visible sigh before the man and hoped he could avoid a very particular sentence. "I'm going to need to see your permits." And there it was a painful sentence that caused a shiver of fear to run down his spine. Taking a gulp of empty air the man nodded his head and looked down to his coat pocket and began to reach back there thinking of a way he could perhaps talk himself out of this if Lasair couldn't do something in his drunken state about it.

The redhead just laughed at the suggestion, wondering if he should join the band of individuals sporting eye patches. Not everyone who wore one was missing an eye, after all. But the idea could no longer be entertained as an individual in a uniform walked up and mumbled some gibberish about permits.
“Permit me one word please,” Lasair replied, but then immediately began laughing at his silly pun. The laughter slowly turned into coughing, however. And then the coughing turned to gagging. And then out came a foul smelling swill of mostly alcohol, the bulk of it landing on the guards pants and shoes. Oops.
Uriah rolled his eyes before cringing at the sounds that came out of Lasair as he truly hoped this wouldn't make things worse. The guard moved back but not fast enough to prevent getting his pants soaked and well we're not going to say anything about his shoes. "Ugh.. Disgusting." The man spoke out before Uriah quickly began to hopefully persuade him to let the two pass. "As you can tell sir, my companion here drank a fair bit to much at the bar before I closed up."
The guard only shook his head and tried to kick most of the liquid off and away from the duo. "Just go and don't let me see your faces again." to those Uriah's quickly nodded his head before patting Lasair's back. "Come on now, not much further." He tried to reassure him and slowly move him along untill the eventually managed to reach his apartment, of course just reaching the building wasn't that difficult but now the real challenge was coming about... Stairs. "Uh oh.." Uriah let out a worried noise before having to shift Lasair a bit more to almost carrying him completely on his back. "Please don't vomit, please don't vomit, I will drop you down these stairs if you vomit." Speaking lowly and quickly under his breath he was praying that hopefully Lasair could hold onto whatever was still in his stomach for just a little bit longer till they could reach the second level.

“Thanks…” Lasair mumbled, having failed to realize that the guard was long gone at this point. He looked around for a few confused moments as he was dragged away once more, unsure of what was going on all over again. The rest of the trip passes in a blur, at least it did until they came to a set of stairs.
The red head peered up at the heights. They only grew as more alcohol was within him and made him a bit uneasy already. Without the first step being taken. But he shook his head and leaned even more so onto his mysterious escort. “My tummy is okay,” he said quietly, closing his eyes as they began to climb. So long as the other man didn’t trip, they should make it up without a problem.
The two made their way up the stairs and luckily for Uriah there was nothing coating the floorboards that could trip him up and it was only a matter of time before they stood before his front door which is happily pulled the key out of his coat pocket before unlocking it and pushing it open to reveal the interior of his apartment. The wooden floorboard seemed to have a particular polish to it with a small assortment of furniture suitable for a limited quantity of guest. The main room to be fair in size with a single table with five chairs crowded around it even if Uriah sat there alone a majority of the time. Sadly enough he wasn't able to get a fireplace on the second floor even though he really wanted to have one installed at a certain point in time but as a major center piece to the room was his collection of instruments that say perfectly on the shelf around a large clock he had to painstakingly persuade someone to put up for him so he wouldn't break it just with his touch alone.
"And now we're home." He nodded and brought Lasair inside before sitting him down upon the couch which gave him a direct view of the clock and showed off the multiple shelves full of what would look like a random assortment of books. The walls themselves were nearly covered with pictures of his family or locations that he one day wished to visit if he ever got the opportunity. "Need anything?" He at least felt the need to ask before walking away and leaving the man on the couch to prepare some tea for himself and his guest who he honestly never expected to have in his house or really see again after the night at the casino. Letting the water warm up he had some time to kill and some conversation to make. "Is it this easy to get into those girls houses?" He chuckled and commented though he didn't expect a happy reply.. or really a reply in general. Just some mumbling and grumbling and any moment expect Lasair to spread out on the couch and head off to dreamland.

He ambled along, unsure of his surroundings until he was dumped on a couch. Soft. Soft is good. A hand reached out to stroke the material, while the other reached up to rub his eyes. Blinking several times, he surveyed the room. The books and the clocks and all the little detailed bombarded him. So he settled on just looking towards the man who had brought him.
“It can be…but not always,” he chuckled after speaking. “Thank you sir, for helping me out tonight. I’m sorry that I’m not myself.” Some of those words slurred together, but the message was received. Lasair was thankful, something that always stuck out about his character to those who took a moment to notice. “Is there anything I can do for ya?” he asked then, rubbing his eyes anew.
