Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
<OPEN TO ALL, basically i'm new here to Lodan (just registered) and would like to get to know everyone better~!>
A strangled gasp escaped Edith and she stumbled her way home. "Arugh, this isn't good," clutching her bleeding arm she kept moving forward.
Edith was well acquainted to pain. It wasn't as if any one here in the slums didn't know what it was like. She delt it out in self defense, but man those muggers had gotten the jump on her. The sneaky thieves did it as she was leaving the Theater District to head home, totally relaxed and humming to herself, she didn't see it coming until she felt a force hit her head. Needless to say, things had gotten ugly really fast for both sides. It had taken her a precious moment to adjust to a three on one scenario, one that got her a fat lip and another slash on the arm, but in the end she won. She had managed to almost make it home, but she was huffing now and things were getting blurry.

Keefe had somehow ended up in a rather unfamiliar place. Though he had been living here for a good amount of time he still didn't know his way around the city yet. He mush have taken the wrong turn back in the Theater district without knowing it, as it was he did just buy a new piece of art and was a bit distracted with it. As Keefe looked around he tried to remember which way he had come from, that didn't help much though since he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking. As he was walking around he noticed someone up ahead, "Maybe they could help me." Keefe thought as he picked up his pace some to catch up with the other person, "Umm. Excuse me. Could you help me for a moment?" Keefe asked as he walked up next to them. As he did so he noticed the blood coming from their arm, "Oh my... Are you ok? Your arm..." Keefe said with a concerned look on his face.
(Keefe needs some more friends, so lets see how this turns out, shall we!?!)
(Well let's make some friends, shall we~) Edith stopped and looked at the confused teen before her. She had to squint to focus in on his face, never a good sign, and it took her a moment to register that he asked her two things. She really didn't want to deal with someone else while injured, she didn't need to be almost mugged again, but they seemed... well, lost.
"The road to Central town is down that way," she titled her head towards the path in the alley to the left. "As for the arm," she turned her head away from him, "don't worry about about it."

Spotting the familiar face of Keefe, Lasair turned in his walk towards the blond kid, noticing that he was talking to a certain new recruit of his guild. He’d pretend he was just meeting her.
Approaching the pair, he said that Edith seemed to have gotten into a fight, which wasn’t surprising, but she was bleeding pretty bad. “Hello Keefe,” he greeted his friend. “Who’s your friend? And do you need help?” The second question was directed at the bleeding one, if that wasn’t obvious.

"A-Are you sure?! I could walk you to a doctor or something!" Keefe said as he offered to help the injured person. Just then a familiar voice came into ear shot. Keefe turned around to see Lasair walking up to the two of them. "Hello." Keefe said with a light smile as he turn towards the man, "I don't know who they are, I was lose and... Well something happened to them and I offered my help, like take them somewhere for medical help, like the doctor or something." Keefe said to Lasair, a bit concerned for the other and unsure of what to do.
Edith heard a voice address her and found herself focusing on the strangers red hair as an anchor for her vision. She blinked, man maybe she was hit in the head harder then she thought, and finally processed that the two knew each other and seemed worried for her well being. She felt comfort at their concern, it seemed genuine, that was a nice change. The corner of her mouth tugged at a smile, "Really, you two should see the other guys. This isn't much to be concerned abou-" She suddenly stumbled to the left as her vision issues had vertigo added to the mix. It took a second for her to get her bearings and stand straight again. Her right arm was warm with blood and her head throbbing.

Leaning forward to try and catch her, Lasair was surprised at how quickly she regained her balance. Blood was flowing freely from her arm, he wouldn’t be able to use magic for that, but he could patch up a couple other things. “Come on, let’s get you to a doctor. I can heal a couple things, but that gash is pretty bad.” He moved to one side of her and gestured for Keefe to take the other, to make sure they don’t stumble again. He looked over at Keefe when he spoke next. "And what were you doing way out here? I thought you didn't get lost anymore."
Medivha ‘s shop wasn’t far from here, they could lead the bleeding one over there, but then again it might not be a good idea to bother her. (will only go there with Vieka’s permission, otherwise it’s to a random doc)

Keefe looked on with concern as Lasair talked to the person. Lasair then gestured to Keefe to help and grab the other side of them so that they wouldn't fall again. Nodding Keefe raced over to the other side to help, luckily the two men were about the same height so everything seemed to be even. "Hey now, I still get lost in places I don't normally go." Keefe said as he looked over to the man, "I guess I just took a wrong turn without realizing it... But it's a good thing I did." Keefe said with a smile, happy he was able to help now.
The two were slightly taller then her, so it felt a little awkward around her shoulders yet other wise fine. Her head felt as if someone were trying do dance on her brain, with the pounding only increasing. Her arm was bleeding badly too, as if her physical condition wasn't bang up enough.
"So," she smirked through pain, "not following lost boy's directions then. Where do we go?"

(Vieka gave her approval)
“A friend of mine has a shop that’s pretty close. She’s in Mingo’s like you Keefe, and she’s a great doctor.” Lasair did his best to support her weight, rather proud of her for hanging on so long. She’d earned her place in the guild, he was sure of that.
Leading them into the Merchant’s district he knocked on Vie’s door and then pushed it open. Edith needed help, they didn’t have time to wait. “Hey doctor, ya in there? Got a bleeder here.”
"Seven hells Lupen it's way too early for your crap!" A loud voice yelled as a crashing noise came from the kitchen, along with much colourful language afterwards as the brunette stumbled into view, partly tripping over her own feet as she struggled to fix her plague mask in place quickly with an empty coffee pot in hand, visibly cringing when the silver smacked into her head with her clumsy movements. Hair more haywire then usual and fitted slacks and white button up very wrinkled, it was rather obvious that the young woman had only just dragged herself out of bed, and had absolutely no concept of what the time was.
"Didn't I lock that bloody door?" She stared at the trio in her front room before sighing. Picking up a kitchen towel and throwing it at blondies face, she turned back into the kitchen. "Press the towel against the bleeding and get your arses in here. If you bleed on my floors, you lot'll be cleaning it up" She called back at them grumpily, intent on putting on her coffee before dealing with the three musketeers.

Keefe smiled some at the joke that was just made about him and being lost. "Yes, it would be best not to follow me." Keefe said as they all walked along to the next district. It seemed they all made it there in no time, and once there Keefe immediately recognized where he was, though he did not know of the new doctor that had just come. "Oh, I don't think I've heard of them. It should be nice to meet them." Keefe said with a smile. Oh well, better late then never.
As they entered the house the person inside seemed mad they were there. Keefe looked at the doctor with rather large eyes, confused and unsure about the woman. "Isn't she the doctor? Aren't they supposed to be nicer..." Keefe thought as they all walked in more. Keefe stood there for a few moments and just looked on in silence, unsure of what to do. He wanted to say hello but he had a feeling that may be a bad idea.
The trip to the red head's friends' shop pass by fairly quick, but that may have been because Edith wasn't exactly capable for telling left from right anymore. What she could tell, though, was that the three of them weren't exactly appreciated dropping in.
At his remark, Edith felt somewhat inclined to agree with Keeefe, she had heard from the red head, that this woman did not seem at all happy to see them. But, grunting in response to her advice about the bleeding, she would take what ever help that was being offered gratefully.

Either Vieka had bad aim, or Keefe sidestepped the towel. Either way it landed in Lasair’s face so he took it and pressed it firmly against the worse area bleeding. Even though it was early morning, he had expected Vie to at least be getting up. Evidently she was still asleep. Whoops. Too late now and he made a mental note to apologize later.
Still holding the towel to her arm, he began pulling Edith into the kitchen. For whatever reason, Keefe was suddenly dumbfounded so Lasair made sure to get Edith into a chair. She complained about her head; the brutes must of hit that a few too many times. “Anything I can do to help?” he asked Vie then, hoping that maybe it would lessen her displeasure from the intrusion.
Vieka yawned as she left her coffee to brew, traipsing her way over to her new patient while awkwardly rubbing the sleep out of her eyes from under her mask. Preferably, she would have liked to sleep a few more hours, but one of the cats that had made itself at home here demanded feeding and woke her up. Either way, there was no way she was going to get back to bed now, at least not for a while.
"eyes focused on me..." She grumbled, carefully using her digits to open up the mans eyes... womans?... hm. The general heavy set and cloths would insinuate a male but the roundness of the face and slight dip of the waist said female. She supposed in the end it didn't matter. The injuries were superficial for the most part, although they did have a minor concussion by the looks of it. As long as the damage was mostly external though the gender wouldn't matter much.
"Could you go get me one of the rags I've got in the cupboards and douse it in cold water? Bottom cupboard, furthest on the right by the cold cupboard. I'll also need you to get some ice from the stockpile in said cold cupboard." The half breed muttered in response to the red heads question, continuing with her examination.
"What's your name and what gender pronunciation would you prefer?" She asked Edith quietly, tilting her dark haired patients head around carefully as she looked over the bleeding wound.
